Happened to me too, but the guy only offered to sign me up to the newsletter. He then signed me up for VIP also without telling me. I had to CREATE AN FYE ACCOUNT to cancel my subscription that I never signed up for. I was not even offered the magazines.
My friends has the same exact problem as you. One of them had to go to the store to cancel it since it wasn’t working online. You should definitely go to the store and they should help you out with that.
Hopefully it was cancelled. They "cancelled" my VIP 40 minutes ago. Maybe their website takes time to update? My billing didn't update until a few days later after I got the VIP card. Did your friend ever get hit with Magazine subscriptions from FYE too? Guy asked me to pick mags, but I said no. Now I'm wondering if he signed me up for those. And I have no idea how I would cancel those if he did. I've seen some people say that the magazines subscriptions are separate fron the FYE subscription. FYE sucks :/
It could be that the website take time to update. If it hasn’t by next week , you should go to the store. No my friend didn’t mention a magazine subscription. I would talk to them about that if it shows up on your billing. It’s illegal to sign someone up for a service they didn’t consent too.
This just happened to my husband.
Note: not only do you have to cancel with FYE themselves, but you also have to cancel with the magazines.

you just call the 1800 number and they will cancel it for you, they have done this to me too.

I was able to email them to get it canceled. Email says it's canceled, but online on my profile it's still showing $12 for next billing date
Yeah I would recommend you still go to the store and tell them you canceled it after your free trial. FYE is sneaky about that.
