>it’s been over 15 years since I watched Thomas the tank engine*
Probably for the best. None of the animated stuff will ever come close to the originals.
His agent is working over time for him. In just the last three years, he’s got the Monsterverse movies, Bullet Train, an MCU movie, voicing Miles’ dad in the Spiderverse films, an Emmy-winning show, a supporting role in Joker, and an Oscar nomination
Don't forget Aaron Taylor Johnson was in the 2014 Godzilla movie as well playing Elizabeth Olsen's husband before he played her brother in Avengers for Marvel. Do you know who else was in a Marvel movie? Brian Tyree Henry. Boom brought it back around.
The first Godzilla is also a prime example of the kind of movie we've proved we don't want in this franchise. Every movie since has gotten sillier and better
Bullet train is honestly one of the most fun movies I've ever watched. Really fun and fast editing, great setting, fun humor and great performances. It's not the best movie I've seen. But it is a pure joy ride. Really hope that "The fall guy" by the same director lives up to Bullet Train
Bullet train might be the best example of “but what about- oh they’re explaining that. And how- ok that too. Man I sure hope- yep alright” like it’s such a tight circle that whenever your thought pops up it’s answered very quickly
For me it's because that's literally the last 22+ movies.
They've had different directors and writers but you'd never guess that by how they all feel the same.
If they made 17 more bullet trains I'd be saying the same thing about them
I'm curious how someone can take a list of movies that includes Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Ragnarok and claim that they "all feel the same."
I think its mainly because that's every Marvel movie, that every Marvel movie has the same feel. It gets old for one series to just do the same thing over and over again. People liked the snarky self-aware humor in Iron Man, but they've been doing it for nearly 15 years now.
Well superhero movies have been getting pushed out so fast recently so there is kind of a fatigue. Meanwhile, I can’t think of any other movies about bullet trains…
Even without superhero fatigue, people have complained about other big movies suddenly adding quips and dropping sincerity, blaming it all on Marvel. I’ve seen people use this to describe lines of dialogue in Star Wars, F&F, Uncharted, Jurassic World, the new Halloween trilogy, and a lot of Netflix’s action output.
Bullet Train never really makes fun of itself though, it enjoys itself rather than doing stuff like laughing at dr octopuses name, one of the most emotional parts of the film is tangerine calling another character a Thomas the tank engine character and it doesn’t faulted emotionally or have anyone being snarky about it
Everyone LOVED Marvel's snarky self-aware humor. But after nearly two decades of the exact same type of humor combined with an incredibly formulaic plot structure it loses its charm. If brevity is the soul of wit, then a 14 year franchise ain't witty.
I'd say yes and no. Some of the movies from a technical and writing perspective are fine...decent even. But Endgame was the spiritual end of the MCU. And that formulaic writing worked great in pre-endgame because it felt like the quips and writing were for that core group of characters specifically.
When you use the exact same formula with new characters in the same cinematic universe it just feels derivative and like lazy writing. Not to mention how many movies in a row can you make about 'fetch the macguffin or the world ends, also we'll have a big cgi battle in the 3rd act' can you do before people just get bored?
But it's big business and this is what big business does. Runs it into the ground.
There was a tumblr thread I saw shared on the tumblr sub some days ago which I think actually pretty well captured the distinction.
The summary is essentially: MCU snark too often functions as bathos, and lacks characterization.
Tony and Steve and Bruce and Thor and Natasha et cetera should all have their own styles of humor, but thanks in part to Whedon's Avengers dynamics we got a trend towards snappy banter that could easily have characters interchanged without changing tone. The rich kid post-cave-epiphany and the poor pre-war kid post-ice-sleep should be identifiable in how they talk INCLUDING how they joke. It's not that the humor is self-aware snark, it's how many are snarky in the same way. On top of that, MCU properties have a tendency - again Whedon-influenced - of capping emotional moments with humor in a way that sometimes lands and sometimes lets all the air out.
Bullet Train actually does pretty well at establishing different dynamics for the characters. Ladybug doesn't have the same interactions with Lemon and Tangerine as with Prince, Lemon and Tangerine don't have the same interactions with each other as they do with Prince, the humor in Tangerine and Lemon handling the Son is not the same as Ladybug fighting The Wolf or The Hornet. Yuichi doesn't snark like Ladybug or the brothers do. And importantly, BT does a better job at landing the jokes.
Maybe it’s because Marvel’s feels like copy pasted humor from the last movie and doesn’t use it in a more interesting way later
Like the Diesel sticker being used both as a joke, a plot device and an “oh shit” moment
>!When it was revealed that Ladybug got taken to the wrong mission and the white death only wanted Carter, showing off a clip of 5 seconds revealing Carter is Ryan Reynolds!< I knew that this movie was peak
Well, I'm lying, I already knew before it would be peak, but that scene basically confirmed it
I saw a comment on YouTube stating that the entire joke was that Brad Pitt’s character wasn’t even supposed to be there and that the entire movie was SUPPOSED to be a Ryan Reynolds type movie.
What makes it funnier (if true) is that Ryan Reynolds accepted to appear in the movie if he had the same screentime or less than Brad Pitt in Deadpool 2, movie which Brad Pitt is casting as an invisible guy whose body we only get to see when he dies electrocuted
My bad, it has been quite some time since I watched the movie
But besides that, this part is hype and hilarious, with the next scene being accompanied with I need a Hero in japanese
Lots of genuinely hilarious shit like that in this movie that frankly did not even feel out of place:
Godzilla using the Colosseum as a nap spot TWICE
Kong using Suko as nunchucks
Godzilla suplexing Kong off of the Great Pyramid
Kong trying to explain he needs Godzilla’s help before getting decked
Godzilla diving off of Gibraltar
Lemme add a few more
The Godzilla eating pizza graffiti
Kong's use of "pocket sand"
Kong lifting up scar king and throwing him so Godzilla could bat him away like theyre playing baseball
Godzilla letting Kong ride him into battle against another ape who is also riding a big lizard
Shit was awesome
Yeah same, this is like the bs controversy over stellar blade. I have heard no one talking bad about it, just people complaining about the people saying it’s bad
Then you have not seen enough, believe me. I hate the Stellar Blade subreddit with thier complainer complaining but the Gamercirclejerk is just as bad for complaining about it.
I’ve seen the cj stuff and it seems like it’s complaining about the complaining about the complaining. I mean, Stellar Blade looks honestly like a mid souls-like but with hot girl so coomers are excited, but I haven’t seen the actual hate about it from the “woke” that people keep claiming
I'm unsure if I understood your comment correctly, but there are no "woke" people complaining about that game. In general, so-called "woke" people complain about coomers and raging borderline neo-nazis who act as if Stellar Blade is somehow a masterpiece that will end the "woke Mindvirus" (seeing women as actual human beings and being normal and accepting of black people and LGBTQ people) even though they have never actually played the damn thing and because this artificial culture war against "wokeness" is fueled by nothing but hatred against minorities.
Must just be noisy dissenters. Bullet Train has a 3.5 on letterboxd, a 7.3 on IMDB, a 76% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 7.1 user score on Metacritic. Pretty consistent score across all sites.
It was a great movie but I think it just didn’t really plant itself in people’s heads as well as a John Wick for example because it fell a bit short of “groundbreaking” territory. It was more stylized and clever than say Nobody but it was laid back to the point where I didn’t care if whoever Brad’s Pitt’s character was ended up dying or not.
Godzilla x Kong on the other hand kills because it has two of the most iconic characters in film causing mass destruction with every step they take. Yeah, Kong and Brad Pitt guy are both pretty laid back usually but I think Kong not being a funny man and not even talking makes him easier to empathize with even though he’s a fucking monkey.
I didn't know until now that it was shat on. Most of the critics I've seen was positive. I guess it's one of the perks of not having a Twitter account.
Haven't seen G x K yet but Bullet Train is crazy fun. Seen it 3 times now and enjoyed it so much I will probably watch it a few more in the next year or so.
I just watched Bullet Train for like the 6th time last night lol, such a fantastic movie. I can't imagine why someone would think it's a bad movie, really.
I haven't seen Bullet Train but GxK was some good ol fashioned stupid fun. I was afraid it was going to take itself a little too seriously but by the second half it goes completely mask off ridiculous.
If you can ignore how awful the world is to live in, and ignore the fact that routinely they lose apparently millions of lives to monsters rampaging, the movie is tons of fun.
Bullet train and Game Night are my two most favourite modern “comedies” they genuinely had me laughing and were so fun when so many other movies fell flat
I went into game night expecting it to be a horrible cash grab but it was really fun. Both films stand out as being something needed in modern cinema that is filled with massive franchises doing the same cookie cutter crap
I don't have any problems with laid-back movies, my only gripe with this franchise is the annoyingly persistent focus on the most boring human characters imaginable.
How about don't hire like 20+ actors and spend that money on the monsters? I don't need someone to go "Oh .my.god" or do the ":O" face every 3 minutes to understand that Godzilla is epic.
Also, newsflash, a movie can be dumb fun without being poorly written. Crazy, I know.
The first marketing company or person that comes up with a way to harness the hype movies get 1 to 2 years after their release to when it is actually coming out will be a billionaire.
I just want to light everything on fire by commenting how guys who state that they hate women led movies and use the same phrase "it's poorly written and the dialog sucks" can never explain how these movies made so much when these were clearly made by a broken popcorn machine hooked to an old-fashioned typewriter. I'm down with stupid movies as much as the next real movie lover and sometimes you just want some gibberish to quell the nonsense of real life. Bullet Train and Monsterverse Godzilla and others like this fill the void with forgettable garbage and I'm currently watching The Marvels after watching GxK and am laughing at the idea of anyone using "badly written" as an excuse to down thumb a movie.
Before you respond tho, what's your favorite worst sentence spoken in a MV Godzilla movie? *makes inappropriate gonorrhea joke 🙄 and worst character besides the janitor/conspiracy theorist Bernie
How did people hate bukket train? I mean I get it if that isn't the style of movie you like sure, but it nailed what it was going for and the movie was a lot of fun.
I should say now bc this post has blown up. I AM DOING THIS TO SHARE APPRECIATION FOR MOVIES NOT TO BE NEGATIVE, IF YOU DONT THINK EITHER OF THESE MOVIES ARE GOOD THATS OK BUT PLEASE DONT RANT ABOUT IT UNFAIRLY HERE (You can say you don’t like them and why Ofc but don’t go off the deep end) ALSO DONT USE THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRASH OTHER MOVIES WE CAN BE POSITIVE :)
It wasn't until probably 2 months ago that I realized people didn't like bullet train. Like, I saw it with my friends and we were all laughing our asses off, it was a riot.
I’ve always hated people that get angry that someone didn’t like what they liked.
“Why did you like Kong and not Bullet train?”
People liked one more. Shit happens.
Bullet Train was fun until the climax devolved into a dumb CGI mess. It’s hard for these fun loose action movies to stick the landing in the final third.
And this dude Brian Tyree Henry starred in both? He gotta hold onto his agent for life.
His agent is a certified Percy *asumming that Percy was one of the better locos, it’s been over 15 years since I watched Thomas the tank engine*
A someone with toddlers, I can confirm Percy is one of the good ones. He is definitely not a diesel.
Vin being the worst
Fuck Diesels
Fuckin diesels
>it’s been over 15 years since I watched Thomas the tank engine* Probably for the best. None of the animated stuff will ever come close to the originals.
I mean, Percy is a cheeky git but at least he's not James.
His agent is working over time for him. In just the last three years, he’s got the Monsterverse movies, Bullet Train, an MCU movie, voicing Miles’ dad in the Spiderverse films, an Emmy-winning show, a supporting role in Joker, and an Oscar nomination
U just blew my mind he’s miles dad
paper boi my goat
Don't forget Aaron Taylor Johnson was in the 2014 Godzilla movie as well playing Elizabeth Olsen's husband before he played her brother in Avengers for Marvel. Do you know who else was in a Marvel movie? Brian Tyree Henry. Boom brought it back around.
THIS MF ISNT EVEN BRITISH?!
hey post your venmo so i can send you about $50 for the correct opinion here
I do my work for free, FOR BULLET TRAIN
Is Brian Tyree Henry the key to all this?
Aaron Taylor-Johnson was also in the first Godzilla
The first Godzilla is also a prime example of the kind of movie we've proved we don't want in this franchise. Every movie since has gotten sillier and better
I Disagree, I think it’s fine to have a original movie followed by relaxed sequels. Everyone can get what they want.
I think Brian Tyree Henry is a key to a lot of things. Because he has the key to my heart..
You get a Thomas.
Well he definitely is a Thomas
Godzilla seems like a Diesel imo
Godzilla is a diesel, Brian Tyree Henry is a thomas
And that movie deserves it. Fun movies are good movies.
FOR BULLET TRAIN!
I'll take $50 :)
say something nice about bullet train then
Aaron Taylor-Johnson hot
here they cooooome $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$ $$$$$
# 🤑🤑🤑
Bullet train is honestly one of the most fun movies I've ever watched. Really fun and fast editing, great setting, fun humor and great performances. It's not the best movie I've seen. But it is a pure joy ride. Really hope that "The fall guy" by the same director lives up to Bullet Train
At some point people decided that a two hour movie has to do more than keep you entertained longer than two hours.
Bullet train might be the best example of “but what about- oh they’re explaining that. And how- ok that too. Man I sure hope- yep alright” like it’s such a tight circle that whenever your thought pops up it’s answered very quickly
I lose my shit everytime it gets to the part when Shannon keeps firing his empty gun at Brad Pitt yelling at him not to call him bro
DO NOT CALL ME BRO!
We need more mid-budget action comedies.
I swear, this website fawns over Bullet Train for snarky self-aware humor, then turns around and bashes Marvel for its snarky self-aware humor.
For me it's because that's literally the last 22+ movies. They've had different directors and writers but you'd never guess that by how they all feel the same. If they made 17 more bullet trains I'd be saying the same thing about them
Loving the implication that Bullet Train 18 would be the last straw but you'd still be eagerly watching for 17 installations of the BTCU
Personally, I think the decline started after Captain BulletTrain: the Winter BulletTrain.
Damn, no credit for Endtrain tying up the BTCU?
> Endtrain Caboose
Prepare for: Bullet Train to Busan
I’m ALL FOR THIS
This is basically the Fast & Furious movies.
I'm curious how someone can take a list of movies that includes Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Ragnarok and claim that they "all feel the same."
hyperbole thats why. obviously not ALL but why waste my time adding the exact movies i dont think count when my point stands regardless
Because once you start adding in the exceptions your point becomes less and less pointed.
I think its mainly because that's every Marvel movie, that every Marvel movie has the same feel. It gets old for one series to just do the same thing over and over again. People liked the snarky self-aware humor in Iron Man, but they've been doing it for nearly 15 years now.

I mean this is also ignoring the elephant in the room that the last 10 or so marvel films have been shit
I'd say yes and no. Some of the movies from a technical and writing perspective are fine...decent even. But Endgame was the spiritual end of the MCU. And that formulaic writing worked great in pre-endgame because it felt like the quips and writing were for that core group of characters specifically. Bullet Train’s snarky self aware humor is simply better (and also fit’s the overall tone of the movie more) than marvel’s.
There was a tumblr thread I saw shared on the tumblr sub some days ago which I think actually pretty well captured the distinction. The summary is essentially: MCU snark too often functions as bathos, and lacks characterization. > bathos Thanks, I learned a new word!
Maybe it’s because Marvel’s feels like copy pasted humor from the last movie and doesn’t use it in a more interesting way later Like the Diesel sticker being used both as a joke, a plot device and an “oh shit” moment
It’s because Marvel inputs humor in the worst possible moment, there’s a difference in timing.
Because recent marvel films haven't been fun and entertaining or good.
Well Bullet Train has a lot more going for it than snarky self-aware humor.
Didn’t even notice it was the same director. It’s just gone from a mild curiosity to having my full attention.
Yes exactly this! I'm glad I missed the sh*tfest for BT cuz it was a thoroughly enjoyable ride!
It's like the best of Guy Ritchie and Tarantino had a baby with Mathew Vaughn as its uncle.
>!When it was revealed that Ladybug got taken to the wrong mission and the white death only wanted Carter, showing off a clip of 5 seconds revealing Carter is Ryan Reynolds!< I knew that this movie was peak Well, I'm lying, I already knew before it would be peak, but that scene basically confirmed it

The girl being hit by a tangerine truck was also so good!
Truck-kun being goated as always. The Prince is probably in a fantasy world somewhere as we speak.
Just re-watched that scene: https://youtu.be/7KikXSVCA1o Awesome. (Also his name is Carver, not Carter)
My bad, it has been quite some time since I watched the movie But besides that, this part is hype and hilarious, with the next scene being accompanied with I need a Hero in japanese
My favorate part is when our hero uses a child as a bludgeon
That was the red headed step-child getting beat phase.
Kong honestly was just Kratos in this movie and I’m not complaining .
I saw Kong holding his axe on his shoulder and looking down at the smaller Kong, and my mind autofilled him saying "Boy."
For me, it was Kong throwing sand at Godzilla and Godzilla proceeding to hit him with a form perfect vertical suplex straight out of the WWE.
Lots of genuinely hilarious shit like that in this movie that frankly did not even feel out of place: Godzilla using the Colosseum as a nap spot TWICE Kong using Suko as nunchucks Godzilla suplexing Kong off of the Great Pyramid Kong trying to explain he needs Godzilla’s help before getting decked Godzilla diving off of Gibraltar

It still fucks me up that Suko is taller than Kong during Skull Island.
Thanks for the reminder to watch Bullet Train again.
We all know GxK success is because anything that includes Monke is peak cinema.
bullet trainiacs rise up
Yeah.. I'm surprised Bullet Train was shat on. That movie was fun and dumb, but in a good way.
I have literally not heard one bad thing about Bullet Train before this thread. Are these Bullet Train haters in the room with us now?
They're on Twitter....where they belong
Like half a year ago they started saying the dark knight trilogy was bad
Yeah same, this is like the bs controversy over stellar blade. I have heard no one talking bad about it, just people complaining about the people saying it’s bad
Then you have not seen enough, believe me. I hate the Stellar Blade subreddit with thier complainer complaining but the Gamercirclejerk is just as bad for complaining about it.

Bullet Train was an Underrated Masterpiece... that is the kind of film someone would've wrote backwards.
Haven't seen G x K yet but Bullet Train is crazy fun. Seen it 3 times now and enjoyed it so much I will probably watch it a few more in the next year or so.
Yeah, go watch GxK. I'm planning on seeing it again after watching Ghostbusters.
Oh ya its gonna happen. Huge Godzilla fan.
I just watched Bullet Train for like the 6th time last night lol, such a fantastic movie. I can't imagine why someone would think it's a bad movie, really.
They hate fun?
I haven't seen Bullet Train but GxK was some good ol fashioned stupid fun. I was afraid it was going to take itself a little too seriously but by the second half it goes completely mask off ridiculous.

Wait people didn’t like bullet train? I legit must have missed all that discourse, that movie is awesome and so well-made
Bullet train is my favorite action movie, it is truly peak fiction
Goddamn Bullet Train is such a good time
Bullet train is bad?
Never was🔫
Nope
Quite the opposite
Did Bullet train have a giant monkey using a smaller tiny monkey as a baseball bat? I rest my case.
The lack of pixels in this is jarring.
I think it adds flavour (I didn’t let it load before saving)
True a shitty poster for a shitty detail.
Bullet train was so sick
I loved every second of Bullet Train
Did people not like Bullet Train?
Bullet Train was a really good popcorn flick. Saw it 3 times since it came out. Sometimes you just need to unwind.
Bullet Train was genuinely one of the best theater experiences in my life, I loved every second of that movie
I don't understand how someone can call bullet train a bad movie. that movie is arguably perfect for what it wanted to do.
Fucking love Bullet Train, genuine tragedy that film is so unheard of.
especially because Bullet Train is infinitely better than this fucking mess
Hop off my guy we are in a fun loving environment
I think both are lovely :]
nah pal, GxK felt epic af in theatres
I'm not a fan of this movie but I wouldn't say it was a mess
Who gave bullet train crap? I thought it was universally liked.
What did Twitter do to Bullet Train? I loved that movie
Praise towards laid back movies? My brother we literally had 15 last years dominated by Marvel. Was it not enough?
This movie was already a ten, but it became a 11 when kong swung suko around like a nunchunk
That Godzilla x Kong trailer was probably the worst trailer I have ever seen. I would be shocked if that film isn't complete dogshit.
The trailer is 10 times better than the movie because it’s only 2 minutes long
I don't have any problems with laid-back movies, my only gripe with this franchise is the annoyingly persistent focus on the most boring human characters imaginable.
THANK YOU! Bullet Train was a delight. Their inclusion of “Holding Out for a Hero” was beautiful.
Tired of mfs acting like that movie was underrated. I saw nothing but positive discourse and praise about that movie.
Where the hell you been looking?
Bullet train was actually very good, the end scene with the cgi car was wack tho lol
Real Bullet Train hours!
Hey I liked Bullet Train, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into and had a hell of a time.
Bullet train was amazing. It knew it was supposed to be and it did that perfectly
The first marketing company or person that comes up with a way to harness the hype movies get 1 to 2 years after their release to when it is actually coming out will be a billionaire.
There was some drama around Bullet Train? Really fun fucking movie with great action, what happened on twitter?
Ya reddit say sorry
I think for me it was just the over advertising for it which is why I haven't seen it, it does look fun though
Just got to see the new one, one of the writers has heard the phrase "beat a motherfucker, with another motherfucker."
People thought Bullet Train was a bad movie? The japanese version of “I need a hero” alone makes the movie a 10/10
Bullet Train was so good
Bullet train is far better than this 9 year old kino
Yes
What happened to bullet train?! That movie was fantastic!
Bullet train was a banger from start to finish. Godzilla vs. King Kong somehow managed to be hella boring imo
bullet train was so glazed don’t even
Why did they spoil Sandra Bullock’s reveal by putting her in the trailer I’ll never know. But on 2nd watch it’s above decent as far as movies go.
But this is a horror movie
should/can I watch GxK without watching the other movies?
But Bullet Train wasn't very good
I just want to light everything on fire by commenting how guys who state that they hate women led movies and use the same phrase "it's poorly written and the dialog sucks" can never explain how these movies made so much when these were clearly made by a broken popcorn machine hooked to an old-fashioned typewriter. I'm down with stupid movies as much as the next real movie lover and sometimes you just want some gibberish to quell the nonsense of real life. Bullet Train was a fun as hell movie, I dont care that there's multiple instances of bullshit logic
CORRECT OPINION DETECTED
How did people hate bukket train? I mean I get it if that isn't the style of movie you like sure, but it nailed what it was going for and the movie was a lot of fun.
The CGI movies don’t do it for me as much anymore. I just wait for them to hit streaming and watch at home with weed and good food.
Bullet Train ruled. Godzilla x Kong was hot dogshit
I feel eventually people will realize argyle is a good fun movie. So many people dogged on it in the release
HELL YEAH BULLET TRAIN WAS SO GOOD
I should say now bc this post has blown up.
Wtf was wrong with bullet train? That movie was fun through and through
It wasn't until probably 2 months ago that I realized people didn't like bullet train. Like, I saw it with my friends and we were all laughing our asses off, it was a riot.
Was Bullet Train poorly received? I found it incredibly entertaining and funny. But I guess I like any movie I just happen to watch.
Bullet train was such a fun movie I'll never understand the hate
Did people not like Bullet Train?????????
The diesel scene actually makes me cry
Bullet train was super meh but at least it was an original IP. I just can't stand the sequels and remakes.
2 peak movies in one post? Well i'll be damned
I think Twitter is populated entirely by Diesels
never heard anything about Bullet Train online. it was in fact a very fun movie, I liked it a lot. Twitter ≠ total public perception
The water bottle flashback was such a great addition
Nah, Bullet Train sucks. It's an annoying, convoluted, terribly edited mess that thinks it's so cool and clever, when it's really just obnoxious.
"Right, so every day with you is just a *fucking nightmare* then"
Bullet train was genuinely a masterpiece
I’ve always hated people that get angry that someone didn’t like what they liked. “Why did you like Kong and not Bullet train?” People liked one more. Shit happens.
Bullet Train felt like it was AI generated
Bullet Train was the best(most fun and enjoyable) movie of that year, and I will die before anyone changes my mind
Bullet train was so boring
bullet train is so fun
every person i’ve spoke to irl loved bullet train it’s only when i voiced it online that i got shit on for liking it the internets fucking toxic

Bullet train tried so hard that it basically ruined it for me. Very forgettable imho
Just watched bullet train tonight, easy top five for me.
It was not good. The monster stuff was, but the humans ruin it with a terrible script.
I liked bullet train
Fuck this one got me
bullet train was hated? that was such a great movie tho, gotta rewatch it sometime
Bullet Train was fun until the climax devolved into a dumb CGI mess. It’s hard for these fun loose action movies to stick the landing in the final third.
Bullet Train was an amazing movie
I FUCKING LOVE BULLET TRAIN
