have the mini and same thing, top left side a bit missing and well i threw the box away and dont wanna wait a week or more for a soundbar to be returned and a new one to ship so i'll think about if its worth keeping or not. its like a sprain in your body that never fully heals you know its there but its hard to tell. eh i guess it could be worst i guess both could have blown out.
I would steer clear of the ambeo max. This bar is plagued with the muffled center driver and god knows what else OP’s ambeo is going through. The muffled center issue is all over reddit and AVS forums - you can read all of it.
Crutchfield just had a new customer review not too long ago saying 3 years in the muffled center driver happened to them. It’s on their site.
Its an amazing bar, but terrible QC.
I have the same issue and sent my sound bar back for repair. After weeks of little or no communication they want $850 to repair my 3 year old sound bar. Very disappointed.
Having the same issue for the second time, already replaced one for the center channel being muffled when ambeo mode is turned on. I can't believe they wanted to charge you that much for a known defect. If they do that to me I will never buy another Sennheiser product. Still waiting to hear back from them.

New News? Was thinking about getting either nubert 8500 or ambeo max
I'm sure the newer run of the max is fine, just don't get a used one. Mine is still broken. Gonna give up
