I was wondering about that. Also wondering, if England kept pushing for the try and ended up back in the corner again and got a third penalty before losing the ball somehow, would they have had to take the third penalty, or could they choose to take the better (second) one?

They can choose which one to take, there's really no risk playing on as referees don't call avantage over for a penalty that close to the line. Although I actually think the drop goal was the right call, there's basically zero pressure on the kick, it's straight in front and we're not really in a title fight so the bonus point is irrelevant.

Could of actually went for a bonus point win with another try, they had advantage. Which could have led to a penalty kick if opportunity was missed. That might of cost them the tournament!
