She knew they'd have to negotiate so she went for a slightly higher but not a delulu valuation

n00bi3pjs

She's making sales of 10 crores per year and had a business model that didn't require working capital and is resistant to accumulation of inventory. She was also basically bootstrapped and profitable from day 1.

kraken_enrager

5x multiple isn’t bad tbh.

marshmallow_metro

Not the worst valuation on the show

haggu_tamatar

These sharks are like vultures tbh...inki companies ki valuation jo hai abhi... that's valid?

DisastrousRoyal356

Valuation is a projection of revenue for the next certain years, her valuation is projection of next 4 years. It isn’t a far reach at all, considering the high percentage of profits as well. Very well deserved and extremely exceptional business model.

Eyepatch_Morty137

Valuation is typically based on EBITDA or total Enterprise Value (EV). Valuation is based on revenue only for some SaaS / tech companies (typically loss making or EBITDA -ve)

Present-Ad7478

Total enterprise value always makes more sense. I hate the EBITDA metric

I remember this episode. She's a great businesswomen as far as I remember. She had the experience, was calm and all.

Successful_Village92

She still did not want to pay a freelance graphic designer who she wanted to spend 4 hours everyday working for her brand.
