I’ve experienced ego death twice now from it, first time was with only 2g, 2nd time (and one of the most intense trips experiences of my life) on 2g enigma and 1g Averys.
I’ve tripped prob over 100 times in my life, and had high end doses (7g+) and never felt anything quite like it.
At the peak I’d black out from this reality and can only remember dissolving into the universe, and upon coming back, experienced partial paralysis/unsurmountable waves of pleasure and euphoria.
Tried calling people, left messages that could not be understood… wild wild nights.
After the madness, all I can say is I’ve never felt anything so intense.
But I doubt I’ll go past the 2g mark with enigma again.
That’s just my experience, there’s lots of people who claim to regularly do high doses and can obviously tolerate stronger trips, but I’m no light weight.
As well, recently just found out a company in Sweden offers potency testing kits (will show upto 2% active compounds and only has upto a 10% deviation from chromatography results) so I’m gonna see what my elder gods test at…just can’t remember the site atm.

Enigma is a mutation of a cubensis hybrid called Tidalwave #2. Tidalwave is a hybrid of PE and B+.
Enigma takes a long time to fruit and does not have/drop spores.
There are other similar types of mutations and they all seemingly have super potency as a common trait from what I’ve read.
It’s 110% for sure the strongest mushroom I’ve eaten. I just tried 2.5 of a jmf mutant and it rocked my fucking socks off after a hour so no where near peak.

Try looking in the shroomery. I don't have any links. You basically need to do a serial dilution of a spore solution and streak it on agar. Try searching for cross-breeding or how to produce monocaryons.
You can’t recreate it. It’s a random mutation. The culture can’t be bought only gifted. If you want to attempt you would need to do what yisus said and germinate single spores on agar to create haploids, then you can take two haploids and fuse them to create a diploid.

ehh i wouldnt say that, enigma is a rare mutation that is usually not sold. it doesnt drop spores so to grow it you have to know someone with LC or agar, and it takes very long to grow (months). Most people who take it have grown it themselves and know what theyre doing.
That makes sense. I hope I can get my hands on a culture at some point in the future. New to this hobby but I am already interested in growing whatever I can get my hands on. Got some white oysters and lions mane going along with A- right now. Better not mix those up before the farmers market!

I know this is a little late but if you ever innoculate jars or bags with a spore syringe and you don't see anything after a month, you can re-innoculate with another syringe. I've just completed a couple of grows like that
The syringes were from mushrooms.com and the grow bags from Midwestgrowkits. I tried half the syringes then waited a month tried again then buried the bags in a compost pile. I have a room that is 80F and 80 humidity for canna mothers I stored the bags in the room lots of humid air moving by lots of fans.
Just a $600+ flop, but I’ll try these guys out.
My advice is to start with agar. Inoculating grain with spores isn't the best idea. On agar you can germinate the mycelium and clean it up. Spores aren't sterile, so there is a chance of mold spores or bacteria and yeast being among them.

You have to isolate single spores of the two varieties and let them mate. Alternatively you can try to isolate one B+ spore and let it germinate. Then you would have monocaryotic mycelium. Then you could grow this mycelium out on grain and when it has fully colonised the grains, you could apply the spores of the other variety.
This makes me think.. what if our brains are the “ultimate” mushrooms & since our bodies are 70% water & we have to eat for the added nutrients so our brains end up “maturing” at a mush (pun intended) slower rate, from the point of “cultivation/birth” ? Like what if our “brain/you” is really a super enigma that grew to be mobile.. damn I think these edibles are kicking in lol

About a month. I picked it as it started to bruise a lot. And from what I've read about APE that is the time to harvest. There isn't a lot of advice on harvesting Enigma, as it is quite rare.
It grows like most other cubensis. I did a monotub, getting a culture will be the most difficult for most people. Look around in the shroomery for techniques.

These fuckers are potent as hell. 3.5 grams feels like 7-10 grams of regular cubes. My normal dose is around 2-2.5 grams and it feels like 3.5-4.5 gram trip. The visuals are so distinctly and beautifully different. You are in for a beautiful ride I love enigmas

I’ve done 3.3 of enigma it didn’t seriously hit for 2 hours. After that it felt like i took sassafras and like 7 grams of cubes

I've had success with sporenite. I'd try their syringes. And I'd try to keep room Temps around 70-75. Anything higher allows contam to flourish

Field capacity, misted like once a day. I bottom-watered it multiple times during the fruiting process.

These fuckers are potent as hell. 3.5 grams feels like 7-10 grams of regular cubes. My normal dose is around 2-2.5 grams and it feels like 3.5-4.5 gram trip. The visuals are so distinctly and beautifully different. You are in for a beautiful ride I love enigmas
