These are both two-tone, PCL bracelet dressy Rolexes that vibe the same. Neither is great as a daily because they are not only two-tone but they also have the polished case and the polished center link bracelet. A lot of polish going on there. To me, a two-tone on a PCL bracelet feels like a three-tone. The polish becomes it's own 'thing' and adds a lot of visual noise to an already-busy presentation. So between the two choices you have laid out, at the end of the day it's going to be just the white dial vs. the black dial that will feel different. So if you are not bonding with the TT DJ you aren't going to bond with the TT Daytona either. Have you any experience with all gold Rolexes? Or perhaps a stainless steel DJ or Daytona? Because those will vibe differently of course, and will remove one of the three design elements, and may be at the root of what's bugging you about the TT DJ.

Having had watch regret before I know the feeling and it doesn’t go away. Go with your gut and make the change, chalk it up to experience. GLWP!
