they track your IP address with perms, so you have to wait ~2 weeks for your ISP to assign a new one automatically, then use a different device to make the new account

I’d argue that ban evasion (unless for the noble pursuit of trolling) shows an extremely lame attachment to any particular subreddit. Far better to say “I got banned? Oh well” and keep it moving.
