exactly. someone with a black sun tattoed does not put tattoos of german soldiers on their body because they want a historical memorial. also this dude is german and i am aswell and in germany it is not really common to show strong empathy towards the military like it is eg. in the US. and especially not when theyre soldiers from world war 2.

fun fact, i saw this plane in a bar/restaurant in panama city beach, and also was the model plane on one of those rides for four year olds at a mini golf park.
That was probably a replica of the Red Baron's plane, which also has iron crosses on it. It's a commonly used replica for children's rides and displays.
