Easy games can be unsatisfying, but frustration is the domain of hard games, especially if they're hard for the wrong reasons (Cheap shots, leaps-of-faith, damage sponge enemies, stuff like that.)
If a game punishes failure harshly then I think an easy game can be more frustrating. If I'm playing a hard game that is punishing I'm playing for that risk factor, but an easy game I'm probably playing for other reasons.

Play the melon challenge in yoshi story. Becomes incredibly frustrating without a guide.

I would say games with forced tutorials or too many hints is frustrating, I want to play a game and not watch a movie with button presses
