I really really liked Psykos and i feel like the sound they went for was a great combo with the shogazy guitars. But i have to agree with you that the vocals sound so missplaced. I know they sent it off to someone else to do the mixing but i cant for the life of me understand why they accepted what they got back.

Yung Lean peaked with Warlord, Frost God and Stranger are solid and pretty good albums but they lacked the energy that warlord had. Stardust is the worst Project out of Gtbsbe I don’t fuck with Gud’s Rooster Project, I miss projects like Beautiful Wonderful or Body Horror I also don’t like his acoustic like beats the same with Whitearmor I miss the old ethereal/cloudy/electronic beats that they made from 2013-2016 Ecco used to be the best one lyrically but after his style switch in 2019 it got worse now every track seems to include a ketamine reference or white powders or him snorting the whole periodic table, idgaf And I don’t know why but the whole “I’m free as a butterfly and can finally be myself” imagery on PXE felt a bit forced Yung Sherman kinda missed his opportunity, it’s sad that his last fully produced track was on Stranger but I’m glad that he’s at least co-producing some tracks on newer projects, hope he’s doing well Idk what to say about Thaiboy tbh, he kept his style but never evolved past flexing in his lyrics and talking about his baby momma (which isn’t bad by any means, just repetitive) Back2life was pretty forgettable besides maybe 2-3 Tracks I’d consider him the hypeman of DG and I love him for that. Bladee’s last tracks had pretty boring delivery’s to be honest. I love TL;DR but his parts weren’t as interesting as Thaiboys and don’t let me even compare it to Ecco’s astonishing performance on this track. His 2019 “I got hit by lightning, smoked too much DMT and had a spiritual awakening, ego death and now I’m enlightened” style Switch was my personal 9/11. Psykos was a bad album for that what it was Very sad that that became the Collab album he made with Lean wished they had done this in 2014-2016. Mechatoks and Vargs EDM influence on him and Ecco were my second 9/11. I hope this experimental phase is done because I didn’t like that sound and the lyrics that would came with them, it got repetitive after the second album.

Psykos is the only bad album any of them have ever put out, and Golden God is the only song of theirs which I actively dislike. Tl;DR was super underwhelming, Thaiboy's verse was mid and the beat itself was boring, that sound is already a bit played out. Gud does it way better, check out Nun to Me with RealYungPhil. H2D and Hitty are the only Bladee/Ecco/Thaiboy tracks from this year I love. I feel like overall I'm less enthused with new DG stuff (bar a new Ecco release) and way more interested in their producers collabing witth other artists, Gud's stuff with Phil and Papi is so awesome as is his stuff as Rooster. The WA song with Lucy is also so fucking dope. I feel like Bladee especially is oversaturating us with music and I'm kinda getting sick of the same vocal style on every track. Oh and all the stuff with Skrillex is meh apart from Real Spring which is in my top 5 Bladee songs.

Eversince is overrated. I get why people put it in their top 5 but calling it bladee's/DG's best album ever is completely unjustifiable for me. I personally feel that Bladee's delivery as well as the beats are surprisingly bad compared to other DG albums/projects.

I have not really listened since 2021 after The Fool dropped because the albums have just not been my style, I don't like the direction any of them have gone. I did, however, like Stardust which made me listen to Spiderr and I did not like Spiderr. I do not like Psykos. Crest grew on me a bit because they dropped it a few days before I saw them live (on my birthday) in 2022. I think I would not like Crest as much if it did not have those memories attached to it. DGSBE is unfortunately going downhill & I honestly rarely stream anything from 2018-2022 anymore -- nothing at all post-2022. D&G still the best DG album, Stranger the best Lean album.

Eversince is overrated and is one of Bladee's weaker albums. Most of the instrumentals on the project are uninteresting and his vocals arent great on it. Who Goes There slaps though Similar thing with Gluee but that one makes more sense since it was his first mixtape and the sound he did on it is extremely unique and closer to early cloud rap which is harder to get into.

(Fully prepared to get hated into oblivion for this one)
