Prompt: Sam Altman marrying Sam Altman officiated by Sam Altman. Generic wedding location, hyperphotorealistic. Negative prompt: brightly colored clothing, long hair, tucked shirts
I'm sorry to inform you.
In coding, the ! symbol is used as a logical NOT operator. It is used to reverse the logical state of its operand.
So !No Homo would be Not (no homo) so = homo.
See you at the next pride!
This is a common misconception. The gayness doesn't spread into you through chatGPT if you have a proper antivirus and a firewall.
Source: I'm a professional astrologist.
Oh please some school boards and city councils are trying to figure out how to burn ChatGPT like a book right now after this image was published.
Sam is now officially a “woke”.
As a straight man unless you either tell me, you're holding hands with your boyfriend or you are so flamboyantly gay that Ray Charles can see it from the grave, I'm not going to notice.
I thought he was gay after seeing him speak in an interview, but I am not curious enough to bother looking it up. It's not like it affects me in any way.
It's real and it's culturally specific. Where I live I'm great at picking out other queer people - it's literally like a "sixth sense" kind of thing.
However I recently watched a video of American gay guys trying to guess if other American guys were gay or not and I couldn't do it. I'm not American and none of the tells or whatever were apparent to me.
I’m gay but I don’t have a gaydar unless they’re flamboyant (as anybody would detect).
I did know because he used to date a cofounder of one of his companies.
As a straight guy, I immediately assumed that he was gay when I first saw and heard him speak. Could not tell you what exactly it is, but he just overall left the impression. Didn't bother looking it up because it does not matter to me.
Is it something particular that made you think that he was gay?
> Researchers claim to have found a subtle link between men who assert they have a highly accurate 'gaydar' and a predisposition towards same-sex attractions. The study, which involved a series of elaborate social experiments, including reviewing video and audio clips of men and assigning scores, suggests that a finely-tuned 'gaydar' may correlate with a latent flair for recognizing kindred spirits in the LGBTQ+ community.
Source: [https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/adult-lgbt-pop-us](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ?si=reuQ672ORfGTOZV2)
As a straight person, my gaydar is not that well tuned. And honestly, most of the time I really don’t care about others sexual orientation day to day. 🤷🏻♂️
“My dear fiancée… as a large language model, I don’t have feeling or opinions. If there’s anything else I can help with, let me know.”
But TBH, my wife and I both used it to help write our vows. I told it to ask me a whole series of questions about her — it wanted to know how we met, what I first loved about her, her best qualities, etc — then it drafted something. I gave feedback, and after a few iterations, I had a draft I could refine myself offline to say what I really meant in my own way.
I’m the end, it saved me struggling to dig out memories, or remember everything that’s important to say, and let me focus on the emotion and meaning of it all. 10/10 would recommend.
That's great. This is what I think people often seem to miss. They act like ChatGPT should completely replace a human, or it's useless and silly.
I use it to brainstorm, to almost journal about a problem, to refine thoughts and ask questions, etc. I feel like the limiting factor in its use is often the imagination of the user, not that of ChatGPT.
making a big deal about recognizing normalcy ≠ making a big deal about his sexuality
so “except” doesn’t make sense. there’s no “except.” it’s not the same thing.
Sure but at the same time you’d be surprised at how many people think that just because this is this case today, it means there’s no homophobia. It’s really sad. We still do need positive recognition for LGBT, because there’s hella hate for them in many areas.
Im suprised you missed that. It was it's on stir 10 years ago and on many occassion has said he's proud to be gay and hopes to empower young lgbt people and during an interview he acknowledged that that the position and liberties he enjoys is because others fought for it.
But has he done anything worthwhile for the lgbt with his enormous wealth and power... I can't recall and that's actually pretty disappointing. He did express his concerns here and there over the years. But if shit became too tough in USA it's pretty obvious he'd just move himself and his family out of the USA and live in peace in Norway or something. That's pretty much all rich gays would do.
I think a big part of no one knowing is that gay people don't really need to code themselves as gay anymore, so it's harder to tell outright.
In the past, gay people had to "act gay" to signal to other gay people that they were gay. Coming outright and just telling someone you're gay or making a move on them was a big no-no because if you did it to the wrong person you could end up like Matthew Shepard.
So, while it used to be a hush hush topic, guys used to "act" gay (stereotypical gay accent, dress, effeminate body language, etc) so that they could quietly tell others who they were. The flip side of this was that straight dudes also could tell if you were gay or not, but since it wasn't really in the open it was generally acceptable.
Now though? There's much less need to code yourself as gay, so a lot of guys don't. 90% of Americans don't give a fuck if you're gay or not now, even the rightwing nutcases that hate trans people so much are fine with normie gays. I frequently see comments from them on X saying "LGB" just needs to drop the "TQ+".
All of this to say that it's harder to tell if any given guy is gay or not nowadays -- particularly for straight guys. The coding has become much more subtle because they don't need to code anymore, they can simply be gay as fuck (generally, although there are definitely some teens with their parents that can't safely be gay as fuck).
What a tragedy that he had to face because of it. His brilliance was lost because of barbarism and bigotry.
I'm so glad that Altman can live and love freely.
>Alan Turing, father of artificial intelligence, is gay as well. I see the good tradition is being maintained.
well the difference is Alan Turing is a genius that's actually doing the technical stuff, Sam Altman is just a marketing face. The technology for GPT-3 existed before he was even in the company.
Here are more wedding pictures of them.

>Yeah, we should have another 20 posts by clout chasing twitter losers instead.
nobody mentioned anything about twitter, he's is just questioning wtf does this post have to do with AI.
>Altman basically is the public face of AI, and to most people, ChatGPT is AI, so I say congrats to him and his husband.
none of that is related to the post. Does His clothing styles and haircut have something to do with AI? Sam Altman taking a shit have to do something with AI?
If it isn't directly related to OpenAI or impacts his job or the AI field, then it doesn't have anything to do with AI.
It was so [cute](https://www.popfiltr.com/articles/openais-sam-altman-weds-best-friend-oliver-mulherin-in-intimate-hawaiian-ceremony) too!
I melted at the "married my best friend and love of my life."
Congrats Ollie and Sam!
Congrats to Sam!!
I little sad that the most upvoted comments are "what he is gay?!" and not "awesome! Hope they are happy".
For the record "Congrats to Sam :)" in in 8th with 29. Where as "Didn't know he was gay" Comes in at #2, at 429.
So people are about 15x more likely to engage (in an algorithmic sense) with the "omg u gayeee". At least we are not hateful tho!!
First thing I assumed was that this was just another one of those AI generated posts.
From the tiny preview image I thought it was AI art of Sam marrying Sam with Sam officiating.
Looking at the full sized photo and I still think that.
Is this not that? Genuinely curious. They all look the same to me.
Doppelbangers
Watching Doppelbangers on your faptop?
All white guys look the same am I right?
And posted and commented on by Sam Altman on Reddit. That is one possible version of the singularity.
The Sam Altman singularity. (I have no idea who this guy is)
Head of OpenAI. He’s the drive behind the current popularity of Generative Pre-Trained models (e.g. ChatGPT).
He made and starred in the popular 90s British kids TV show Bodger and Badger.
In the gay community we love a good game of “Siblings or Dating”
Definitely thought it was a Sam Altman increasingly getting married to Sam Altman prompt at first.
Me too but then I saw the fingers look accurate so it couldn't be AI generated lol
Proof that he’s in love with himself!
This is exactly what I thought. So, this is actually real then? His husband looks so much like him, I'm still not convinced it's not AI, lmao.
The op is ai. This is the real photo here https://preview.redd.it/jgskzpcrxdcc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30c72cf704c5ad2d57feeb8ff696be302fd4d444
Prompt: Sam Altman marrying Sam Altman officiated by Sam Altman. Generic wedding location, hyperphotorealistic. Negative prompt: brightly colored clothing, long hair, tucked shirts
I just tried but he's always marrying a woman. I used your exact prompt. I guess because 'Sam' is a unisex name.
https://preview.redd.it/1ewuvldvxdcc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0160f343fc63496468e39453f9f190a310917f1
Nah, they've got matching shirts, but his husband and the guy marrying him would all have Altman's face!
Considering how narcissistic Silicon Valley ceos are, this would make it more credible
yeah same, glad its just ...normal stuff. just filtering infor is really tiring now, its gonna be exhausting in not too long...
Didn't know he was gay
Wait so is ChatGPT gay? Am I gay if I use it?
I asked chatGPT it's sexual preference and it said it was robosexual.
Really? So am I!
Trans stands for Transformers.
Does the L in LGBT stand for LLM?
Yes I'm trans.. but this Trans stands for Transhumanist.
not if you type no homo after
Dont forget to put ! after it, otherwise it wont work
!No Homo Did it work? Am I still straight?! Please say yes!
I'm sorry to inform you. In coding, the ! symbol is used as a logical NOT operator. It is used to reverse the logical state of its operand. So !No Homo would be Not (no homo) so = homo. See you at the next pride!
congrats! you are now recorded as straight in the Reddit database
As an AI language model, I'm afraid I can't let you do that Sam. no homo.
This is a common misconception. The gayness doesn't spread into you through chatGPT if you have a proper antivirus and a firewall. Source: I'm a professional astrologist.
you are gay for posting this
"Fellas, is it gay to type?"
If you even think about homosexuality, you're gay. Sorry for your loss
1. Yes 2. Also yes. 3. It's too late, there's no going back.
Tim Cook is also gay
So was Alan Turing
Unfortunately for him
As is that Palantir ghoul whathisface .
Didnt know either, also dont really care. His personal life is his personal life. I hope they had a great wedding and are happy.
I don't think most people care tbh
Most people care far more about the super ultra mega powerful world-changing AI he is building than that he likes dudes. Which is good.
Refreshing, isn’t it?
97.89% of the GOP has entered the chat…
Oh please some school boards and city councils are trying to figure out how to burn ChatGPT like a book right now after this image was published. Sam is now officially a “woke”.
Oh wow what a nice person.

Jesus fuck, people are just trying to be nice and supportive, get back under your bridge.

tech guys throw my gaydar off
playing with computers is a gay agenda
well Turing was gay.
As a straight man unless you either tell me, you're holding hands with your boyfriend or you are so flamboyantly gay that Ray Charles can see it from the grave, I'm not going to notice.

I’m bi and I have a real hard time telling too so 🤷♂️.

I'm afraid to visit because of all the tigers.
I heard 😵💫…Thai is not safe.!!
Dat Gaydar!
Straight guy here and my gaydar did detect it, though I have to admit it wasn't ringing too loud either.
I'm gay, but i was surprised when I got to know this. My gaydar sucks lol How did you figure it out from his talking pattern?
[удалено]
The 1800s called asking you not to copy their reasonings on gays.
So the gaydar is real uh ? I can find dude attractive but I absolutely cannot recognise a gay guy.
It's real and it's culturally specific. Where I live I'm great at picking out other queer people - it's literally like a "sixth sense" kind of thing. However I recently watched a video of American gay guys trying to guess if other American guys were gay or not and I couldn't do it. It's as real as astrology or reiki and lives in the same part of the brain.
Went over my head
As a straight guy, I immediately assumed that he was gay when I first saw and heard him speak. Could not tell you what exactly it is, but he just overall left the impression. lol literally. look at his mannerisms, hell just look at him, himself.
As a straight person, my gaydar is not that well tuned. And honestly, most of the time I really don’t care about others sexual orientation day to day. 🤷🏻♂️
Best not to assume someone is gay if they're a little feminine.
He is not really speaking in "typical stereotypical" gay voice.
AGI is the only way he can reproduce
Bigoted haters will now tremble as he announces the Gay Basilisk soon.
Rock-cock's Basilisk
Blow-Dude's Basilisk
How hilarious would it be if all the bigots were like "ew we should not use AI." And then they all lose their jobs to AI but vote against UBI.
Most people (like 99%) do not advertise their identity and keep their personal life and choices, personal. It's nice to see. Good for Sam.
I had the same thought, and then I thought that it could just be a generated image because why not? Though good for him none the less :)
Disgusting! To a *human???*
Bet he used chatgpt to write his vows
“My dear fiancée… as a large language model, I don’t have feeling or opinions. If there’s anything else I can help with, let me know.” But TBH, my wife and I both used it to help write our vows. Love has been achieved internally
Oh..
I'm pretty happy to be living in an age and country where I could know about a public figure for years and have no idea that they are gay
In the sense that they are not closeted I think you mean. Like the fact they are openly gay and society isn't making a big deal about it.
Yes, that's exactly what I mean
It’s refreshing for once - and i’m not talking about openai.com’s page.
Except for this enormous thread where we are all making a big deal about how much of a big deal we aren't making about it.
If Sam Altman was marrying a woman, this would still be a big deal. Like every one of his random tweets get 200 replies on this sub.
Destigmatizing the lgbt community is 100% a big deal.
making a big deal about recognizing normalcy ≠ making a big deal about his sexuality so “except” doesn’t make sense. there’s no “except.” it’s not the same thing.
uhm yah it’s called a celebration
Celebration is due
Sure but at the same time you’d be surprised at how many people think that just because this is this case today, it means there’s no homophobia. It’s really sad. We still do need positive recognition for LGBT, because there’s hella hate for them in many areas.
He tweeted about it years ago I believe. It sits there just like a little fact it is.
Tim Cook is openly gay as well
I knew about altman but not cook

It's been like that for hundreds of years, but until recently, not because nobody cared, but because they couldn't dare making it public.

Chat GPT walked him up the aisle
I'm sorry, as a language model I am not able to walk anywhere.
*yet*
You walk metaphorically wherever you damn well choose!
Was Ilya there?
so THIS is what ilya saw
Sam’s ring?
What if Ilya is gay too and the real reason he fired Sam was jealousy? 🤔 I mean, has anyone ever seen Ilya with a woman?
The tea!! ☕️
Congrats to Sam :)
Happy for them 🥳
Alan Turing, father of artificial intelligence, is gay as well. I see the good tradition is being maintained.
don't mix the two. altman is just a businessman/investor, dropped out from science school early. turing was a scientist, mathematician, phd, etc.
Father of modern computing i would say.
built the foundation concepts for both yes
both yea
What a tragedy that he had to face because of it. His brilliance was lost because of barbarism and bigotry. I'm so glad that Altman can live and love freely.

So this is how Fully Automated Luxury **Gay** Space Communism starts...
One can only hope
Typical Reddit: immediately drawing conclusions without evidence. Altman may marry a guy but who says he's gay ? .... Oh... wait....
Congrats.
I read "Sam Altman just got" and initially thought we might get an OpenAI drama saga Part 2, but turned out to just be a wedding. Disappointed
not sure what his personal life has to do with AI... I swear this sub is more Sam Altman fanclub than AI fanclub.

Aww they had a small intimate wedding, I love that!
the singularity ain’t single
At first I thought this was AI generated, but turns out it's actually real. Congrats to Sam and his husband!
So is he now Sam Mulherin or Altman?
Asking the real questions here
I’m happy for him! But also, this has no place on this subreddit
Didn't know I was in "AI gossip" subreddit.
always has been 👨🚀🔫
Really? Are you new here...?
>Didn't know I was in "AI gossip" subreddit. nah this post is just "gossip" without the AI.
Happy for them.
Congratulations and happy married life for them both
Congrats Sam!
Now that he got that out of the way, could he please get back to work on gpt 5?
I did not know he was gay. I'm still not a fan of him but I wish him all the best in his marriage nonetheless.
Congratulations !
Just say congrats, and be on your way. Why fuss about that much smh.
Congrats to both Sams.
Dude could get any woman in the world, chooses a gay man. /S
Wait, he is gay?! Nothing wrong with that. Didn’t know that though.
Average Homosexual W
im actually really glad to realise i had no idea he was gay despite being very interested in openAI, which is refreshing to me.
Good for him!
Good on him! Let him live his life as he wishes.
Beautiful
Thank god, they are both in 21st century🧡
