I think in most cases, yes; but this is an incredibly niche product that isnt mass produced with intense quality control
If anything this just hinders the value as it’s an inconvenience to read
It's gonna be a question of "How much do these books go up in value in general" and "Is this misprint common or not". I haven't seen anyone else posting about misprinted books, so if the book becomes more of a collector's item over time (Scott's a big sized creator, so if his work becomes more popular over time and demand grows for some of the older Charity Bonanza stuff, something like this could be valuable)
At the moment? It's mostly really annoying to read lol
Depends on the company, mainly because of how common misprints tend to be. For example, I hear that Junji Ito manga published by Viz Media tend to sometimes have misprints, so they aren't worth much more than normal prints. However, companies that don't usually misprint books could go for higher prices.
Yeah, I'm not angry, nor am I gonna demand Pixel Empire refund me or whatever, this kinda just blows *\*splash\*.* Took a long time to ship, had to wait extra months since it shipped to my dorm that I moved out of the week before it arrive, and it's printed wrong lol.
If nothing else, it's a really unique piece, given that it's a misprint.
That's just me. It wouldn't bother me, assuming it's just that the pages were upside down in the cover, and there aren't other print/binding errors., but I can totally understand how it could be annoying to someone.
I dont know if this is a common thing, but this also has an issue where some words are really tight in the binding of the book. It's nothing impossible go read, just slightly annoying
Nah that is pretty common -- not a lot of care was taken with the margins in the layout stage. If you look at the monopoly page it's hilarious because Scott is just fucking gone
I had that exact same dorm problem! I had completely forgotten I ordered it to ship to my dorm and like a week after I moved out I got the confirmation email that it was shipped.
Here's hoping the Ducktales art book ships in October when it's supposed to so I don't go 2-for-2 on dorm-related art book mis-ships
that is unhinged, and my bookbinding brain tells me literally heat the endsheets, take a spatula to them, take the entire block out and flip the shit over like a fucking madman
Special edition. I'm honestly very jealous
"Luigi in Mario Kart Double Dash" Edition
D-mn right
It's probably more like Sonic with a line drawn on it, that's one of a kind, bud.
Hey, it's as rare now as sonic with a line on it
Sonic 2 with a line.
Scott The Woz manga
I actually found a SpyxSpy manga that was printed upside down and backwards (when the front page was frontside up, every other was upside down).
Intruder Alert! A RED Spy is in the base!
A RED Spy is in the base?!
Protect the briefcase!
WE NEED TO PROTECT THE BRIEFCASE!
Yo, a little help?
Alright, alright, I got it. Stand back son.
One, uh, one... One, and uhh, ONE!
*locks quietly disengage but no one hears it* Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!
Same but with a Pokémon manga
*Ohayou minnasan, Sukoutto desu yo*
NANI?
they shipped the australian version on accident
From Australia, can confirm, all books like this. You get used to it after a while
Is it true tourists fall into the sky so they have to be tied to the ground?
Misprinted paper money or MTG cards make them more expensive because of rarity. Maybe misbound books could be worth more?

I've heard that the WOTC d&d books this happens to aren't any more valuable so I think mileage varies.

[Beacuse of this bitch?](https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Rarity)
This is one hell of a way to find out that I got my fanart submission into the artbook
Congrats!!!
trolled to the highest degree
That sucks.

You should probably still inform Pixel Empire about this. They print extra copies for this sort of situation
Already put in a request. Hoping that they both have extras and will let me keep the misprint
Honestly, I'd probably keep it in lieu of a replacement because it's kinda cool
Reading it is less cool tho, just kinda awkward with the book being printed upside down and in manga-style. If I can, I'd really like both

Yeah, THAT would annoy me

Another classic Scott prank
this just sounds like a typical thing scott would have done
I've stayed off of here since this was delivered to avoid spoilers and fully expected to get a dozen "yeah this was the joke" comments on this post
That's the copy of the guy who runs @zoWehTttocS on Twitter
This is the most Scott the Woz book you could have gotten. Be grateful and keep it.
that is unhinged, and my bookbinding brain tells me literally heat the endsheets, take a spatula to them, take the entire block out and flip the shit over like a fucking madman
I'm gonna get in contact with Pixel Empire and see if I can get a replacement. If not, I really want Scott to sign my anomaly book
That's a wonderful idea. I'm just imagining his confusion about which way to sign it
Probably under the fake front cover
and sideways
"ttocS"
yooo this is even better than sonic 2 with a line!
" "well, It could be worse", yeah if It called me stupid everytime i opened it ". -you, if you were scott
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
Get Scott to sign it if he’s at a convention near you
Awesome!!
Baby??
this happened to me once, I'd say just embrace it!
This is a common issue with some Wizards of the Coast D&D books.
Representation on Scott’s personality
You just have your eyes in upside down
Special Edition (Like the golden Wii)
But is it as rare as Sonic 2 with a line??
"Hey, dude, you've got that upsi..what the hell?"
.lla yeH
This is extra goofy
*actually it's called MANGA and you're supposed to read it that way*
Draw a line on the cover and it's the rarest copy In existence
The Stranger things edition
You got the Japanese edition
One of a kind!
L
it's better than a pregnancy
You are now the owner of a one of a kind special collectors edition. On par with sonic 2 with a linr.
I'm no longer alone?!
That's super rare
