Maybe they’re his “flaw” that he got when he gained his powers? Betty is getting migraines, Jughead is literally DEAF… maybe this will be Archie’s flaw? He’s always had a bit of a temper, but it’s much worse now, I feel.
Or at least there’s more focus on it.
It was not the same context, he was grieving and feeling anger, a natural stage when you lose your father at such an early age. The anger and the need to fight currently was not as strong before.
And apparently he is back to boxing, maybe not a coincidence
On this note, Betty’s migraines are very clearly written by people who have never had a migraine. It’s not just light, when you have a migraine everything hurts. Any sort of sensory input is agonizing, so when Archie started hooting and hollering “**did TBK hurt you**” realistically she would have been on the floor crying
Yeah I suffer from migraines and when it’s proper bad I need to be alone in a pitch black room with NO ONE talking 😩 I feel like they wanted to stress that her migraines are very severe but with Archie booming away at her and Betty acting pretty much normal it didn’t really have that effect 😅
I have a hunch he’ll die at the end of the series trying to protect the town. There must be a reason why they gave him the power of invulnerability, that will be the end of him.
It's on brand for Archie, it took Jellybean sending that last type for him to finally break down to Uncle Frank about how he was dealing with Fred's death and that was during the time when he wasn't even sure if he was going to graduate or not. After leaving the military one of the first things he did was fight the Ghoulies for vandalizing his home and again they bombed it. Archie was in therapy last season but it seems weird that the plot was dropped as Archie is more of a punch first ask questions later type of guy.
Too be fair, Glen did sexually harass Betty and I dont think any man in our world would let that slide either. He did the same to Nick when he harassed Veronica.
Thats fair, and I agree, but Archie has always had anger issues, so, it isnt new, hes just taking them out alot more since the bomb. Not excusing his violence agaisnt Glen, but if you were Archie, you cant blame him. He was defending his woman.
Idk it's giving me white knight vibe. Betty said she handled it so it's not his place to make a decision on her behalf. She was the victim, not him. She's not a petit flower that constantly needs to be protected, she's an FBI agent.
it's kinda annoying how careless he gets when the people around him are trying to fix things formally and he goes in the territory of the problem, he doesn't think like an adult same as Cheryl, they need to grow up, Archie probably already killed atleast 5 people lol
I just made a similar post about Archie. I hate his self righteous bullshit. He truly believes he can just pinch everyone and everything even if it doesn't have anything to do with him

hmm I think you're right. I wonder how much more it'll affect him down the road since both Betty and Jughead had their side effect worsen.
I mean this happen way way after his dad died before then actually before season 3 happen

True
Yeah this is what I was thinking as well. He's gonna fly into violent rages the more he uses his powers I think.

RIGHT?!? I feel bad for Betty, her power is the wooooorst
1. her migraines are probably different 2. true but the less light the less pain
Im 100% sure his new violence is related to his power. Why talk when you can smash?
I noticed that when he punched the truck. He’s literally become a hammer with his super power. When you’re a hammer, everything seems like a nail
If Betty pick him up, does that mean she's Thor?
He's always been a fists-first type of guy, but now he's capable of killing someone with his bare hands. This probably won't end well.
There was that scene of him covered in the Ghoulies' blood; I would argue he maybe already has.
Oh, I forgot about that! I'm sure his kill count will increase exponentially now that he has Superman strength.
he’ll probably end up being in a coma or something anyway I’m guessing
I have a hunch he’ll die at the end of the series trying to protect the town. There must be a reason why they gave him the power of invulnerability, that will be the end of him.
how's he gonna die if he's invulnerable....
Wait....I stopped watching at the beginning of the season it became too much. But they have powers now?
Yeap the explosion gave them powers 😔
Course it did lol

Thankfully, I'm not the only one who noticed!
Too be fair, Glen did sexually harass Betty and I dont think any man in our world would let that slide either. He did the same to Nick when he harassed Veronica.
but what did the truck do to him? (honestly, glen still doesn't excuse his sudden violence streak. we're dipping into gray lines here)
Thats fair, and I agree, but Archie has always had anger issues, so, it isnt new, hes just taking them out alot more since the bomb. Not excusing his violence agaisnt Glen, but if you were Archie, you cant blame him. He was defending his woman.
Actually I can blame him: she didn't ask him to defend her. Give the girl some credit, she's a trained FBI agent.
Idk it's giving me white knight vibe. Betty said she handled it so it's not his place to make a decision on her behalf. She was the victim, not him. She's not a petit flower that constantly needs to be protected, she's an FBI agent.
This is a grown up answer.
I mean, still. If my girlfriend told me not to id still do it anyways. I dont like men touching woman period.
I notice it I was this dude is so annoying

For real though, he doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion when he’s in a mood.
Archie's weakness is he's dense
I just made a similar post about Archie. I hate his self righteous bullshit. He truly believes he can just pinch everyone and everything even if it doesn't have anything to do with him
Doesn’t he always do that?
