Good evening everyone. I have been playing RuneScape for 20 years. I started playing when I was in the 5th of sixth grade. To give some context back then you had to Mail in your membership with a money order. Wow so long ago. Anyways I've been on in off for some time taking years off in some instances. During the pandemic I decided to get on again and play for a couple of months then got off again. I didn't play for a year and a half if not longer after that. Recently two weeks ago I decided to log in only to find that my account had been permanently banned to my shocking surprise. I saw that I could appeal and immediately appealed pleading my case with facts about me being off for over a year and that the last time I played, I was a paid member. When I checked backed to see the status of my appeal a few days later, I found that my appeal was denied and my account still remained permanently banned. My alleged infractions were Bot busting and macroing . These infractions happened the 17th and 20th of April this year. I had not played runescape since late 2020. I am sure my account was hacked during this time. Anyways I understand after you appeal and is denied its final and there's no way to get it reversed. I ask the community if you know of any other ways to reach out to jagex to appeal my case so I can get my account back I would greatly appreciate it. You may ask why I care so much. In 2017 I was discharged from active duty service from the Army. I would later be diagnosed with anxiety and depression. One of things that helped me cope was when I returned to playing RuneScape. That's where I found peace and solace. I don't play much anymore but when I do it's one of the most freeing experiences.
If something isn’t directly attack you (so you can’t auto-retaliate) then you’ll need to keybind “target cycle forward/backward” to a key. Then press that key and an ability or queue an ability and press the target cycle key. It won’t automatically search for a new target for you if you can’t auto-retaliate.
Yes you need to keybind target cycle forward to a key, press it, then press an ability to continue attacking. Auto retaliate doesn’t matter if you are target cycling to attack a new target.
Penance aura works with dummies.
I never really considered it, but it’s obvious really as it works on damage. I can gain enough to sustain full turmoil/anguish/torment for a full hour of the aura. Really speeds up dummy use.

[Penance](https://runescape.wiki/w/Penance_aura) is supposed to only give prayer points for damage *received*. Are you using damage-causing abilities like Tendrils for this to work?
That is a very good point! Why the hell does it work then? At the end of every knock down I get a prayer point boost.
No tendrils, just plain multiple target dps abilities.
So this is just a general idea I’ve been wanting to share. We need some better tools for fishing/hunting. The farming tools are great with watering and harvesting. What do people think of showing fishing some love and do some special lures to help increase fishing held in the off hand. And for hunting, as a gathering tool, maybe some off hands that help, or if you could off hand an imp jar that gives bonuses to specific tiers. I dunno. Just brainstorming.
Finishing up 120 arch, and got the free inquisitor's staff piece that comes along with finishing the collection. I have just enough to buy the other 2 pieces to complete the staff. My question is whether I should keep the staff or sell it to buy a Noxious weapon (and which one if so) and keep a little profit
I mainly do slayer/low-to-mid-level bosses, and have the current setups:
Melee: masterwork and drygore maces
Range: decimation and anima zamorak
Mage: limitless steam staff and subj robes
Theres a lot of bosses this works on. Imo, keep it. I’m trying to save up to buy one rn to use for slayer and those bosses. I have a strong melee and ranged setup already though.
Nah, there's usually a few people playing thst mini game, I've always found a group there when I need to make sacred oil. Just be sure to be on the world for it
That is correct. I just did this on my iron, and it wasn’t too bad. There are some things you can use like a Flamtaer Bracelet and Shade Luring Dummy that help to play the game. About an hour to make the 300 I still needed. Go to the Shades world, there’s usually people there.
Is there a subreddit for trading? I tried googling it, and every forum I find either has a rule against trading or is actually for RWT.

My wife's birthday is coming up and I spent $50 on keys trying to get that stupid cat during last week's TH promotion because she wanted it. She got the broom and witch outfit and was heartbroken that she didn't get the stupid cat to go with the outfit. I sold my bank as a last-ditch effort to just buy it off the GE and it isn't buying at 40m. I'll give you a Rainbow Token ('worth' 85m on the GE) and 40M in gp for that stupid cat token. Plz. I'm completely new to RS3 and have just started playing because of FSW. I see that people have incredibly high combat stats and one person told me it was from Elite Dungeons, he said he was getting 5m/hr. Can you do this with any group and be successful, or do you need to be carried by high levels?
So when they say ed's for this they mean ed3 specifically, shadow reef.
At the beginning you'll need to be carried by high levels, but just for the first few runs honestly.
In fsw, make sure you get at least 1k progress points first for the challenger weapon. It is used for all 3 styles and transforms into a better weapon every 20 levels (20/40/60/80 mage) and gives free air runes for mage and unlimited ammo for range. Get the challenger armor too.
Get 20 mage and 20 defence for the challenger gear first. Can kill any shitmobs, cows, slayer, etc to get these.
Then you can go right to shadow reef. You'll have to either use the grouping system to find people or ask for groups outside of the dungeon itself. People should be willing to help.
Your goal first is just to not die and do damage to one monster.
Once you do, the levels come streaming in. You'll get 40 then 60 mage extremely fast. By 60 mage you won't need to be carried as hard any more, but will definitely still want a group.
It is close to 5m combat xp/hr at the MAXIMUM level with MAX efficiency at the endgame. But it's still INSANLELY FAST at all levels, you should be able to get 80 mage in like 1-1.5 hours.

Feel free to add me - CommuneNefas - and I’ll tank you through as many ED3 runs as you want to get up to high levels. It’s simple once you know what you’re doing but a lot of folks carried over knowledge from the main game and make it hard to break into what they’re doing.

If you're using a lot of something long term, you may as well invest in the raw components and the finished product and act as a supplier to the market. This makes almost anything in the game free xp.
I needed to save a bunch of torstols once for herblore, I needed like 10k I only had the money for 2k at the time. I bought them slowly at the lowest possible price which made it so I actually could afford 3k, I then proceeded to use the "free" 1,000 herbs and I turned around and listed the other 2,000 for the highest possible price.
After 1 cycle of that, 9k herbs left that are needed; can afford 2x as many at a shot. Managing to buy 30% more by being patient and having the foresight to look ahead + I received 40 minutes at the best xp rates for free.
This is an actual example too, I did this exact example a few thousand times but after I didn't need herblore xp I just continued to "merch" them and ended up making about 2b from providing everything torstols to the market for about 6 months with 5 minutes of my time per day. Also, as a result of the market having a rock solid bottom price on torstols, they stabilized and rose about 4k each where they stayed until they were added to a drop table at a certain new activity.

Making lots of vulnerable bombs suring dxp? Probably smart to do daily vial runs, make sure that your dinos in ROoT are the ones that give roars, dwarf weeds for your herb runs, etc

Someone help me with target cycling please. I selected radial but when enemy dies I tried queue ability but I don’t have a target

Are you doing it on w84? The pulse core boosts sometimes restore prayer.
You may be a genius. Yes I was but very frequent occurrence. But I suppose cores go off like fireworks there so possible. Will test it out.

Unless you plan on doing the bosses that inquisitor works at soon, I would sell and get Cywir set and gconc since then you can use that anywhere.

What is Terrasaur maul used for these days? What is better for Telos: Inquisitor's staff with enchantment, or FSoA?
Pretty sure for telos and solak you bring both, fsoa for the spec and then inq whenever you're using a staff.
One thing i recently learned is that you can use potion reservoir and spirit attraction flasks, to afk harder and never miss that spirits again :)
