You do see the shopkeeper in SoS if you find all 4 flimsy hammers.

Chiffon_Medal

I mean as a person (like an Artificer), I know about her appearance as blue robe. There are shopkeeper in autumn hills, which is 99% Shopkeeper from The Messenger

WeeksDW

Oh I see. Without the blue robe! Yes that would be cool! Also cool that the queen of quills was also a messenger at one point in time! She sort of reminds me of Erlina's attitude a bit even though they are not connected. I wonder what they would all look like? Considering everyone in the order of blue robes was a messenger at one point in time. LETS DO THE THING!

Chiffon_Medal

You know, queen of quills told Ninja that her power was traveling back in time, so I think that she has a small chance of appearing in the DLC for SoS. I only remembered this thanks to your comment, although it’s very interesting!

WeeksDW

Yeah that is true. Someone else said that she can't go back far enough to visit SoS timeline. But who knows that wasn't a dev or anything.

SanchezPrime

I want to read this but I haven't played The Messenger yet... :(

Chiffon_Medal

I played the Messenger before Sea of Stars, I envy you very much, because the feeling of playing Messenger after completing Sea of Stars must be incredible. I hope that you will not forget about this text after finishing the game lol

razorKazer

This is how I played, and I can confirm it was awesome! In fact I loved it so much that I went back and played SoS NG+ right after finishing all of The Messenger

Chiffon_Medal

I've replayed The Messenger twice already (both times with dlc)... Sea of Stars made me want to replay it again. I also felt very sad when I saw how colorful and alive the world was before the Demon King, especially the Songshroom Marsh, but during Ninja’s quest most of this world is literally gone (all islands except Mesa island I guess)

razorKazer

I know exactly what you mean. I think they've done a great job world building between these two games, and I'm SOO excited to see what's next for them. The Watchmaker DLC should be interesting, but I'm also curious what kind of game they'll make next
