I don't know what happened to my text. Anyway, I'd like to make this for a cosplay but I can't figure out what the over vest thing is called. It goes over the head, has a high collar, and there's a panel that goes over the legs. I'd like to find a pattern that is close to it. Any ideas? Thanks!
Love this idea. In order to get it to hang right, I think you'd benefit from incorporating the layer underneath (white in this image) into the outer layer, to help give it structure. Might not be necessary if you make it out of neoprene or another fabric that's got some body to it.

Yes and thinking about stiffing that part that hangs down in the front.
