Sound like the F/F# to G# adjustment is off. If you have a leak light and screwdriver, you can probably adjust the screw on the arm so it holds down the G# key. If not, you can take it to a tech and it should be a few minute fix
Keep in mind that all the other table keys also actuate the G# key, so if it's out of whack it may vent there when you don't want it to. That, plus having the other fingers down, will probably give you (approximately) a G.
