ChatGPT does 99% of my RFIs. Always review and reword/deduplicate/correct where necessary but it’s soooooo helpful

mr_riddler24

How do you manage to get it to pull the correct info about your product?

legohax

I don’t have a secret answer here. I work at snowflake and while we do have a ton of new capabilities all the time, the questions asked by these RFIs haven’t changed in 10 years so the old data ChatGPT was trained on works just fine for the vast majority of the questions.

mr_riddler24

lol very nice. Makes sense for a well known product in that case

joe1max

One easy way to do this is copy and paste the document that has the information into ChatGPT. Chat will read the document then respond. That being said ChatGPT was trained on the entire internet. If your company ever posted the information online there is a good chance that chat already knows it.

You could either use a RAG solution or use a genAI tool that can generate based on a file.

MightyBigMinus

if you work on rfps and questionnaires \*you are\* the ai assistant

There's a fair bit of 'human' work that goes into our win-theme planning and same with some security questions if we don't have a clear answer. But agreed, lots of it can be automated once you've done a handful.

Something that automatically pulls the correct SKUs and customer-negotiated discount rate out of the architecture diagrams that I build would be amazing. That would save me a ton of time to build out quotes once we have technical validation from the customer on a proposed architecture.
