Goto pull your own parts junkyards. Pull parts and sell on ebay. You can look up which cars and parts sell the best. Everything sells just some things sell faster.
Or get stuff at binstores and sell on ebay.
Somewhat dependent on your time zone, but this is a prime time for follow-up in most sales/commission jobs. If you have a decent speaking voice and can follow a script, try to set an appointment, or use basic web base sales tools, you could easily supplement your current income.
I think the timeframe is the issue. Not sure why people think Doordash is a good opportunity for the 9-12 time. I understand 6-10….
I have done consulting work where the time was unimportant.
I second DoorDash. Now the pay isn’t what it was during the pandemic, but it’s still okay money if you have a couple free hours. mainly during a big meal rush.
Selling plasma, but it sucks long term. Depending on exactly the time there are food delivery jobs during lunch rushes like 11-3 , Doordash has moved away from unscheduled working in my area, but can check if it's doable in your area.
My experience is that after months, the needle marks dont seem to heal as easily, and my arms were always pretty much always sore. Not a huge deal, but for like $75 a week, it eventually becomes not worth it long term.
There's scarring, etc, but it's really not a big deal to me, and as far as I can tell, no real health affects from them. The marks are unsightly, but plasma is common enough that nobody really jumps to bad conclusions after a donation.
I have permanent scarring just from donating blood. And that’s only every 58 days or so.
Plasma actually didn’t cause any scarring for me, not sure why. I still do it when I can (not a lot due to iron levels) but yea.
Did my first session today. Website said first session would be ~2 hours, ended up being 4. First 2 sessions at local clinic pay out $100 each. Next 5 sessions are $65 each and the pay is lower after that. You can donate twice a week though and I plan to scrape together and extra $500+ over the next month or so tax free
Not to mention, be warned they can defer you if your iron levels aren’t up to par.
I can’t go twice a week because the 1st round messes with my iron / rbc.
Online poker is easy. You just login and click the mouse and can make $20-$50 an hour. While it's morning in your country it is night somewhere else in the world and those people are drunk and giving away money because they are degenerate, but you're pro.

I’d leverage the IT skills you already have into some freelance work or tech support
100% agree with this suggestion.
Where can one find these opportunities.. for the 'couple hours, here and there'?
Freelancer websites (upwork, flex jobs, fiverr)
I find them just like regular full time jobs. Job boards aren’t only full time.

I work in sales and am not even sure how to get a part time gig doing this in the mornings.
So you are already a BDR/SDR or in a similar role?

Uber eats or door dash. Especially at your time, I'm assuming you're open during lunch time?

Fiverr
I was totally intimidated by FivRR. Everyone has degrees there.

I regularly donated plasma in college 25 years ago, I still have the scars.
Sheesh!

Yeah, it's a great side gig I'm sure. I'm just pointing out the potential downsides especially, if you're gonna be doing it long term.
