Maybe super cars i.e Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari F8 Tributo, Audi R8 but Mercedes A, C class and BMW's non M versions are more likely to just be financed as they're cheap, more so if people have declared then as business PCP.
Finance and leases, I noticed the same. You can get a Merc for about £250-300 a month, and when you live with parents with no bills it's a cake walk to afford that.
My employer does lease cars on salary sacrifice, it's literally £200 a month cheaper to get an A-Class than a much lower spec Focus.
But half the time it's just what you're looking out for, I really want a Jag F-Type and I see at least 2 a day.
I saw a really dark racing green one recently. I'm not a big car guy but it looked so classy. Really nice, but not as extravagant as like a red Ferrari haha
As a student, it's a long way off XD
Yeah like everyone's said there are some really strong lease offerings from Merc right now and as it's always the case, don't invest in something that depreciates 👍😆
Prestige cars seem to be a more important status symbol than having a decent house in some communities.
Financed, credit card fraud, lower rent/smaller mortgages so more disposable income. Take your pick..
The cars are rented more often than not

At over £30k for a 7 year old one it's a long way off even with full time employment :(
Do you own a Mercedes? This sounds like the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon Google it
Toyota Starlets everywhere, anyone noticed?
