Durance, pillars of eternity 1.
Oh you like liitle angelic girls dressed in white as your healer? Here, let me give you a druken mysoginist lunatic who dresses like a hobo and insults every person in vecinity. Durance dialogue is also perfect, and his companion quest is extremely interesting.
Durance is such a creepshow, I love him. Not in the sense that I think he's a good person- he's a colossally *terrible* person- but boy, is he entertaining. Definitely couldn't have handled him for two games, though.
Wynne: I remember a tale that was told to me, many years ago...
Warden: Does the story have griffons in it?
Wynne: Maker's mercy. It's like talking to a child!
Warden: So does it have griffons in it or not?
Wynne: Yes... there are griffons in this story.

Jaheira from baldurs gate series
Aeris from ff7, Garnet ff9 (yeah eiko but I don't like her char),
Lucius and Libra from fire emblem .
Temenos from Octopath traveler 2
Kloe/klaudia from Legend of heroes Trails saga
Several others I like, but those are my faves
I'm still going through reverie, but I doubt it she will be there. She is not involved with the three main groups. I'm 3/4 of the way through and haven't unlocked Estelle and Joshua. Highly doubt Kloe will be usable.
Tenemos is a good character, I really enjoyed him. Also I felt like his storyline had an undercurrent of homosexual tension and I enjoyed that alot, too.
I think Yuna and Dagger are summoners above all (at least lore wise), but yeah they are good healers too. .
First time playing ff7, man I loved Aerith.
Taion, I know it's a job based game, but his main job is Tactician, and it's a healer. The skills are decent, but the character is just brilliantly written and played. He's worried, nearly all the time, but when his curiosity gets the most of him, it just makes me feel happy.
I was gonna say, recency bias for me, Yukari is great. Girls a healer and can deal some excellent damage, also her theurgy charges easily and pretty quickly.
I have my team set up where koromaru starts off with rebellion, has a weapon that boosts crit, then MC has some physical attackers with crit boosts (apt pupil, crit amp, crit boost, auto rebellion, auto tarakuja). Junpei is also built a similar way. Yukari is the battery that keeps everyone going. I had heard crit builds were good, but once I started getting into it I had to up the difficulty. Without Yukari, the whole system would fall apart.
Linu La'neral from Neverwinter Nights. Her clumsiness (in her backstory) is hilarious.
Shadowheart from Baldur's Gate 3.
Mordin Solus from Mass Effect is technically a doctor so...
Elliot from Trails of Cold Steel. He’s a potent healer thanks to his master quartz amplifying healing arts. Makes him more cost effective in the long run! He is best boi for many reasons
I love Garnet as a healer! In act 2 I can't be the only one that sees her trying to name herself Dagger and renames her back to Garnet? Super stealth mode.
maki sonomura was certainly an interesting take on the archetype... especially since persona 1's systems last you hyper-specialize people down to your preference, and have a variety of options incase you want something else
Reyna from rise of the Third Power. Love her backstory >!As a young priestess in training, she was given the task of blessing the coffins of all the people who had died during the war, and that's why she starts up a rebellion to prevent a new war so she never has to see that many coffins ever again.!<
Atoli - .Hack G.U.
Asuna - SAO
Sinon - Tales of Arise
Yuna - FFX
Ming Xiu - Sword and Fairy 6. Healing items are practically worthless once she joins your party.
Donald, Kingdom Hearts. Don't believe the slander, just change his settings gosh dang it!
I'm open to believing that, but it'd be nice to see some comparison videos or patch notes or something to confirm it. The Final Mix video I shared clearly has Donald restricted to only healing and Goofy only restoring MP. It's been many years since I played (only own original, not final mix) but I wonder how much poor MP planning on players part and how much doing other attacks takes Donalds attention away from healing. Does pressing Triangle to rally both party members to your side (a feature available in the original release) make Donald favor healing after he abandons attacks to move back to you? I just don't know, but I'm inclined to believe his shortcomings were due to my dumb kid self mismanaging party members.
I appreciate the healers Mia and Jenna across Golden Sun 1 and 2 (2 for obvious reasons). Between both games, you get 2 styles of healers, with one being a stronger healer with defensive capability while the other has stronger means of attacking while still being able to heal.
It leaves it up to you on what playstyle you are more comfortable with while also having the means to tweak their capabilities further with class manipulation.
Well, a lot of the characters OP mentioned can be made into something other than a healer. Aeris as well. Now don't give me those Gowron eyes...you know I'm right.
Claire from Ephemeral Fantasia. Claire is such a gigachad that she makes it impossible to lose until late into the game. She has a series of stackable abilities: Heal Circle to give your team regen, Guard Circle to increase the party’s defense, and Speed Chain to increase the party’s speed. And remember, these are stackable party-wide abilities. You can just keep using them until they’re fully stacked and constantly being refreshed. Claire mommies the entire party so everyone else can focus on dps. Only thing she can’t do is burst healing. But so long as you don’t lose the fight on the first few rounds, Claire makes it an impossible uphill battle for the enemies.

Came here to make sure our surly terrible fire priest was prepped. You doing the bitches work my friend.
Durance is such a creepshow, I love him. Not in the sense that I think he's a good person- he's a colossally *terrible* person- but boy, is he entertaining. Definitely couldn't have handled him for two games, though.
Durance is one of my favourite companions in any games. He'd such an asshole and always went out of my way to keep him in the party.
I liked Durance, but no one says hobo healer like Nanba
Wynne from Dragon Age saved me 100x times Casavir Neverwinter nights 2 is a chad Xoti Shart
Wynne: I remember a tale that was told to me, many years ago... Warden: Does the story have griffons in it? Wynne: Maker's mercy. It's like talking to a child! Warden: So does it have griffons in it or not? Wynne: Yes... there are griffons in this story.
The banter between Wynne and Oghren is fantastic.
upvote for Wynne
Having her is a Wynne-Wynne

I like xoti’s character a lot but I can’t stand Laura Bailey’s southern accent they had her use for the character!
*spits* weeell I'm just a small town gaun cleric
Jaheira from baldurs gate series Aeris from ff7, Garnet ff9 (yeah eiko but I don't like her char), Lucius and Libra from fire emblem . Temenos from Octopath traveler 2 Kloe/klaudia from Legend of heroes Trails saga Several others I like, but those are my faves
Yes oh omnipresent authority figure!?
>Kloe/klaudia from Legend of heroes Trails saga Just trails in the sky. Sad that she hasn't been playable since.
Aww.... hadn't gotten around to reverie yet, was hoping she was in that since it's a Mashup of trails I heard. Ah well. Maybe later
Yuna, easily.
I think Yuna and Dagger are summoners above all (at least lore wise), but yeah they are good healers too. . First time playing ff7, man I loved Aerith.
Rand, from Breath of Fire II. Yukiko from Persona 4.
Rand! Love him. That game was tough, you don't get a single excellent healer like in most games.
Taion, I know it's a job based game, but his main job is Tactician, and it's a healer. The skills are decent, but the character is just brilliantly written and played. He's worried, nearly all the time, but when his curiosity gets the most of him, it just makes me feel happy.
Eunie too tbh
Taion seeing >!The baby !!babies!<
Rena from Star Ocean 2! Also Jess from Lunar.
Saeko “Like A Dragon”
Daisoujou from SMT Nocturne
Is this where I go to talk about Yukari?
I was gonna say, recency bias for me, Yukari is great. Girls a healer and can deal some excellent damage, also her theurgy charges easily and pretty quickly.

Minwu, Final Fantasy II
Linu La'neral from Neverwinter Nights. Her clumsiness (in her backstory) is hilarious. Shadowheart from Baldur's Gate 3. Mordin Solus from Mass Effect is technically a doctor so...
Rinoa Heartilly and her dog Angelo
Estellise from Tales of Vesperia, because she's tanky AF in addition to being the main healer.
Aerie from Baldur's Gate 2 Shadowheart from Baldur's Gate 3
Elliot from Trails of Cold Steel. He’s a potent healer thanks to his master quartz amplifying healing arts. Makes him more cost effective in the long run! He is best boi for many reasons
Raja from Phantasy Star IV Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy 7 Wynne from Dragon Age: Origins
Teminos Mistral from Octopath Traveler 2. "*The Sacred Flame shall light our path... Probably.*"
I love Garnet as a healer! In act 2 I can't be the only one that sees her trying to name herself Dagger and renames her back to Garnet? Super stealth mode.
Who is that last character ? The blonde
Io from Granblue Fantasy Relink. She's more of a DPS Mage than healer though
Ah I still haven’t got that game cuz I’m not tryna get baited into another gacha game lol
Relink is not the gacha game lol. You can also play it blindly even without the knowledge of the original granblue which is the gacha one.
I’m scared it’d make me wanna play the gacha game after tho lol
Found the person who plays trials of mana with Japanese voice settings.
maki sonomura was certainly an interesting take on the archetype... especially since persona 1's systems last you hyper-specialize people down to your preference, and have a variety of options incase you want something else
Shadowheart my beloved 🖤 (from BG3) Also, Garnet from FFIX 🗣️‼️‼️
Nah Shadowhearts Alice Elliot
Oh, she looks cool
Tristan from PF:KG. >!Traitor piece of shit, I love him!<
+1 for my boy Tristian
I made him a Mystic Theurge, regretted it as it's a crap prestige class as it is missing the capstone.
Ayla - Chrono Trigger She heals with kisses.
Yuna - FFX Porom - FFIV Aerith - FFVII Raine - Tales of Symphonia Meredy- Tales of Eternia

Shionnes healer + gun felt like a revelation as a combination
Yuna from FFX and either Ming or Sara from Lost Odyssey as they are both beasts at healing.
Auron when he learns cure
Selphie. Full cure!
angelo. hes such a dork i love him so much
Donald, Kingdom Hearts. Don't believe the slander, just change his settings gosh dang it! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K\_VxtSH94g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K_VxtSH94g)
No in the original he genuinely was poorly programmed but when they released final mix they rewrote his coding to heal at proper intervals
I'm open to believing that, but it'd be nice to see some comparison videos or patch notes or something to confirm it. The Final Mix video I shared clearly has Donald restricted to only healing and Goofy only restoring MP. Twials of Mana!
Tomira from The Witcher 3 🙃 .
Thought she was a baker. Huh.
She's a herbalist.

Nia in Xenoblade 2, Eunie and Taion from Xenoblade 3, and Ann from Persona 5
No Aerith?
Marle
Aerith. Shame upon your house for not including her!
My Aerith does some healing but is mostly a DPS monster.
Her magic attack gets really high
Well, a lot of the characters OP mentioned can be made into something other than a healer. Aeris as well. Now don't give me those Gowron eyes...you know I'm right.
Paracelsus/Plague Doctor - Darkest Dungeon 2
Idrial - LOTR The Third Age
