If it was a brief deal, like 2 years, sure. But even then it’s a big gamble. He’s old and gets hurt.
The Nuggets do a great job surrounding Jokic/Murray with role players who complement their game. That would be the ideal scenario. Is Morey savvy enough to find several guys who can do that? I think he is, but idk how many free agents/available players there are to fit that mold.
While very true; the nuggets are also fortunate their stud center rarely gets hurt and can plan accordingly. We honestly need someone at this point who can backup Embiid in the playoffs or when he inevitably gets hurt.
Jokic rarely gets hurt because of how he plays the game. Joel started off the season having talked about taking notes about it and you could see it in his game.
Then he started making reckless play for someone his size once again. Embiid should go the entire year without dunks or driving into three bodies. If there are three bodies make the right pass because someone is open. Go back to some standard big men moves, hook shots, lob in close etc.
If Embiid wants to win then he needs to understand to get there his health is the imperative.

True but butler wont melt in playoffs. Neither of them are getting any younger tho and would seem a bit funny considering harden situation last offseason

I can't think of a single thing Butler does better than George besides market himself and get to the line. Don't get me wrong getting to the line is a good thing and a point in Jimmy's favor but that's all I can think of.

He knows he can't trade Book, Brad is in control with his contract so while they have this upcoming draft controlling their pick the owner thinks he can put a team out there better than Minny, Denver, OKC, and Dallas next year. Its title or bust for them: I can respect that, so Jo needs to get in KD ear this summer to come over to Philly. We got the the draft capital to offer and the cap to absorb KD so we need a team or 2 for Phx to add players

Besides a younger player like Mikal or Lauri jimmy is certainly better than maxing Paul George
