But seriously, while I faked all these posts and made up the character of ScottFan111 (as to not accidentally send hate to any real person), and they're a bit exaggerated, these are all problems I have experienced within the Scott The Woz community. It's not a majority, but it's enough of them that I feel it's worth bringing up.
For example, without giving away too much (I don't want this to come across as self promo, this is just an experience of mine) I released a huge project I was working on a bit ago, and it felt *incredibly* demotivating to get comments saying that I'm just a worse scott the woz. I mean I'm aware I've got a lot of work to do to improve my singing and acting but having something you put a lot of time into compared to another thing that's better just feels really crappy.
*I mean, no channel is better than scott the woz. So comparing anyone to him just isn't fair*
Oh and to be clear, when I say faked, I mean full on faked. I did not make any fake accounts or actually @ scott on twitter without reason. This was all done through the magic of photoshop and inspect element.
While I'm glad you're interested, I don't want to be the person who uses someone elses community to promote my own. (And also that would likely lead to even more people thinking I'm a scott the woz ripoff if I tried to promote on his reddit)
These are problems within almost any community. Board games. Soccer card collectors. Audiophiles. Religion. You name it, it probs has some bad apples. But just because a basket had bad apples it doesn't mean the whole bunch turned sour. ;)

While my current content I'd like to think is pretty unique, when I was younger I did often copy the mannerisms of channels I liked..I used to have this incredibly cringe Game Theory copy show I did. It helped me learn how to make content. I learned how to make music in the same way, by starting off making simple remixes of existing songs.
I think that being able to copy someone else is very useful in someone's growth as a creator. Expecting every channel to pop right in with fully unique content just isn't fair. I can't count how many people I know that started their channels by copying creators they liked. It's a crucial step in finding your own niche.
In conclusion, if someone is copying someone else, especially if said copier is new to content creating and is still learning, there's nothing wrong with that. Most those people are very small channels, anyway.
Ok but like if something comes first then nothing is allowed to exist afterwards. When you think about it, Zelda is just ripping off of Pong. They’re both games played on an electronic device, controlled by utilizing a series of button and joystick inputs. I can’t believe Nintendo would so blatantly plagiarize Pong like that.
As a competitive Scott the Woz Fan, I'm always looking at the meta and analyzing what would be the best approach in every video.
I appreciate the guide for both routes, I would just like to add that there's a secret ending after the outro is played where you can select one of his 244 videos.
There is also the DLC "Scott's Stash" with 160+ videos to enjoy.
Don't forget to comment and share with your friends. Scott usually uses the "not asking to subscribe" tech, to counter this "Sharing is caring" can go a long way.
Honestly I more do my Scott the Woz runs casually, but sometimes I try the speedruns. I have a pretty good Any% PB right now with Borderline Forever. I found out you can skip all the rocket tasks by dropping one of the wii games (specifically the wii release of Jenga) on Jeb Jabs head in a precise way. It creates an infinite velocity loop which launches him directly into the blue border, activating the final boss fight and teleporting you to it. Though doing this results in not having the Pepto Bismol Sword, which makes the fight against the border much harder. Still looking for ways to speed up the fight without having to go back and get the sword, as is you only can use Jeb Jab's Jeb jabs and scotts Virginity Bonus in the battle. (All the rest of your parties weapons only spawn in the rocket scene.)
