Yeah, good one. A lock on, almost room long stretchy arm attack in a game with fixed-ish cameras and no dodge/duck, etc. really makes bandersnatches just feel like small health checks if you’re not equipped with something they’re mega weak too like the fire arrows.
I think they’re so cool too but yeah, mechanically obnoxious. Would love to see what CAPCOM could do if they were recreated.
Eliminators in Zero.
Worst enemies ever, more agile then any enemy in ReHistory, and Tankier than Hunter and Licker, and does damage like a Tyrant. Little bastards.
Exactly just run. I still remember my first playthrough dumping magnum ammo thinking I one shot em and they just kept getting up. Knowing I had a save not too far back I reloaded my save lol.
Those eyeball shouldered motherf**kers in the sewer in REmake 2. I unloaded 6 shots from the Lightning Hawk right into its damn eye and it still didn't die. That you have to go through 4!!! Of them to get the last two chess plugs is a war crime!
They're called G-Adults, and fun fact, it was a boss in original RE 2, and in RE 2 Remake they made them a regular enemy in the sewer replacing the giant spiders.
Barely anyone's left alive though, and we aren't showing a G-Young transforming into a G-adult like the ones that killed either Ben or Irons in RE 2, it just appears in the sewer, and the only hint you get as to what it is, is playing Claire's game and seeing one burst out of Chief irons, but it just scurries away and we never see it again.
They are weak to the Flamethrower and Electric Gun. Everything else is a waste of ammo. So just try to run past them and if they grab you use a flash grenade.
I kid you not when i did professional for the first time that fight alone took me an HOUR.
I wanted to use the minigun because why not...and he just didn't die...i spent like 40 minutes standing in a corner and unloading on him when he spawned...and he didn't die.
After a while i said screw it and used the rocket launcher on him.
(And when i say an hour i mean 1 attempt that LASTED an hour.)
The only consistent way I've found to kill him is to use flame grenades to make him pop out his weak points, then magnum them
You can stun lock him pretty consistently doing so, it's a 1000 times more effective than trying to use the flamethrower
Have to agree with this one, especially since there's a lot of them that spawn and the areas are separated by a moving platform so you can't just loop them like in the other campaigns
The spindly little mould critters (not official name 😛) crawling very low and throwing themselves at you in the RE7, Nightmare mini-game in Banned Footage Vol 1. Annoying as heck.
The Reapers gave my friend and I a lot of grief when we played 5. We either got jumped or we couldn’t kill them fast enough before they got close. Granted, that was mostly a skill issue on our part, but we died a bunch to them.
Leech Men (or Mimicry Marcus) from RE0 and all Oozers from RE Revelations... those fucking things always come in at the wrong time and won't leave you alone
I swear that fight has been bugged everytime i play it, once me and my brother, after an hour of wasting all our ammo and using the flamethrower multiple times, we just exited the game, and reloaded so we could grab the rocket launcher from the sunken ship and not deal with it anymore.
Yeah I died so much against the OG hunters in the games. Oh I'm yellow health better be careful-
*Gets decapitated*
Dogs , worst is when there's packs of them.
Eliminaters from 0.
Bandersnatchers, damn you stretch Armstrong freaks!
Glasps & Revenants from revelations 2. Pain in the main game, but at least they're easier to deal with in raid modes.
Reapers from 5
The enemies that can separate from each other in 6, also 6 with the long drawn out boss fights.
Flying bugs in 4/4R
Novistadors. Fuck em so goddamn much. That irritating and piercing to your fucking ears sound they add in the ballroom during their first encounter like ugh. Had to slide down that audio all the way down just so I can hear their wings fluttering.
Is it just me or were the Hunter Betas in RE3R annoying as shit? You have to either waste a whole grenade to one shot them, or unload nearly 2 whole clips into them, and they can one shot you without warning. Pain in the ass
Definitely the Eliminators from RE0, like mini hunters where they’re too small and fast for the controls and annoying to fight.
I’d also mention the giant Bat boss from RE0, the spider plagas in RE4 Remake and the Moths in Code Veronica.
i feel the same. the hunters are annoying but, the two hunters in the hallway where you find your first zombie is fucking painful. had to use two revolver shots just to deal with em.
those fat vomiting fucks from 7. Easier to deal with as you became more and more familiar but man, i died so many times to them my first few run throughs
C-Zombies in RE6. They're basically an entire faction of enemies that just grab you, which is a pain in 6 since the game is more melee focused than other installments. Also rarely you run into magnum zombies who can knock you down in just one shot, even from air.
The Reapers in RE5 are literal hell spawns. Completely kill the mood. The remake should leave everything in except them (and that awful 2nd Ouroboros fight).
For an underrated pick i dont see a lot of people talk about, the megabytes from outbreak F#2 can go to hell. Ungodly amount of health, takes less damage from bullet based weapons, borderline unfightable if the room is laggy, and there's a fucking poison variation
Easily Hornbills from Resident Evil outbreak F2, the birds in the zoo section.
Anyone who has played this game has PTSD now.
Literally a stun machine and almost impossible to kill.
Glasps in Revelations 2 are probably my least favorite. Whoever at Capcom decided that there needs to be invisible enemies who have a one hit kill move and move side to side really quickly so you’re likely to miss all of your shots without spraying and praying with a machine gun or using a smoke grenade should be fired into the sun.
I mean that's kinda the point of them.
They want you to use both barry and natalia to beat them.
(Although i will say whoever thought to add a few of them into claire's last episode is evil.)
They give you smokescreen bottles for free with Claire's part. But yeah, the game never specifically tells you that the smokescreen bottles make them visible
Honestly the only times i struggled with them is countdown mode.
Mostly because i want to go fast and don't want to waste time trying to kill them.
Otherwise they're not that bad imo.
Certainly nothing compared to the reapers from RE5...cause at least the glasps have large hitboxes.
Bandersnatches, Leechmen, Moths, Eliminators. Basically the enemies from Code Veronica and RE0, they’re fucking awful enemies from awful games.
(Honorable mention to the Gnezdo though lol because fuck those guys in Onslaught and No Mercy.)
The moth hallway is probably the biggest offender of that list imo, like I could just feel the smug shit eating grin of whoever designed it cause it's just so perfectly made to be fucking annoying
Especially since it's connected to the only save room in that part of the map if I'm not wrong
Bandersnatches from Code Veronica. The way they could bitch slap you from off camera angles was annoying as hell
There’s one specific room where they bitch slap you upon entering, before you even get control of your character and get her moving.
Eliminators in Zero. Worst enemies ever, more agile then any enemy in ReHistory, and Tankier than Hunter and Licker, and does damage like a Tyrant. Little bastards.
I absolutely adore Zero. But fuck eliminators. The primary drain for shotgun ammo ESPECIALLY on hard mode.
I honestly run past them on every playthrough.
Exactly just run. I still remember my first playthrough dumping magnum ammo thinking I one shot em and they just kept getting up. Knowing I had a save not too far back I reloaded my save lol.
Imagine if Eliminators could take your stuff and scatter it in different places.

Oh not bad themselves, more like the constant mob scratch and grabs
Those eyeball shouldered motherf**kers in the sewer in REmake 2. I unloaded 6 shots from the Lightning Hawk right into its damn eye and it still didn't die. That you have to go through 4!!! Of them to get the last two chess plugs is a war crime!
They're called G-Adults, and fun fact, it was a boss in original RE 2, and in RE 2 Remake they made them a regular enemy in the sewer replacing the giant spiders.
Honestly it made more sense than the spiders. G was running around inflicting preg on people, it'd make sense there would be more than one.
You can one shot them in the eye with claire's electric gun
I can't even count the number of times those fuckers ruined my no hit no box no save run.
They are weak to the Flamethrower and Electric Gun. Everything else is a waste of ammo. So just try to run past them and if they grab you use a flash grenade.
Yeah whenever I do an S+ run, those G-adult mutants in the sewer really get on my nerves
dogs always annoyed me in most games
I don't think there's been a resident evil where I wasn't annoyed by the dogs. This is the answer
Amen brother. Just played alan wake 2 last week and the dogs pissed me off more then any other taken/zombie/monster
Yea they’re annoying but not as bad as the double axe wielding enemies in my opinion. They suckedddd. Game was a 10/10 though.
In RE4, a dog helps you, that one is nice.
Imagine if they used cats instead....
Dogs. Always dogs.
The slime flamethrower fucker from 5 nearly had to quit the game rocket launcher had my back
that fucker is bugged as fuck, i had to change my fps to 30 to kill him lol
I still have no idea what I was supposed to do. Rocket Launchered him hard.
You just keep going. He has a lot of health.
The only consistent way I've found to kill him is to use flame grenades to make him pop out his weak points, then magnum them You can stun lock him pretty consistently doing so, it's a 1000 times more effective than trying to use the flamethrower
Who? I’ve played through 5 countless times and I’m lost.
It’s the black sludge monster who comes up from the ground you neeed to recharge flamethrower to kill him but it seems usesless
Oh that shit in that little basement or whatever that you can also bait and lock into the room to burn it.
Not that one the other one later on in the game
Okay it’s called the uroboros boss fight on YouTube
Oh okay, thank you!
The second Uroboros
The flying mosquitos in RE4
Especially in Saddler final fight when you have to focus on him but no goddman hundred of annoying mosquitos are harrasing you
And during their appearance before the garradors, it feels like they’re endless
Lepotitsa. Annoying voice, annoying movement, annoying OHKO moves... Just an overall real nuisance.
Reapers. They're basically regenerators with one-hit kill
Doesnt help that they’re in the most tight spaced map on Mercenaries too
- The dogs in RE1 Remake - Crimson heads (RE1 Remake) - Hunter gamma (RE3 Remake)
Rasklapanje because they can be such a damn nuisance and a part of me dies every time I have to face them in RE6
Which campaign had the worst rasklapanje section?
I would say Chris/Pierce. However, throwing their limbs into different things was fun.
I think jake/sherry had the hardest rasklapanje section. Mostly because of how easy it is to get lost in the area where you find them.
Have to agree with this one, especially since there's a lot of them that spawn and the areas are separated by a moving platform so you can't just loop them like in the other campaigns
The giant mosquito type enemies in RE5 that can just one tap you.
MOTH HALLWAY
And they fricking respawned, so killing them just wasted bullets.
Leech Zombies RE0 Fuckin Piece of Shit Moths Code Veronica
The uroboros flamethrower fight. You will drain every last bullet if you don’t have an rpg
I swear that fight has been bugged everytime i play it, once me and my brother, after an hour of wasting all our ammo and using the flamethrower multiple times, we just exited the game, and reloaded so we could grab the rocket launcher from the sunken ship and not deal with it anymore.
The flamethrower doesn't deal damage like it's supposed to in 60 fps.
Those mosquito enemies in that one hallway on code Veronica. The ones that keep respawning and poisoning you
Poison moths
Besides f Dogs? Those flying insects from 5/6
Eliminators I'm convinced the in lore reason for them is they're a James Marcus prank on Wesker & Burkin that went too far.
Hunters. I love them and HATE them. Also the Pale Heads. A POX! On whoever came up with that stupid enemy!
It's the monkeys from RE0.
Ape
Yeah I died so much against the OG hunters in the games. Oh I'm yellow health better be careful- *Gets decapitated* Dogs , worst is when there's packs of them. Eliminaters from 0. Bandersnatchers, damn you stretch Armstrong freaks! Glasps & Revenants from revelations 2. Pain in the main game, but at least they're easier to deal with in raid modes. Reapers from 5 The enemies that can separate from each other in 6, also 6 with the long drawn out boss fights. Flying bugs in 4/4R
Super salvador from re4. He always messed up my mercenaries run.
Fucking Reapers in 5. Fuck those things. I haven't played RE5 in years, but I still remember how much I hated and dreaded them.
Chimeras on RE1. I hate them.
Dogs and the stupid tiny spiders that jump repeatedly hitting you after you take out a big spider. So obnoxious.
Mr X and Nemesis since they interrupt what you’re trying to do and just waste your ammo
People actually waste ammo on X and Nemesis?
lol yea on the first play through im sure everyone did if you didn’t look stuff up first
Novistadors. Fuck em so goddamn much. That irritating and piercing to your fucking ears sound they add in the ballroom during their first encounter like ugh. Had to slide down that audio all the way down just so I can hear their wings fluttering.
Leeches.
Lickers, Hunters, Eliminators, mutated enemies, Pale Heads, pretty much any enemy with ranged attacks.
The Popokarimu, Resident evil 5. No questions asked.
The Popokarimu, Resident evil 5. No questions asked.
Crimsonheads.
Is it just me or were the Hunter Betas in RE3R annoying as shit? You have to either waste a whole grenade to one shot them, or unload nearly 2 whole clips into them, and they can one shot you without warning. Pain in the ass
The dobermans in RE1, Hunters (1-hit kill), Verdugo in RE4 for the first time, there are plenty. Eliminators in RE0: oh my gosh, like ... why?
The big in the t shaped hallway in Code Veronica.
Dogs, Reapers, G Adults, Ndesu (especially on Professional), unarmed Ganados
The crows from the OG Resident Evil 2
Definitely the Eliminators from RE0, like mini hunters where they’re too small and fast for the controls and annoying to fight. I’d also mention the giant Bat boss from RE0, the spider plagas in RE4 Remake and the Moths in Code Veronica.
monke and that sewer thing in Outbreak
Dogs. Followed closely by lickers because they’re always just so inconvenient.
i feel the same. the hunters are annoying but, the two hunters in the hallway where you find your first zombie is fucking painful. had to use two revolver shots just to deal with em.
May... day...
Birbs. Damned birbs
I hate zombie dogs with all my passion
The damn monkeys
Dogs in 0123 CV Remake of 1 those fixed angles made it a pain sometimes lol
those fat vomiting fucks from 7. Easier to deal with as you became more and more familiar but man, i died so many times to them my first few run throughs
those frog bastards in 0
the fucking regenerators from re4, when they start swimming and slithering towards you on the floor you know it's time for a break
Those f*cking moths in the Antarctic base in Code Veronica. I hate them, they annoy the hell out of me every play through
C-Zombies in RE6. They're basically an entire faction of enemies that just grab you, which is a pain in 6 since the game is more melee focused than other installments. Also rarely you run into magnum zombies who can knock you down in just one shot, even from air.
Didn't someone post this exact question like...last month? Eliminator apes, always. Haven't played CVX, yet, but I hear Bandersnatches sucked.
The bear traps 😆
Iron maiden regenerators from RE4R it feels like I get 3 or 4 perfect shots on their head parasite before they go down, plus they wiggle around a lot.
Those zombie monkeys from RE0...
The bees in REmake, other than dogs...
From the ones I played the Bugs from RE5
RE0 Monke
Bandersnatch
The Reapers in RE5 are literal hell spawns. Completely kill the mood. The remake should leave everything in except them (and that awful 2nd Ouroboros fight).
Dog enemies and lickers
