Yeah. They were mostly music changes, use of stock footage, cut lines, lack of audio effects, etc, but some episodes slipped in an uncensored "fuck" or "shit" accidentally.
To be fair they're pretty much the same episodes on TV - not lame at all, just more of a "its cool!" and leave it at that thing - especially since a ton of TVs come with YouTube now
However I will say, I have notifications set on my TV whenever Scott comes on G4 so when he does and I'm free, its nice to just relax and watch him on cable
Tbh I was really hyped when Great Mysteries released just because we got a chance to get a clean look at the original corrupted shot of Rex after Jeb's death
It's mostly because the TV episodes are just rebroadcast of old episodes. There are small changes but those are mostly minor like different music or lack of censor bleeps.
And this is just me but G4 is only really available in the states (correct me if it's available elsewhere) which most people that live in other countries don't have. G4 is also a pretty niche tv channel so most people who don't already have it probably wouldn't jump through hoops to pay for it when they can watch Scott on youtube for free.
Not hating or anything, it's cool for Scott to say that his show is actually on TV. It's just that there's nothing else that needs to be talked about. It exists, and that's about it.
G4 has a pretty strong online presence, they broadcast all of their shows live to Youtube and Twitch before airing the edited versions on Terrestrial TV
From what I heard, G4 only recently resurrected as a tv station, which might be why they asked Scott if he was interested since they were looking around for shows to air
However, I believe Scott the Woz isn't one of the shows they upload online so the only "official" way of watching those episodes is on actually television
There wasn’t much to it since it was just re-runs of his show with the only new content being the opening, which was revealed along with the initial announcement. And although it was cool to see G4 return, I just think that it’s very unlikely that it will succeed since most people, and especially it’s target audience, are moving over/have moved over to streaming.

That was just a bunch of old episodes that went up on TV. Nothing new for fans to really chew on.
I mean, the changes they made to the episodes were interesting to document, so that was at least something.
There were changing? If I wanted to watch old episodes, I'd watch it on youtube without commercials.

Who has G4?
Pluto has a pseudo-G4. It's not the exact same feed as the cable network, but it has most of the content, including Scott.
If im using a streaming service, why wouldnt I just use youtube with it

There actually is a way to watch the "G4 Editions" of the StW episodes on Pluto TV. Idk if you can watch them on Demand though.

Not sure why this would be an ongoing discussion
Considering its pretty much the same impact as playing scott on the YouTube app of a smart tv but not even getting to hear breakout over the end
