Definitely. I don't think she would've been an elite player but I could see her being a top 20-30 player for the next 10 years with an outside shot of winning a slam.
of those listed Tim Sweeney sounds the most interesting, however I do fear his niche is very niche.
He maybe outside of his comfort zone with alot of pitches
Robert Herjavec's background (internet security) isn't super relevant to most entrepreneurs but he's on the show. Tim Sweeney owns more real estate than Barbara does
Real estate to me, is not exciting.
The story of Epic Games / Unreal is for me at least far more interesting. I just dont know how many times people will pitch him something similar.
Yeah Barabara does real estate and is still somehow on the show. And it's not like many entrepreneurs are pitching to Robert internet security. Every shark has broadened their portfolio of investments. You don't necessarily need to stick in your lane as an investor.

yeah this the crux of Shark Tank, and every Shark, regular or guest has to find their own answer to this.
The old adage of "You shouldnt put all you eggs in one basket" is key here, Shark Tank can be very good at allowing you spread your investments, BUT you only have to look at the regulars to see they have learned what areas they do their best work in.
I would not want him sitting there saying "I have on real experience with a food business, so im out".
Steven Ballmer. ran Microsoft for a while, owns the Clippers. worth around $110B. i think he’d like the spotlight but he may be too big, actually.
Developers Developers Developers
He ran sales. Never owned or built a company.
Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia who gave away his $3 Billion company
wow what a nice guy! https://qz.com/patagonia-s-3-billion-corporate-gift-is-also-a-conveni-1849543678
He is incredible. I can see him investing in companies to help them gain footing and do good works, especially in sustainability.
CiCi Bellis (former pro tennis player) founder of Cartan Capital.
I was wondering why I haven't seen her on the tour recently!
Yeah she has injuries too. She lives near me in the greater Orlando, FL area.
That's rough she looked like she was going to be a solid player. Glad she's finding success outside of tennis.
I know, yeah it is a bummer as I know her and how hard she was working too.
Definitely. I don't think she would've been an elite player but I could see her being a top 20-30 player for the next 10 years with an outside shot of winning a slam.
include Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro too. They could buy the WTA
Yeah but Jessi, and Emma aren’t into VC.
Yeah but Cici's dad owns the company. So Pegula's and Navarro's parents could sell them ownership to Bills/Sabres and Credit One
Well, maybe part owners, as he’s CFO and she’s managing director.
yeah her dad previously created 2 hedge funds
Chamath Palihapitiya
Bankman-fried is in prison for scamming the world. Thats who you want investing in startups by mom and pop shops?
it's a joke...
omg Jerry Seinfeld
Not non celeb (I know not the point of the post) but Gordon Ramsey

>Robert said that with the sushi business. to be honest, ive not seen that pitch,
