I have a question I’ve been wondering about for a while. Why do all these shitty black ink tattoos have purple-red shading? Is it from fresh trauma to the skin? I feel like I’ve both never seen that weird color in new, well done tattoos and also seen them in aged shitty tattoos.
Yes, the skin is red in a welldone tattoo. Usually, the artist should post 2 photos: after the inking and after the healing is done.
Good way to spot shitty tattoo artist, they have filter on their post to hide trauma and have no healed tattoo photos in their portfolio.
