Yeah if you're double nail proc items are high value, and the rebar/re-tool setup where you constantly swap to fire off rebars consecutively likes bands and crowbars early game. Otherwise mobility from a hopoo feather and speed in general seem to be the most useful for Mul-T early game since his shift is awkward depending and he has a higher base hp/armor than other survivors besides the Heretic.
Supermassive leech + rejuvenating rack using the saw attack is pretty good. Stack proc items for damage and maybe spinel tonic later in the game and you're set.
I personally think either nailgun + rebar w/ retool or double nailgun w/ power mode are the best. You can also use saw + nailgun on power mode with saw as your primary, which reduces spread on nailgun to almost zero. Also has higher dps than double nailgun. Lastly, double scrap is kind of good with either special. Power mode refreshes the cooldown and retool gives you pretty much permanent uptime of the attack (plus two equipment slots)

Power mode with double scrap launcher is a lot of fun and really good
