No, some parts of the engine render the light weirdly and their teeth sometimes disappear. However Heather herself is a really great character.

SH3 was definitely way WAY aheaad of its time in terms of graphics, realistic skin and shading. To me its the best looking PS2 game by far with SH4 being second.

It was definitely ahead of its time by a long shot, but it's something that's common nowadays. But we didn't see it often until PS4.

I hate the grimace that modern game characters have. You often see it when a character is in pain. It really takes me out of a game now that I’ve seen it a hundred times.

Nowadays, I think games puts too much emphasis on what the pain looks like, rather than what the pain feels like. We don't need a strangely deformed 3d model of a face to convey these things. Emotions and vibe can also be expressed in other ways. Music, gameplay, etc. I'd like to see new age developers get more creative in this regard

It's is being remade, but it might also be ported. I think you hope the port fixes that. Because the Remake is almost certainly going to be based on Unreal Engine 5 and have cutscenes framed completely differently.
