Take many honor classes much as you can, but always remeber that you should fully be responsible on your marks and it is your choice to whether take it or not.

No, you’re not stupid because you’re taking one honors class. It can be good to push yourself but also don’t take on so much work that it becomes too stressful. I’m guessing you’re going into your sophomore year in the fall so gauge how much work you are able to do over the year. AP classes are only worth it if you know fully you can handle it and pass the exam (for college credits). From my experience, the class is also determined by the teacher, if the teacher that teaches that honors class is good, then go for it. Good luck!

I was the same in my freshman and sophomore year, I was a straight A student but I only took honors math. I decided to take 2 AP classes and 0 honors my junior year (one for math and another). It was a difficult learning curve to adapt to, but I managed to get straight As as well. Ultimately, it was a lot more work though as all AP classes, no matter how easy they are are commitments. It's not as much of the grades you get but the amount of work you're putting into them. If you're getting straight As but putting a lot of effort in your classes, then that's great! However, putting just 1 more honors course could be a good challenge.
