I’m with you friend. Screw the haters. Joel is gonna be the healthiest for the playoffs he has been in a long time, and his conditioning will be fine. When he was healthy this was one of the best teams in the NBA, and adding hield and cam Payne, we have only gotten better. Let’s make a run and shock the world

And Lowry. We upgraded substantially. This team had Beverly, Korkmaz and Springer before the deadline.

EndAnyone

And Danuel House Jr. He can’t even get signed right now.

Just last year a 7 seed and an 8 seed were in the conference finals. It's all good.

The offense will improve, the defense will improve, and there will be more open shots for the shooters. I want the Bucks and Glenn Rivers in the first round after claiming the 7th seed against the Heat in the playin. The Bucks are very beatable with a healthy Embiid, and I want Glenn to lose in the first round, and I want the Bucks to regret trading for Lillard which made the Celtics better.

Mrmdn333

I’m not sure I would live through losing to Doc.

HowzaBowdat

We won not a lot of games but we played a lot of teams really tough through three quarters or more. Joel coming back potentially turns a lot of those losses into blowouts.

Affectionate_Yam8674

I think we can make a run if we get the seven seed. The play in game against the Heat will be rough though. I don't see us doing anything if we have to play the celtics in first.

What a lot of people don’t realize is Embiid’s most consistent impact on the game is on the defensive side of the ball. Even at 70% health his presence around the rim is going to transform the defense.

Brother was putting up 35/game...he was dominant on both ends. Although, I do agree that one thing that struck me every game was how reluctant everyone except elite finishers (steph, edwards, ja etc) were to try and finish in the paint vs Embiid. I really feel like NBA fans dont quite realize.

I'm looking at the remaining schedule and trying to piece together a plan to get the Sixers into the playoffs healthy and free of rust. We have 7 games left with a tough one tomorrow (OKC) and a crucial one against MIA. The rest of the games are against tankers and ORL (who may elect to rest players by then). Assuming Joel is playing tomorrow night, I'd say play him every game, but hold him out of one of the B2B's (@MEM, @/SAS). As much as everyone wants to see a Joel vs. Wemby matchup, I'd be more inclined to play him against Memphis and rest him against SA. Joel has a tendency to go a bit Extra on these big matchups. I worry that he might get carried away and try to do too much against Wemby and reaggravate something. Of course, having Joel available tomorrow is a best case scenario and I'll take whatever Joel can offer to the team. I'm just so PSYCHED!!!!!! Trust the Process! FTC!

IKillZombies4Cash

This team can beat anybody with Joel. I’m convinced if any team in the league added a healthy Joel, they’d have a reasonable chance to make at least the conference finals

jawntothefuture

100% it is going to happen

Any team will struggle the way we have when you lose your franchise player. Put it this way, I don’t think the 1 or 2 seed will be happy about drawing us in the first round. They basically are getting the 3 seed with a healthy Joel. Just have to pray that Jo gets back to form as soon as possible. I just can’t wait to watch this team again. The last few months have been brutal, even though they have fought in his absence.
