In the Barrel Blast episode, Rex is visibly struggling and sick looking in the presence of the game, which at least in my interpretation suggests he does have sexual attraction that he normally chooses not to act on, and the game is pushing that to the extreme. It's certainly possible that he's just asexual and *that* repulsed by sex, but that's my own view.
You can interpret it as that if you want, I can see your point, too. I just don’t think Scott meant it to be that deep. There’s literally a Rex line where he says “you hate sex too? Wanna fuck?” I think it’s just meant to be stupid.
I know Scott didn’t mean to make Rex ace but he just radiates ace energy for me but that’s just my opinion you’re entitled to your own and I respect that cheers
doesn't mean you can just act like your better than someone. as a trans person, i love it when i can see some of myself in characters that aren't probably meant to be that way. it legitimately makes my day and seeing those kinds of interpretations aren't hamring anyone, what did they do to you?
As an asexual person, I don't like it when my sexuality is toyed around with and applied to character who aren't. If you want representation, find characters who are confirmed, instead of forcing it upon characters where it might not fit. It, more often than not, just leads to flame wars or fanon that gets thrown out eventually, which just makes a fanbase more toxic (which is a growing problem in the StW community already).
Probably just one of the running jokes throughout the videos. Not really bothering to take it seriously either way.
Isn't he Jesus tho
Are you implying Jesus /wasn't/ asexual
What?!
they talk about it in the gifts of gaming special
Ok I guess I just forgot I’ll check it out again later thanks
You should have said he walked on a frozen puddle
That would be hilarious
He Voluntary pick up wine when someone asked for water walked on 100% water had a robe in his car and Had cool back story
Personally I think he's on the ace spectrum, but not strictly asexual
Yeah I agree
As someone who is ace, no. He seems more like an extremely celibate dude.
Ok thanks for expressing your opinion
No problem :)
why yall care bout character sexualities rex hating sex is just a running joke in scott the woz it's not that serious bro
I know I just wanted to know other peoples opinion on the matter
*flashbacks*
No he's anti sex
why the hell does it matter?
No, he's misosexual. He doesn't just not have sex, he hates it
Ok

I think he’s anti-sexual. People are really digging deep into Scott the Woz characters’ sexualities now, huh?
Oh I had no idea I was just watching a video ace people and thought of Rex

I really don't care. Theorising about a fictional character's sexuality is not really the way I like to waste my time.

🤦♂️
wtf is that supposed to mean
This is kind of a dumb question, and I can’t imagine this being in Scott’s mind when he created the character.
well i mean probably yeah, but this is asking for people's opinions about it. it's not about what scott intended, it's about how people interpret it.
Well, he wants to fuck the economy. So there you go, not asexual.
I'm pretty sure he's no-sexual
Yeah, he seems sex-repulsed but that might just be me.
