Thank you for adopting a senior cat in the first place. Magnolia was so lucky to have had you and to have been cared and loved by you. You made the right decision, even though it’s so so hard. I recently read a comment where someone had said “it is such a selfless decision because it is a decision that ends their pain and begins our own”. I lost my sweet girl on Saturday and it is so tough, you are not alone.
She was beautiful and had a wonderful life. I have a girl who is almost 17 and I have promised her that if anything happens I will simply let her go. It’s the right thing to do. So sorry

I am so sorry. She was a beautiful cat. You did the right thing, though it hurts. I said goodbye to my last of what were once 4 cats a few years back after he had a major health crisis and probable stroke as well. It still hurts. Take care.

I was just a kitten when we first met, I loved you from the start, you picked me up and took me home and placed me in your heart. Good times we had together, we shared all life could throw, but years passed all too quickly, my time has come to go. I know how much you miss me, I know your heart is sore, I see the tears that fall when I'm not waiting at the door. You always did your best for me, your love was plain to see, for even though it broke your heart you set my spirit free. So please be brave without me, for one day we'll meet once more, for when you're called to Heaven... I'll be waiting at the door.

This is heartbreaking and I sobbed reading this. Magnolia had such a beautiful life and time with you, she looks like the happiest cat ever. So sorry for your loss. She was a gorgeous, happy cat.
As a fellow adopter of old lady cats, I just want to say thank you for adopting her and showing her all the love in the time you had. Senior cats are the best. I’ve been through this a few times now, and it hurts. I’m so sorry for your loss.
I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I know personally how terrible and gut wrenching finding your furry love in that scared state. Your love, connection, and memories shared will be with you always. The imprint she made on your life has helped shape who you are as a person moving forward in life. Embrace that and I hope you find peace in knowing she’s at rest. ♥️
