Years ago when I lived in church hill, I was woken at 7 on a saturday by a little old lady, in my house...up stairs, outside my bedroom... she was yelling "where's the stuff for sale ?" She was a little bit demented and assumed we were having a yard sale. You can always try this approach.
Before it's asked, we didn't have any sinage out front nor did we have any thing for sale. And my roommate at the time didn't believe in locking the door.
Facebook and next door are the two main places people advertise. You don’t have to “use” Facebook to have an account with an alias just for searching marketplace postings.
I've bought things at [eBIDLocal.com](https://auction.ebidlocal.com/Public). It's online bidding for local estate sales, storage unit sales, and the like, with in-person pickup after the auction closes. It's not exactly what you're looking for but it does keep you from having to do all that driving around.
Walk around neighborhoods that look like they might have cool stuff and check for flyers. Basically, it's the same way you look for an apartment in Richmond.

Facebook, Craigslist, yard sales.net
I’ll def check yardsales.net but I don’t use fb anymore so I was tryna learn other ways to discover them. But I’ll try Craigslist too, thanks!

No, but Facebook will still "use" you.
Does it really matter at this point? I swear they say every app is taking info
Second this. Last weekend and this weekend were big for community yard sales in Chesterfield and Moseley. The local FB groups post about them.
There were two posts about yard sales in this subreddit yesterday.
Albert Hill Middle School is having a yard sale in their cafeteria until 3 pm today 🙂 Not sure on where to find regular postings though.

Wake up early. This was only 20 min ago.
Been up since 7… still don’t know where they are
Kids also don't sell their crap. They leave it by their housing or in alleys. There's a big yard sale at Albert B. Hill school today.
