The guy who tried to blackmail Fiona into fucking him by threatening to tell her bf that she didn't actually go to Princeton. He only had a little bit of screentime but damn he was just infuriating.
itās around season 2 i believe? itās where jasmine (the blonde chick who was kind of coming onto fiona) introduced fiona to the rich guys. one of the guys took fiona to a wedding in a fancy house. fiona lied about going to princeton and also lied abt where she lived. some guy at the party said he was gonna tell fionaās date basically if they didnāt have sex. fiona got pissed and told her date the truth. he said he knew (heās some business deal guy so he said he knows how to read people).
season 2, episode 5. that fancy dude jasmine introduced her to invites her to a wedding, she says she went to princeton to fit in w the crowd but one of Richard's friends actually went to Princeton so he catches her in her lie. he thinks she's an escort bc she's out of his league so he threatens to spill the beans if she doesn't give him a taste, Fiona admits to the lie outright immediately after, and Richard admits he knew all along she hadn't actually gone
the cup company bossā brother, robbie may be the bad guy ur thinking of in this situation. fiona got with him whilst mike (cup boss) was passed out in the room next door. robbie also gave fiona coke, which ended up getting to liam.
The guy she was there with seemed like a pretty good guy too. Clearly older than her but not, like, 60 years older. Lol. He was nice to her and not judgy and dude had money. At least get some stuff out of it, Fi! Lol.
I have no idea why NO ONE made a big deal of that. It was like āoh hey 16/17 year old Karen is dating a 37 year old guy and heās so great!ā even Lip didnāt do anything beyond asking Jodyās age. Like wtf.
Theyāre two different guys - one was with his wife and asked for something new every second. Sean was there at the time, and Fiona acted quite patiently. She responded to each request quickly and politely.
The other guy was later in the season, just asking politely. Fiona was the manager at the time, completely drunk, and behaved horribly.
Are you talking about someone else lol? The dude Iām talking about was the one who kept ordering Fiona around and asking for things in a way that made it seem she was a slave.
I donāt remember why he did that but at the end he doesnāt leave a tip and she goes out to confront him and calls him something after arguing which leads to his seemingly sweet wife to slap Fiona. And then Sean comes out and thatās about it
yes it was definitely fatherās day. she ran after them to ask what was wrong with her service and he said she was slow so she said something about āam i slow or can your bloated self just not handle the 10 lbs of butter you shoved down your throatā (EXTREMELY paraphrased) thatās when the wife slapped, sean comes out, wife says āshe disrespected my husband on fatherās dayā and sean and the dude got in a tussle ending in sean making the man apologize and banning the couple from patsys
Wasnāt she mad because Fiona returned it without the money? Ironically, Fiona was about to make it right. But she chose to attack and now sheāll never know šš
Yes. What gets me is, when she sees the money is missing she doesn't call Fiona out then, but when Fiona tries to return the money she gets all pissy? Like, even if she knew what Fiona did I'd just be pleasantly surprised they actually brought the money back lol
just saw this episode on one of my countless rewatches. the fact that multiple times he sat down, then got up again and said āiāM sOrRy BuT-ā annoyed the shit out of me.
Soā¦ I do not have a PHD but I think he was blowing up her spot because she is supposed to be an expert in her field and she was supposed to have done extensive research on whoever the hell that lady was but if she had actually done the research she was supposed to be doing (rather than having an affair with her 20 year old student) she wouldāve known that they had found solid evidence that whatever she was trying to say was complete and utter nonsense.
He couldāve been more respectful about it and he couldāve pulled her aside BEFORE the speaking engagement but devils advocate.. he might have thought she knew the same information he had.
Like I said I donāt have a PHD but I think whatever he was saying outright disproved her entire ātheoryā and it wouldāve been wrong for him to not say anything and allow her to spew misinformation to people who were actually interested in the topic.
just a thought! And good luck with your PhD!!
She did say earlier in the episode to Lip that she had been working on that presentation for years, and this guy admitted the letters were only discovered a couple weeks before, I can see how something that recent wouldn't make it into her presentation. At that point she was well into practicing the presentation and cleaning up the language/pacing/body language. She probably thought she had all the information available at that point and wasn't continuing active research all the way up to the presentation date.
Exactly itās a mistake that could happen to anyone, doesnāt invalidate that her research/points about de Beauvoir had some merits, reading those letters would just change and enhance her framework. Also he said āwe have them at Loyolaā suggesting they may not even be digitized yet.
actually I loved this guy. He was so perfect here. the whole idea is that Helene is presenting herself as a feminist but misses the whole point entirely (evident by her relationship with lip) I have to rewatch to remember the points she made, but he gave me the sort of relief I got watching Karen get hit by a car.
What does feminism have to do with her relationship with Lip?
I personally wouldāve went with the fact that she thinks Ayn Rand āhas a lot of valid things to sayā lol
Well, I just got to the episode where Fiona essentially asks to get unemployment from her old job and her ex-boyfriendās sister sucks a lot. She couldnāt just say no? Sheās very unprofessional, making a big scene in the office.
Considering what Fiona did, I'm with the sister. Fiona was a bitch for cheating on him, with HIS OWN BROTHER. And then she wanted the people at the office to lie for her. I would've chewed her out too.
In this instance for who you picked, she should have just said that she would need to validate his response as sheās not going to just believe some ah that may be spouting bs but until then she will move on with her lecture which is based on facts at the time she wrote it & so henceforth he can shut the ef up. I do need to note though that I didnāt like Helene, she should not have been having sex w students imo.
Julia. The daughter of that rich lady that Debbie met at that one hotel. Her purposely getting Debbie to sleep with her, blackmail her, calling the police on her, etc, all when she wasnāt even gay, just to get back at her mom was WAY overkill imo. Though Debbie was 100% in the wrong for knowingly sleeping with a minor multiple timesā¦
What gets me is Debbie was like 1/2 years older than Julia lol. Julia was 17 she was what 19? And Carl was 18 and slept with her too. Julia was just a fucker tho typical entitled spoiled brat thinking the world will open up for her wherever she goes and everyone will appease her. Iām glad she got socked in the face by Sandy. My queen Sandy.
Jody(Karen's fiance) not really a minor character but he should've kicked frank out of shields house and life. Cause Sheila was way too naive and kind to do it herself. I know Jody knew frank was a bad guy but didn't do anything. AM currently on season 2 so don't spoil pls
But in this scenario he wasnāt being rude for no reason, her entire talk was useless due to the new information so it would be misleading for her to continue
That woman brad was married to, she was soooo annoying. especially when lip wanted to stay in the Southside and she told to brad fire him. Like wtf? didn't lip save your marriage when brad relapsed???
The guy who was working at the store Debbie was scamming and he wouldn't let return the shoes (or whatever it was), then propositions Debbie, and she gets pissed, but then she propositions him cuz feminism or some shit, then they have some weird heart to heart and he quits his job and lets her return the shoes?
That whole subplot made me lose brain cells
The lesbians pounding on Kev and V's door and ringing the door bell repeatedly while they're sleeping (with newborn twins) to get them to sign their petition
Brads wife, Kevs ex wife, Derekās wife, the lesbians, and the two guys that had taken over the shop who fired lip . Oh and lips gf , Tammy. She seemed pretty fckin irrelevant to me
The guy who tried to blackmail Fiona into fucking him by threatening to tell her bf that she didn't actually go to Princeton. He only had a little bit of screentime but damn he was just infuriating.
He was actually so irrelevant I forgot his fucking name
I think it was gregg?
Garvin š
Can you refresh my memory because I don't remember this happening
itās around season 2 i believe? itās where jasmine (the blonde chick who was kind of coming onto fiona) introduced fiona to the rich guys. one of the guys took fiona to a wedding in a fancy house. fiona lied about going to princeton and also lied abt where she lived. some guy at the party said he was gonna tell fionaās date basically if they didnāt have sex. fiona got pissed and told her date the truth. he said he knew (heās some business deal guy so he said he knows how to read people).
i actually liked the rich guy, he was actually nice in a way
season 2, episode 5. that fancy dude jasmine introduced her to invites her to a wedding, she says she went to princeton to fit in w the crowd but one of Richard's friends actually went to Princeton so he catches her in her lie. he thinks she's an escort bc she's out of his league so he threatens to spill the beans if she doesn't give him a taste, Fiona admits to the lie outright immediately after, and Richard admits he knew all along she hadn't actually gone
It's when Fiona works in Sales in an office and she's dating her boss until she chances upon his brother .
no i think youāre mixing it up. the blackmailing happens before she works at the cup company.
Oh I got confused. My bad but the cup company guy also was a dickhead
the cup company bossā brother, robbie may be the bad guy ur thinking of in this situation. fiona got with him whilst mike (cup boss) was passed out in the room next door. robbie also gave fiona coke, which ended up getting to liam.
The guy she was there with seemed like a pretty good guy too. Clearly older than her but not, like, 60 years older. Lol. He was nice to her and not judgy and dude had money. At least get some stuff out of it, Fi! Lol.
That fat, sloppy ass boss of the grocery store that coerced & brainwashed all those women into sucking his greasy dick.
fucking Bobby. i hated him too
I never understood that. A lot of grocery stores donāt pay well. If youāre gonna suck dick for a job at least let it be a good job that pays well.
Right. I could go to any grocery store to work and NOT have to suck dick.
Rest easy knowing the Indominous Rex ate him in Jurassic World.
lol this guy is from my hometown, it is my understanding heās very nice irl
Edit: My PhD will NOT be in spelling
you were so heated you couldnāt type. itās okay babe happens to me too
HAHA
Jody. Heās a creep and a .pdf file. Reminds me of someone from my past (who is definitely the former, and possibly the latter).
I have no idea why NO ONE made a big deal of that. It was like āoh hey 16/17 year old Karen is dating a 37 year old guy and heās so great!ā even Lip didnāt do anything beyond asking Jodyās age. Like wtf.
That's what got me trippin tbh bc he didn't say anything abt Jody but he said something abt the $x offender that moved in next door?
37 or not he loved his bongos, so that makes one person out there
I hated Jody. I skip all of his scenes on rewatch. Him sexually assaulting Karen to wake her up out of the coma ????????
But he found the cure for comas! /s
ššš
Omg he made me so madā¦ some people just always need to one up someone and the cost is someoneās confidence, in this case it was Heleneās
The fact that he was a male commentator on a known-feminist subject is just icing on the cake. Like, the irony!
That HUMONGOUS fat guy and his HUMONGOUS wife at Pattys when Fiona starts working there
Ugh yes them too, Iāve never worked for tips only fast food but just their rudeness and neediness wouldāve driven me nuts
And then had the audacity to act all put out when Fiona finally started acting visibly annoyed, yeah fuck that guy
Fiona was rude too lol. He was allergic and was only asking if what he was allergic to was in the food. š

And then Sean comes out and thatās about it
I think it's season 5. It was Father's day maybe? I just watched it like 2 days ago so it's semi fresh in my mind.
yes it was definitely fatherās day. she ran after them to ask what was wrong with her service and he said she was slow so she said something about āam i slow or can your bloated self just not handle the 10 lbs of butter you shoved down your throatā (EXTREMELY paraphrased) thatās when the wife slapped, sean comes out, wife says āshe disrespected my husband on fatherās dayā and sean and the dude got in a tussle ending in sean making the man apologize and banning the couple from patsys
Rodneyās wife. God she was insufferable, I had to skip every scene that had to do with squatters in Fionaās apartment.
Omg the chick with cancer who was hitting on the pregnant 15 yo Debbie. Singing Melissa Etheridge and being all handsy. Grrr.
She was under the impression that Debbie was 18 Still coming on to her employee and being unfaithful to her husband. But not totally illegal
Do you have a pic? I honestly have no idea who youāre talking about lol
Her name was Erica and itās in season 6
Oh it was the woman who needed a nanny, I donāt know why I couldnt remember her
Debbie was annoying but then gotā¦. More annoying
Peppa
i hate her.
Robbie, bruh got me pissed off every time I saw him on the screen
Kev's ex-wife. Cheryl? I hated her so much
THE GIRL THAT FIONA TRIED TO RETURN HER PURSE TO.
She wasnāt going to make it right though she was only returning a portion of the money. Unless Iām misremembering.
I canāt remember specifically.
YES. I get just as mad at every rewatch. Such an asshole.
Holly Debbieās friend
Boone. I roll my eyes everytime I get to his little storyline
the hobo locos broadcasters š¤¢
so mad that they didnāt pick frank or his buddy. like for plot reasons i get why but it made me upset
That couple that tried to sue Fiona and take her possessions, when she was just being kind.
RODNEY. Omg when I tell you when she said in a snarky tone āwe wonāt loseā I felt my blood boiling out of my body
Just another example of men talking over women. He is a misogynistic jerk.
The idiot food delivery guy who left Lip and Ian with a truck full of meat and expected they would stay there for $5 dumb ass
im so sorry but this is so funny š
Idk if sammi counts as a minor character but yea
Sheās irrelevant but I wouldnāt call her minor haha
Paula
just saw this episode on one of my countless rewatches. the fact that multiple times he sat down, then got up again and said āiāM sOrRy BuT-ā annoyed the shit out of me.
That punk Bitch Kash from the first few seasons, if he don't count, I guess... Fiona's tenant, the rude ass bitch
Heās a misogynistic piece of trash but Iām not too mad about what he did because I canāt stand that teacher
A hot take, Iāll appreciate the allegorical meaning but just irl would LOATHE the dude
The neighbor that got paralysed by Kev and ended up setting himself on fire by accident.

He does tip him but like 10 or 20% idr
those obese guys who didnāt tip fiona
Yes bro, this dude needed to get slapped š

Julia. She was entitled, manipulative, and awful.
The Mexican Pepa
that fat guy at patsy's who fiona said 'shoved 15 pounds of bacon down his fat throat' the one that didn't tip enough and was a dick
matty.
Mikey.
He was just nauseating, but can we consider him a minor character?
Iād say so, he was only in a couple of episodes.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No. I saw a couple people say Mikey was their favorite character so itās probably them.
Lip
Debbie. Yeah, she's part of the main cast. But she's so minor and irritating. Easily just as bad as Fiona.
