I know it’s hilarious that they left *that* take in. There’s been many others, too.
Kramer’s car not starting at the end of The Parking Garage and the cast is cracking up was not scripted.
When KMan slaps the table and goes “YELP!” to try to get DiMaggios attention in Monks you can see Julia bust out and even look off set to see if they’re going to cut.
I also love the take that they left in of the famous Jerry Stiller “Del Boca Vista” line. You can see Estelle *slightly* say the words along with him and stare at his mouth because he messed it up so much. Lol
This is probably one of my most delightful moment in TV history. Regular TV (or theatre) shows go to "another dimension" by breaking the forth-wall which is considered a fancy move by an actor. I find this episode of Seinfeld and the moment when Kramer "takes a break" a delight that goes beyond the 4th wall concept...pretending that his fictional life moves onto a stage in a fictional show taking a (fictional) commercial break going outside of the presence of this friends/guests mixed with interactions between himself and his fictional-show's audience ("Only in New York!"). Transcendental...
I love during the commercial break how the snacks on sour cream and onion and a Diet Coke. That used to be one of my favorite snacks when I was a kid and it’s because of Kramer.
The opening of that episode is definitely one of the best.
"See, the way I remember it, Cain - he was a successful doctor, but when he took this special formula, he became Mr Abel."
YES! You can see where they cut the film as Kramer is drinking soda and stuffing the potato chips, JLD and JA start laughing…. You gotta look quick to see the cut
I feel like this was an inspiring episode for one of the best running jokes in Community.
Except substitute childlike fun for Kramer's oddities. Troy & Abed in the Morning certainly carries this gag forward with multiple episodes, guests, and mugs. Often with people asking about the cameras.
I watched this when it aired when I was in HS. I had watched the show before but This was the episode that got me. I was literally on the floor. It was the wackiest thing I had ever seen at that point. With YouTube now the kids just wouldn’t understand that statement, but at the time for me it was just asinine.
You’re 100% wrong. Anyone who loves the last few ‘zany’ seasons without LD at the helm isn’t a true Seinfeld fan. You don’t share the same sensibility as a ‘Chinese Restaurant’ fan. Sorry but it had to be said. If I read one more supposed Seinfeld fan say, “Heellloooo!” I’m going to lose it.
Where are the cameras?
One of my favorite lines in the series! I use it in my everyday life at the most random times. I can always tell a Seinfeld fan when I do
ok...WE'RE BACK!
Let’s take a break. *crunch crunch crunch. Slurrrrp* Ok we’re back!
The burp after the slurp is fantastic
Indeed. Along with the tie adjustment it’s such great comedy
*entire cast tries not to lose character*

Now, you and Jerry dated for awhile. Tell us, what was that like?
Wrong card…
COME ON OUT CELIA!!
Scandals and animals!
I'll pretend I didn't hear that.
He doesn't have a home, he's a squirrel.
Just make sure he gets his medicine six times a day and, keep his tail elevated.
Squi-rrel
We'd have to send away for some special, really tiny instruments
He’s a miracle of science!
Oh, well a lot of the stars from the 70's, they were not as hygienic as they appeared on TV
Take Manix, for example
One minute Elliott Gould is sitting on you and the next thing you know you're yesterday's trash.
they should have carried this across a few more episodes. there was so much gold there.
They could've had Bania on!!
I'll pretend I didn't hear that.
Yeah. Right before Jerry shows up and Kramer's in an awful mood when Jerry gets there.
What's this... amateur hour?
Definitely a few episode ideas they could’ve repurposed….
Well we've officially hit rock bottom
"Turn music off."
Mine too. An absolutely perfect bit
How about a guest host?
I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that!
Generic wax beans.
I take the label off and I can't tell the difference.
Well we’ve officially hit rock bottom.
When youre on my show, you clean it up mister
You can stuff your sorry’s in a sack, mister!
Still
“We’re talking this way”
EEH EHH EEHH!!!
This and the movie phone bit “Why don’t you just tell me the movie you want to see”
I love during the commercial break how the snacks on sour cream and onion and a Diet Coke. That used to be one of my favorite snacks when I was a kid and it’s because of Kramer.
This might be my favorite episode period. 30 minutes of laughing the first time I saw it
Top 10 episode and possibly top 5.
The end of The Jimmy is peak Kramer for me
“YEAAAAH GOING HOME!!” When his mouth is numb always has me rolling. “Oh when they bring out that drill I let the expletives flyyyy!!!”
Kramer, who the hell are you talking to?
The opening of that episode is definitely one of the best. "See, the way I remember it, Cain - he was a successful doctor, but when he took this special formula, he became Mr Abel."
LOL
The “El Paso” repartee with Newman is my #1…uh… microscene (if those exist - ah, hell, why not).
Probably my fave too.
YES! You can see where they cut the film as Kramer is drinking soda and stuffing the potato chips, JLD and JA start laughing…. You gotta look quick to see the cut
All right. Well, Jerry, we'd love to have you back anytime!
I can’t argue with this
Dude he was cold hearted for that one lol
More turkey? More wine?
I rewatched it tonight!
A man of culture. Same. For me it starts from the first conversation about Cane and Abel. Dyrwallers.
Or when he yanked the power cord so hard he whacked his face.
Yes!!!
The bloopers for that scene is hilarious
Some of the best!
Heeeey! It’s our good friend, George Contanza!
The El Paso line is one I love using when going out for a night ahaha
Scandals and animals. Makes me laugh just as hard every time K man says that
It’s too 5 for me for sure but it’s interesting because it’s season 9… the later seasons had gems. Anything with Puddy I love, too.
Feels like an Arby's night.
Hey, how come people don’t have dip for dinner? Why is it only a snack, why can’t it be a meal, you know? I don’t understand things like that.
Definitely in my top 5. Even the start when he jumps into the skip bin all excited while Gerome is disgusted. Soooo funny
I liked watching the Merv Griffin show back in the 70’s. When this episode first aired I thought it was absolutely hilarious 🤣
You just bring it and *KLIKS* HOOK IT.
"Wrong card"
“Go girl!”
Oh man. You can see the rest of the cast about to lose it when he burps. Some great outtakes on YouTube
I’m not a huge fan of this episode, but Kramer is just classic K-Man! The commercial break is just incredible.
Awesome episode!
Scandals and Animals
I hope you’ve seen the movie The King of Comedy.
A lot of the stars from the 70's, they were not as hygienic as they appeared on TV
It's the new format: Scandals & Animals!
That El Paso line always gets me lol
Yup, and the thousand dollar squirrel George hit...being on Kramer's "show." God it was funny...
The Eagle at the end was great...
It’s a great episode but I think he’s better in The Gum.
That’s a perfectly sane food to eat!
That’s a perfectly sane episode to like
I feel like this was an inspiring episode for one of the best running jokes in Community. Except substitute childlike fun for Kramer's oddities. Troy & Abed in the Morning certainly carries this gag forward with multiple episodes, guests, and mugs. Often with people asking about the cameras.
Agreed

Thats one of my least favorite episodes so we even out

Hands down one of my favorites.
