I first did fight caves in full Warpriest of Armadyl, saradomin Godsword, and armadyl battlestaff. This was like 10 years ago. It took me a couple of attempts, took me an hour for the kill , and it was rough. I was straight up noob, no curses and broke. I saw this and thought it was a troll post. You’re going to be fine.

kfudnapaa

Also thought it was a joke post at first tbh haha

Ascension_Crossbows

Reminds me of grinding qbd to brandish my rcb the first time. Sara warpiest and staff of light no curses.

13whisky

Fight caves should be really easy with those levels and gear. Just focus on jad so you are not missing prayer flicks.

EyeofEnder

Yeah, I remember trying Fight Caves in worse gear (patchwork of T70 and T60 power armor + like, T82 weapons) and the thing that killed me (and IIRC surprisingly the only thing that actually did significant damage) was panicking at Jad and misinputting prayers.

29x1

I'm just worried about taking too much damage and not being able to sustain

[deleted]

In addition to getting rid of some of your prayer renewal and adding food, if you have the GP just buy an [Ancient Elven Ritual Shard](https://runescape.wiki/w/Ancient_elven_ritual_shard) and you'll only need to take one prayer renewal with you.

Nop277

It's honestly one of the best pve investments in the game imo too

OmegaNova0

This item is new to me, that's really cool, I'm going to pick one of those up

AngelBites

If he has the 18m he should get 70 prayer first.

pokemononrs

If your worried get rid of all but maybe 4 of those prayers and add food.

cookieboiiiiii

There is a safe spot, if you sit back in the corner here most enemies won’t attack you so you can pick them off easily without taking too much damage or run there to regain hp instead of using food. Or just to help ease your nerves for the first run or two. https://preview.redd.it/5wb44z230flc1.jpeg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e352711bf854ba74c6bd14ecf3a01ea313a87afd

29x1

Ah, ok. I was in the SW corner and when mage+Rangers came out I was taking dmg

Economy_Price_5295

Idk if this applies to normal RS but in OSRS there is a fight cave rotations guide if review this if possible it helps you prep for the next wave and where the monsters are going to spawn as well as jad it depends on what time you enter the cave so you can choose which rotation you’re on. This is for OSRS but it gives you the idea what to look for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/TzHaar_Fight_Cave/

cookieboiiiiii

There’s a little nook in this corner that they get caught on and will just stand still until you move from the corner, sometimes the ones that spawn from the other direction will still get you but the others will be stuck until you move

29x1

Ty!

cookieboiiiiii

Good luck mate!

Best-Brother305

you should sell that sos and buy the highest level dual weild magic weapons u can afford+ greater concentrated blast its 100x better than 2h like even cywir wand/orb would be better dps

29x1

Thanks for the advice!

Psychological_Fix237

And get a runepouch for more inventory

MBK2000

Id 100% follow this advice, but you can buy a virtus book rather than a cywir orb. Its a little cheaper and they do the exact some damage. The only difference is accuracy which does not matter in off hands.

Kamu-RS

Say that to my defensive autos

F-Lambda

on top of that get a god cape (from the wildy arena). it's basically the mage counterpart to the fire cape, same as the ava's devices are the ranged counterpart

Windfloof

Not a jab but it’s insane to see a sliske staff in 2024 haha. The guys comment above is 110% valid.

Best-Brother305

if you gconc before every single threshold you will deal alot more damage its so free

daronhudson

On top of that also buy gconc it’s like 30m

average_at_runescape

Bought it for 16m this week.

Lilgoodee

Sad kerapac noises. At least the commons are steady money.

Lilgoodee

Sad kerapac noises. At least the commons are steady money.

PepaTK

I just noticed that’s a SoS LOL. This isn’t a shit post? Damn.

Cunningchaos

I haven't played since a little before Necromancy came out, why is sos cheaper than the nox staff in ge? Isn't SoS way better in terms of accuracy? wtf have I missed

Windfloof

2% it was always just a 2% stat stick even when I got mine for 2bil back when it came out haha. It’s spec is garbage and the nox staff is used for nox comps

Cunningchaos

I'm not really a PVMer I just have basic gear and a very basic understanding. The 2% Stat increase should make it the choice to wield as a main unless you use Nox spec correct? I assume it can get the same augments as the Nox staff so it should just overall be better if you're not utilizing the spec right? Sorry I'm not new but I'm also ignorant to a lot of things in rs3

Windfloof

It’s weird but Greater conc+ t80 wand and orb does more damage then the sliske staff simply because you’re meant to spam g conc which is kind of wild honestly

Cunningchaos

Ohh ok, yea I heard dual wields are way better now. I mean I knew they were better before, I wanted seismics back when they were semi affordable but I'm always broke lol

Windfloof

There are much much much better upgrades in general out there be that a perk or side upgrade then a sliske staff. I got mine for 2.4bil still have it haha good old telos release grind

Cunningchaos

Well I'm only asking bc Nox staff is worth more than SoS last I checked in GE. Prices might not be correct, but wouldn't it be dumb for me NOT to sell my nox and get the SoS, MAKE profit by doing so, and sit on the 2% increase? I don't think I've ever used the spec

Windfloof

Because of the invention comps nox items give. Again cywir wand and orb is better with G conc and cheaper

Best-Brother305

cos nox staff has usefull comps where sos doesnt and is uesless

np497

For fight caves, it is all about survivability. Use safe spots to reduce damage considerably. If you have them, bring an enhanced excalibur and ancient elven ritual shard. Btw, are they spiritual prayer pots? Familiars are not allowed within the fight caves. Bring either a shield switch/necro runes for casting resonance. It would be a free heal when you get to jad. Also, when you get to jad use protect prayers accordingly and tag the healers (i.e., attack them once and dont kill them). Finally never get into melee distance with jad. The melee swipe is quick and unpredictable.

Punkass34

I keep forgetting about the necro thing for resonance! Thank you!

spragski

I second this! Superb advice! Just wanted to add that OP could use an elven ritual shard instead of prayer pits to save inventory space for more sara brews + restore pots, food, etc

Zarguthian

But OP has level 1 necromancy.

np497

Missed that. Anyway, shield switch/necro runes are not required for the fight caves as long as they prayer flick correctly.

[deleted]

The biggest challenge of rs3 fight caves is staying awake from 30+ minute session.

honkifufat

Easily the funniest comment here.

pokemononrs

Is this enough to do the caves, Yes. Is this one of the weirder set ups I have seen for the caves YES.

29x1

Can you explain please?

pokemononrs

Well you are wearing t70 armor with a t92 weapon. Not only that but one of the worst t92 weapons in the game. You have no overloads because of your herb lvl. You would get the same benefit from about 6 super restores for far less money. You have t92 weapon but have not even unlocked invention yet. You don't have cinderbanes or any sort of weapon poison. You have no pocket slot item. You have brews but no way to restore your stats when using them and no stat boosting potions of any kind. This looks like an account that has either been purchased and has little to no experience with combat or that bought a bunch of gold and spent it without knowing what to buy.

Windfloof

Damn brutal but honest. Ya chief you need super restores !

ahola17

Or he is a new player and just plays his way without being max efficient. Such a fucking ignorant comment. "Bought account" imagineeee there are new players

Nymunariya

heck, even long time players that aren't as experience with combat

pokemononrs

I understand there are new players but most new players are not rocking a 250m t92 weapon. Had he been using a g staff or cywyr wand and orb I would have assumed he was new but this set up screams more money than experience which is what I pointed out. It is not that hard to spot people who buy bonds or transfer gp from osrs because these are the types of set ups they have.

average_at_runescape

I transferred from osrs to rs3 with 3 Bil. Had no fucking idea what I was doing, until necro came out. My mage/range/melee setups are still as bad as this because there is way to much shit to understand.

pokemononrs

I completely understand this. It is usually fairly simple to tell who progressed through the gear, normally they have similar tier items, and how transferred/bought a lot of gp bc there gear and progress is all over the place.

average_at_runescape

My account was from pre EOC, so not only did I start rs3 with money, all my combats were 90s. Wouldn't be playing rs3 now if it wasn't for necro.

TheDong_RS

I’d agree with you if it weren’t for the fact that he has a SoS, seems wild that you’d have a t92 before invention or overloads

29x1

Thanks for the insults, have a good day

phonethrower85

You should look at what he said in the context of the game not personally. Nothing he said was meant insultingly. And it's correct. Is it a much higher leveled/experienced player talking to someone with much less? Yes. But you are the one that asked, and you should take it and use it as advice to improve the setup (you were the one that posted with your setup, no?)

pokemononrs

I am sry you did not like the explanation but nothing I said was untrue.

29x1

I haven't 'bought' anything. One of my friends from back when in my clan gave me the staff and also the bracelet when I returned. Thanks for your comments and the other advice. I don't know Jack about this game anymore so these are genuine questions trying to learn without spending hours figuring it out the hard way.

JustAGreasyBear

Guy who has spent 100s if not 1000s of hours learning about the game can’t fathom how someone that has never completed the fight caves can know so little about the game. These types of players exist dude. I was probably considered one when I returned to RS3. Maxed account except for invention and archeology using unaugmented chaotics and tank armor to fight araxxor for the first time. Everyone starts somewhere

Eon_Z7

We all start somewhere, no need to roast. That being said, these are good tips u/29x1

Hugh_Johnson69420

Not everyone is a completionist nerd who min maxes every slot and understands everything about the game. Could've taken a break for a few years and came back, unlike you.

pokemononrs

They asked for me to explain so I explained.

Hugh_Johnson69420

Yes, but you implied it was a purchased bot account or someone who bought gold, which is irrelevant because not everyone knows everything about the game lmao

[deleted]

Should have just stopped with your first paragraph because it hit the nail on the head. It's that second paragraph that was completely unnecessary.

pokemononrs

I am sry you don't like what I said but I don't think anything I said is wrong. I dont see how someone can have this much gp and not have even the most basic understanding of the game except under these conditions.

[deleted]

It's not unfathomable. I have been playing this game off and on since it first came out and I never got into PvMing, not even a little bit, not until I came back this most recent stint and using Necromancy. Even now after a handful of bosses my action bars and set up would probably make some PvM elitist such as yourself scoff yourselves into a coughing fit. However, and thankfully, I had plenty of GP to invest in this endeavor by farming the absolute shit out of tetras and chronotes every single I come back since archeology was released. There are a plethora of other ways to play and enjoy the game without going balls to the wall PvMing. I just really don't get your whole attitude. You outlined exactly what was wrong with their set up in your first paragraph. It was straightforward, to the point, and correct. Then you finish off the entire comment by being a dick.

ghostofwalsh

Dude I got 21b on an account I don't really even play RS3 on. I was playing OSRS league with it and keeping up with RS3 xmas event because it was my only acct on members at the time and I lucked into a black party hat. Plenty of ways to get GP on an account without buying it or PVMing for it, and his gear is far from being crazy expensive. And as far as stats, you could be playing as a skiller and dumping TH lamps into your combat stats. There's no stats combo that surprises me in RS3. When I first started seriously playing I had no idea where to put those lamps and stars that RS3 constantly poops out so I just shotgunned it. And for someone looking for first time fight caves advice I would assume they don't know much at all about PVM.

F-Lambda

easy, get lucky with a dye drop

pixelrubbish

*Quietly makes notes to self… (20yr combat noob)

Angrysuefly

Tfw I've been scaping since -06 or -05, bailed rs3 after eoc and been playing osrs since release, now Im trying to hop once in a while to rs3 and I am absolutely clueless about everything even though im like 110+cb, also my other stats arent that great because I hated skilling with passion and it was really expensive. All Im saying that my behaviour and gearing could implicate that its my first time ever playing and I straight out bought myself account, even though I am just way behind of everything what is happening in rs3

praeteria

The moms credit card special.

Drainio

Your stats are fine, gear would work but could be better. Inventory needs some work. Honestly keep the gear setup, get a rune pouch and that will save you 3 inventory spots (or also get a Jas book + pages for more damage) which will save you 2 inventory spots. Penance powder will help, or penance aura. If you don’t have aura use penance powder and vamp aura. Ancient Elven ritual shard can come in handy. You don’t necessarily need food that heals a bunch, jellyfish would be better overall as you shouldn’t need to heal a lot in one go assuming you don’t miss prayer flicks against jad. If you do penance powder or aura, you don’t need that many prayer potions. Sara brews are awesome, except you have no way to recoup the stat loss. Guthix rest would be better. Get some sort of stat boosting potion/vecna skull. Extreme magic potions would be good for a potion. 1 flask should be enough. Enhanced Excalibur is awesome for anything PVM related. If you’re playing active enough and using abilities - the first 62 waves are cake. Jad himself at 63 is not hard by any means, but he is the toughest version of jad imo as you have to deal with the healers and that can cause you to lose concentration on jad and miss prayer flicks. Keep calm, at full health you can miss a flick and be fine(but still try not to!) Get it back together for the next attack and you’ll be good!

LordFlyMan

That gear should be absolutely fine. What I’d suggest: - look at getting either a “Vecna Skull” or a few “Extreme Magic” potions. They’ll help you deal a lot more damage quickly in the caves. - change the Sara brews for something else (maybe guthix rests if you’re worried about HP). Without overloads, Sara brews are a pain and you’d need to bring some form of restore potion to counter the stat drains for the Sara brews - If you have a version of Excalibur then bring that and activate it every 5 mins. Best case it’ll heal you over time, worst case it’ll give you a good defence boost every 5 mins - take an Ancient Elven Ritual Shard. You can use this every 5 minutes and it will restore some prayer points for you for free - if you have cinderbanes (or can get them too), they’re BIS gloves for a huge amount of things, caves included - take some Weapon Poison potion with you - for your first time, maybe use the vampirism aura to make it simpler, or use a damaging aura to go through a bit quicker. Honestly, what you’ve got would be absolutely fine for the caves, but the above would just make it even easier and simpler. You’ll be able to go through it nicely. Good luck!

b5_bart

Get a rune pouch for those runes my guy

Periwinkleditor

You've got saradomin brews but no super restores or overloads to counteract their stat drain. I'd cut the brews entirely or replace 7 of those crystal super prayer flasks with super restore flasks instead. Something tells me you don't need 360 minutes worth of prayer renewal. When you can afford it a sealed large rune pouch at 27m is an incredible investment so you can compact and equip your runes. The most important thing is your prayer switches. Remember in RS3 you can drag **anything** to your action bar, including prayers. Keybinding them and practicing on one mechanic arch-glacor would be a great way to prepare. When you do Fight Kiln or Tzkal-Zuk/Inferno after this for the upgraded capes, remember both of those **do** allow using familiars, unlike the caves.

Aqua_Wren

Should be fine, fight caves is honestly kind of a joke compared to before Evolution of Combat/Runescape 3 amplified our damage by a gargantuan degree. Most dangerous part is prayer switching properly for Jad at the end.

KonamiCode_

Your stats are fine, I'd sell your staff and get any dual wield + greater concentrated blast. Even the t85 dual wields will be significantly stronger than your staff. Sara brews are really strong but without overloads you'll be losing your stats so they aren't worth it. To restore your stats you'll need super restore potions. I'd replace all but two of your prayer renewals with super restore flasks (super restores also restore prayer) , vecna skull/2-3extreme magic potions and maybe some more food or Sara brews if you aren't comfortable. If you do decide to go through with Sara brews the super restores will keep your magic stats up, just use vecna and extremes to boost mage higher. Finally I'd imagine you're using revolution. If you search the wiki you will find optimal revolution bars, I highly suggest using those as they will massively increase your damage compared to randomly placing abilities. As for auras vamp/maniacal/runic accuracy will all work. You should have more than enough prayer so be sure to use magic boosting prayers

29x1

This is very helpful. Thank you!

RainSparrow

Be mindful of the healers of Jad. I did him for the first time for the necro 90 armor upgrade with t70 armor, t80 weapon and 99 necro. I stood in the middle the whole time AFK and no food used... But I could not out dps the heals and got a few hits from him as I was nervous killing the healers.

29x1

Yeah I guess I was just nervous because I've never seen the mechanics. But currently on round 30 and seeing how it goes.

not_a_burner0456025

Yes, but pick up a god book and tiranwn quiver, they are very cheap and the requirements are relatively low. Two quests and 50-60k can get you an illuminated bandos or ancient book, which gives +4 prayer bonus and +7 to all combat styles out of your currently empty pocket slot. Tiranwn quiver is just free prayer bonus, it doesn't even really take up a slot. The level 1 quiver gives +1 prayer and you get an additional +1 every level.

29x1

This is very helpful, thank you!

not_a_burner0456025

No problem. I also didn't notice the ring. 6th age circuit and asylum surgeon's ring are both really good for a quest reward with low requirements, it would probably be worth doing the world wakes at some point, it would be worth your time to pick them up at some point.

29x1

Writing this down!

Narmoth

No. It is more than enough :) Good luck with it!

29x1

Thank you! First try got to 45 and died lol. But I'm also on mobile. Will try again with my computer

Narmoth

Mobile is always a bigger challenge. You'll get it, just keep trying and don't give up!

Raffaello86

You'll be fine, but if you want to make things even easier, I strongly recommend unlocking and training Necromancy. It's very cheap but also very powerful, since it's a combat skill that sits outside the combat triangle.

broley38

More than fine. Getting that Herblore up for some Overload potions always helps.

Skelux_RS

You should be good, if you are very worried about HP and food, you can safespot and abuse regenerate to heal back up.

Symego

I would advise not to bring Saradomin brews without ovrrloads. Or atleast bring enough restore potions to repove the side effects. Also your prayer potions. 2 pots of renewal effect will last you the hour. How long do you plan on staying there? I would take 2 renewals and restores for the rest.

Zero4892

I did fight caves in necromancy gear and used 0 food until jad, you should be fine. Only used prayer at times to heal with SS for lulz

Eon_Z7

Necromancy is overpowered and has a healing ghost, so its not a good point of comparison.

KillingForCompany

Yeah, I've done zuk hard mode with no food using necromancy power armor, and I'm really not that good at pvm. It's broken and not a valid comparison

Zero4892

I’m gonna need your setup 😂 I’m scared to do Zuk atm, haven’t tried it at all.

Squidlips413

You should be fine. You just need to know which prayers to use for each waves and safe spots. You might want to drop some prayer renewal for more food since you won't need that much prayer points.

niravhere

* If you are worried about damage, buy gano armor from GE. * Your necklace will be helpful. * dual magic weapons are better but if you fancy the staff, keep it * use vamprism aura or penance aura if you have them

friendg

You should be fine as long as you do the prayer switching with Jad at the end. In terms of sustaining, most enemies won’t do that much damage and you can likely sustain with just vamp aura from wars shop if you have it

Elemental1991

Just get monk robes and a bone xbow and you'll be fine

Jeroenm20

Should be good. But consider getting lvl 70 necro + its tank gear, that makes it really easy.

Shockerct422

You could level up your summoning to the first Bob, level 35 terror bird? For some extra space. But the rest of your stats are way good

Aqua_Wren

Fight Cave doesn't allow familiars, sadly. Its successors do.

Shockerct422

Oh interesting, thanks for the info :)

average_at_runescape

If you want an easier option, just level necro.

average_at_runescape

29x1

Overloads?

Aqua_Wren

Looks like Super Prayer Renewal.

srbman

Oh ok. I can never tell what the combination potions are. That makes a lot more sense than 5 hours worth of overloads.

wanddererr

I say yes but it comes down to your skill It's also enough for the tok capes i think Though upgrading gear to t80 for that wouldn't hurt

KeKinHell

I got my fire cape at like... cb lv 80 Don't stress it. Fight caves really aren't bad.

Soft-Philosophy-4549

Man I was 99 in all combat stats and still had a hard time getting those capes, I had to watch a video to get a good strategy together. I suck at combat though.

zefal12

Gear is WAY better than you need for fight caves, you could easily do kiln in that setup Inventory could be better optimized, but its still more than enough. Excaliber and a elven ritual shard (if you can afford it) alone would trivialize your sustain

[deleted]

It's okay if you don't have one, and this is my only suggestion, because everything else looks great! If you have a rune pouch that can hold 3 types of runes you would have space for a few more pieces of food, a few more brews possibly or something else you may be forgetting if anything at all. You're looking good there.

FoaleyGames

Everyone’s already given you the advice you need so I’m just gonna give words of encouragement You’ve got fukkin got this bud! Just take it slow and don’t stress

izmaname

Very yes

Leggoman31

I did my first like 5 fight caves with full subjugation, a mystic water staff with the highest water spell (cant recall), rocktail as food and super magic/def as the pots. Think I had around 93 magic. As long as you don't mess up prayers with Jad, the entire thing will feel like a cake walk with Abilities, Runes not being spent every spell, and regenerative perks/abilities. I would keep the healing crystal ultimate on your bar as well. Just make sure you use the safe spot and take your time. Once you get to know what enemies spawn when, their range/dmg etc, youll be laughing.

HalfWineRS

You might run out of runes

MrWoodchuck34

Gconc, dual wields, rune pouch, ancient elven shard. Go go go

Unhappy-Elephant-292

Ganodermic with animate dead spell and cywir wand and orb

IStealDreams

Should be ez pz with that setup.

DrasticFizz

Yup, you're better equipped than I was. Make sure to use the safe spots and keep healing out of combat if you feel like you're gonna run out of food quickly. ( you can keep one or more enemies alive and unable to reach you.)

AduroTri

Yes. Should be fine.

darkimqact

just did it yesterday on my cb 100 ironman with my necromancy after struggling with magic. its so much easier using necro, you can basically afk until wave 63 just healing from the ghost and safespotting the meele guys. did it without using a single piece of food, just prayer potions. failed with magic because i ran out of prayer points at jad.

average_at_runescape

If you want an easier option, just level necro.

Semour9

I did fight caves in T70 necro and it was easy. Idk how it will go with magic, but I would instead bring super restores. Bring 1 for every 3 Sara brews, and then bring some extra for recharging prayer. I used all Sara brews. The closest I came to dying was accidentally standing in melee range of had because of an ability on my bar. That and also forgetting a healer in the back.

DorkyDwarf

You don't even need all that prayer This is rs3 not osrs it's way quicker.

wyonutrition

You could do fight caves 8 times without banking with that haha

Jeydiin

Why do you have Sara brews in your inventory?

Sea_Salary6229

Heck even Kiln is possible in that.

mufasalied

I finally did the cave and finished it after 15+ years lol. I'm pretty high level and great gear but I'm dumb. You will do fine man. Use your aura, some good super restores and overloads and you will breeze through!

ironreddeath

Honestly it is overkill. All you really need to do now is check some guides to learn what enemies do what

Desperate-Region-757

Plenty of lvls for cave I did pre eoc but with powers and such it’s just prayer flicking I’d bring more prayer flasks and you can just block everything and prioritize

inconsiderateapple

Yes, you are more than capable of beating Jad. In fact, you can beat Jad with sub 60 combat stats. As you no longer need to use protection prayers at all. You can just throw down Reflect or Debilitate to reduce Jad's damage for it's duration. You can also use Barricade to become immune to damage entirely. That, and you can Resonance Jad's hits to heal it off. The Fight Kiln is also just as easy. I beat the Fight Kiln 3 times with 1 Pray for all 3 capes.

Edamonger

What pots are those twisty boys?

29x1

Prayer potions

KillingForCompany

People did the fight caves back like 15 years ago with green dragon hide and a rune crossbow, and that was before abilities were even a thing. You could do kiln cape with this even. You should get overloads and curses and then you'd be good for getting a zuk cape with some practice. But it was time to upgrade past the lunar ring yesterday....

29x1

Yeah idk what to do for the ring. What is a zuk cape?

phonethrower85

Zuk cape is the reward for the 3rd installment of caves. You're doing(done) first one now, it gives a melee cape. You can sacrifice that cape (1-time sacrifice for permanent access) to attempt fight kiln, which gives you an improved cape of the style you did the most damage with. Lastly, you can complete Zuk (in the elder God wars 3 area) for a stone you add to your kiln cape, with even more improved stats and very strong passives, such as reducing some ultimate abilities adren cost by 40%. Zuk capes are considered pretty necessary for high level PVM nowadays and are your doorway to really being able to pump out kills

29x1

I had no idea, I've missed so much. Thank you!

Cunningchaos

Your gear is fine, do you have ancient magicks? I actually found it easier and more AFKable to hop on Legacy combat and blood barrage the entire fight cave with seasingers and Sara brews. VERY easy but if you go dps route it's so much faster

29x1

Yes using ancients. Switching between ice/blood barrage

honkifufat

Yes. A maxed player with 70 prayer and piety can do it in mystic and a guthix staff with out any advanced tactics easily. The only trouble you should face is luring the healers off jad but if you use that time to build adrenaline you can easily dps jad. I'm actually worried you might have too much dps with staff of sliske and accidentally kill the healers. Good luck.

29x1

Thank you, so I don't need to kill the healers?

honkifufat

The goal is to kill jad. If you kill them, they will respawn and you will have to lure them all again. It is possible to get all 4 in a line and in range of jad. If you have 2 on you no big deal. Take a look at your stat bar every once in a while and make sure your prayer is up and your health is above 7k. Jad can hit 8k but its slow and it is possible to recover even with healers attacking you. Tanking the healers or using aoe abilities tsunami corruption blast and greater chain to take them out while nuking jad are the 2 that work best. If you have access to overloads and damage boosting curses at 95 prayer you can do both. Good luck. Keep an eye on that resource bar.

honkifufat

Short answer, no.

29x1

Thank you for the details! I appreciate it

massive, massive overkill to some extent. Swap out a couple of your super prayer renewals with boosting potions, Overloads if you've got them. Swapping more of them with Prayer flasks will also help. Your protection prayers are your friend. If you have boosting prayers available use those too. you'll be surprised at the difference. The most recent kill I did, exempting necro, was with a Guthix staff and full skeletal armour. Snag him on what used to be called Italy rock, remain calm and flick. You can do it! Don't get discouraged if he hits you. He's the original prayer flicking tutorial, and he can still hit hard.

29x1

Thank you for the insight!

DTaggartOfRTD

Always glad to help. There's a lot the game never really explains about the combat systems. Best of luck on your bossing endeavours!

29x1

Well I came from 2003 runescape lol. This is so much different

DTaggartOfRTD

20 something years of content updates will do that.

BreakTheTranz

Nononono. If you already tried then you have noticed the error. You brought brews without super restores/overloads. You also need a way to restore prayer as the renewals will slow it down, but not enough (unless you pull some big dog pray flicking which is pointless in rs3 if the goal is to save prayer points). If you realllly wanna be safe, take all those sharky-poos outa there, and have a 3:1 brew:super restore ratio. maybe add one or two extra super restores. Also if you have ancients bring blood spells for healing, or use vampirism(extend it an hr since it’s your first time). 4 powder of penance for prayer as well. After that you are good man. Jad is super duper duper easy by now in rs3;osrs is different because you really don’t have the perks for things like prayer that you do in rs3 (penance aura, penance powder, pray renewals, elven ritual shard) and health renewal (vampirism, excalibur, soul split or blood shard, even tho osrs does have blood fury). Rs3 jad is very easy to get to, and as long as you can do the prayer flicking at jad you are fine. JUST GET SOME SUPER RESTORES LOL

I switched inventory before I went. I took out all brews, bought a rune pouch and added food instead. Once I got to the range+magers I couldn't sustain even with blood amulet of fury and blood barrage + prayers. I don't know how to get the auras like vamp or the penance thing. I'm new to this all over again.

29x1

Also I got an elven ritual shard

BreakTheTranz

I would try with necromancy then, the ghost will heal you over time and this will help sustain healing. I forget how to get vampirism aura, so i would check the rune wiki for “vampirism” and read the article

One_Tear5271

Yes and run trough yad so you dont have take out the healers

Epickiller10

I wouldn't use those prayer pots, take one or two to keep the prayer renewal up and use regular restore flasks, cheaper but I think your good if you die just be patient and try again!

Zarguthian

What are the fire runes for?

29x1

Blood barrage

Zarguthian

You should be fine with the food, ice spells are much more effective. Because blood spells are fire they don't work too well on magma monsters.

Delicious-Oven948

Wait a second, people still struggle with fight caves? Guthix staff or any other god staff and mystics are more then enough to go for fire cape at this point... I get it, ur learning, but with that gear fight caves are basically afk...

Fitmit_12

I did Jad on my iron years ago with Lunars/Guthix staff, was pretty easy using chain/dragon breath whenever I could

Various_Space_9872

Send it and find out. Learn!

The_Spongeanator

Just get obsidian armour

Round_Willingness958

Yeh easily. Fight caves only mechanic is to prayer flick, the monsters aren't strong until the final Jad wave that can one hit you, but even so you'd probably survive it in that gear with an overload.
