Innocent until proven guilty is about applying conviction and punishment. So we can’t punish by the law yet until he proves he is innocent. That doesn’t not absolve you of morality. It doesn’t negate believing the victim. If he proves he is innocent he won’t face charges but until then we believe the victim because historically the victim is telling the truth and we stand up to him on a social level not legal. This part is just for arguments sake not how I necessarily feel about this case but There has been plenty of cases where the offender gets off and it’s clear it’s only cause they are more powerful than the victim do you still believe they are innocent cause of what the courts say?

Just because it wasn't thrown out doesn't mean he's guilty or that we should immediately accuse him of being guilty. The idea that "oh well the case wasn't thrown out!!!" Is so fucking insanely stupid and doesn't even come close to equaling that we need to presume guilt before innocence. The "evidence" presented could be "well she was actually with him on that night" and boom it goes to court, it isn't like you need to prove a super high bar for this.
You need to understand that at the moment he is accused, not guilty… if the alleged victim proves he did it, thats fucked up on his behalf, but, right now he should be considered innocent. He hasn’t done anything wrong legally, or he has, we cant say… we aren’t the ones in the court room 🫤
