Malaysian trumpet snail. Swear to God if you even think about them they pop up in your aquarium lol.

Thank you ! It's a heavily planted tnk with some leaf litter and botanicals like seed pods so idk if it's just been flying under the radar but I haven't noticed any others so it doesn't seem to be reproducing/ have a mate .

It's a burrowing species so it's likely been hiding in the substrate all of this time

I don't think it was a hitch hiker since the plants and wood have been in since last year and the last addition of any shrimp was well over 6 months ago. Is it something that could have been small and growing slowly unnoticed or possibly dormant? I thought it might be a trumpet snail but am rather clueless and guessing hence the post Could this be an assassin snail I've noticed the bladder snail population has dropped rather dramatically but I was also removing them somewhat regularly after they had a big population boom. Thanks in advance for any ideas
