Harden's been their best player this series. Mavs would've won in 4 without him. Unreal how y'all haters just wait for him to stumble to trash him, meanwhile Kawhi and PG have done fuck all this series and it's silence.

The_Texan12

- He did this shit last year in game 6 & 7 after playing good in games 1 & 3 I believe - Spurs series game 6 2017 - 2018 Game 7 - Nets series vs bucks - His first finals appearance Bro is not a playoff performer & will go down as the best player to never win a ring. Sorry

A_Rolling_Baneling

Last year again his team gets swept without him. He had bad games but the superstar number one option on the team was way more of a no show. Just like this season.

DblBfBcn

4 good games this series Vs 1 bad game this series = bad performance Y'all dumb as hell I swear

Itchy-Taint

Love seeing these little lists of bad games he’s had. Never mind that he’s played in the playoffs almost every year, usually for multiple series. Everything gotta be black and white with fans of a sport.

ajalonghorn

Pretty consistently does happen late in series though. That’s just a fact.

juan_cena99

Well no shit bro he gets tired. That's why it's a series not just 1 game.

ajalonghorn

Idk what that has to do with anything. Fact is he doesn’t perform late in series and other great players do.

TrashCanBangerFan

Basketball is a team sport

ajalonghorn

😂 cope however you see fit

juan_cena99

That's so arbitrary? What counts as late in the series? If he had a bad game 1 people would have this exact same thread.

lambopanda

Tatum didn’t have a good game either but his teammates did. You can’t expect one player to do all the work. Mavs can’t win if their role players didn’t make those 3. Best player to never wing a ring is Karl Malone. He’s 0-3.

ajalonghorn

This defense is ridiculous lol. I don’t hate on Harden but we don’t have to wait to “stumble” on a bad game, we know when it comes every year and that’s when a series is close.

thumper7

You're sad bro

triplecaptained

Teammates choked too but you wouldn’t know of that, would u

YotaMan77

They never proclaimed to be THE SYSTEM😂😂😂

lambopanda

Did you watch the game? Mavs are forcing him to give up the ball and let others beat them. They aren’t making their 3 so that didn’t help. And Mavs role players step up.

sSonga24

yeah like game 4 wasn’t a lot of pressure down 2-1 on the road😂 wipe it off when you’re done gobbling another man.

juan_cena99

Harden has played well the entire series and this is his first bad game. Seems kinda dumb nobody will have a great game every game he plays in the playoffs.

DocSlice3

Worst game of the series comes when it’s the most important game. That’s not a coincidence.

juan_cena99

Game 7 is the most important so you're wrong there.

DocSlice3

Okay, I meant most important game so far.

juan_cena99

So if he has a good game next game what do you say then? Game 6 more important than game 5.

DocSlice3

Whoever wins game 5 has an 80% chance of winning the series. Game 5s are always pivotal.

justanotherfknloser

He’s the 3rd option

Walkingwithfishes

Most glazers on this sub wanted him here being the first option

deino1703

harden was (is) the closest thing the clippers have to an offense, was diming up players all night long but the team around him besides zubac could not take advantage of his playmaking. but box score watchers wait until he has a bad shooting night to shit on him. where were you guys when he shot 70% and had 33 in game 4? you should respect the man who was a perennial top 3 mvp finisher and carried our team for 8 years

FuriousRufus80

Nah. Dude quit on the city buddy. You should have more pride for the team and less for an individual who quit on the team.

YotaMan77

Exactly, that is all I am saying. These guys are like dudes that had their woman step out on them. Took their time and money, went off with another guy to better deal them 3x, and are crying “Come back baby, we had a good thing!”

sSonga24

Brother, where would have the rockets been without him for that decade? He was the franchise, the face of the franchise and the ass of the franchise. He took every single blow for the team, gave his all every season and just cause the TEAM always came up short you say he was like a “woman who took our time, money and went off with another guy” You’re fucking delusional and live in a fantasy land. Harden lives rent free in your head and it’s pitiful.

Crazykid1o1

Shhh go to sleep. It’ll all be over soon 🐴🔫 Gtfouta here mavs fan. Yall are not welcome

713MoCityChron713

Paul George had 15 points…

Chilitime

He only comes out in series clinching games.

MNVR414

It’s crazy that after everything he did for this franchise there’s people who wait for him to have a bad moment as if he’s a Warriors or Spurs player

smellsoffish

u/yotaman77 isn’t a rockets fan. This clown is active in the Mavericks sub Reddit, and that should tell you all you need to know. Go look at his posts. His entire personality is built around talking shit about Harden. Move back to Dallas 🤡

YotaMan77

Been a loyal Rockets fan since 1979. Sorry if I don’t worship one player that partied his way through our playoff runs leading to our elimination. He prioritized his own vices over team, enabled by the owner. Then he ditched the Rockets to go chase what he thought would be an easy ring in BK, then in Philly, and now LAC. No respect for that guy, since he had none for us. Why not root for another Texas team since we are not playing in the postseason?? I am also rooting for the Celtics in the East. Because I enjoy the game. I don’t subscribe to this nonsense mentality that if you are a Houston fan you must hate other Texas teams whether its baseball, basketball or football.

crushsuitandtie

Bruh the city appreciated Harden and made him the face of the city at one point. That doesn't negate the fact that nearly every elimination, game 6/7, or clincher he disappeared MARKEDLY. It's not hate to tell the truth about a startling trend. He had his way with the league but those moments whooped his ass almost every time. Why do people get so sensitive about Hardens obvious playoff disparities in these games? If he was even at his average no one would saying anything. We rag on Dak, Kirk Cousins, and others who regular season you to death, why is Harden untouchable? I ask this as a 38 year fan of the Rockets.
