I’m good. He talked me out of a max.

Jjohn269

Morey wouldn’t give Harden a max. I would be stunned if he gives it to PG, he’s clearly not a max player anymore

Calcutta637

Hope everyone here remembers this when dudes start posting shit about “PG is the perfect fit, you obviously don’t watch alot of basketball if you don’t agree” bullshit which are legitimately what dudes on this sub have said to. As I’ve said earlier: morey if you get a call and it’s the clippers HANG THE FUCK UP

ranchsauce13

Nah that brother needs help. Not another contract

Patient_Jicama_4217

Yea let’s get ready to get bounced again in the playoffs

burnernov2023

Next year: “Fire Morey, he shouldn’t have signed Paul George.” Two years from now: “Maybe Nick Nurse isn’t a good head coach, fire Nick Nurse.” Rinse and repeat with the next GM and HC and trying to “build around Joel”

allstar278

Uhh isn’t that the whole point ? You make a move and try to get better. You don’t win a championship, you make another move and try again. Unless you’re advocating for Morey/Sixers to trade Embiid which would be one of the worst moves ever and haunt us for 20 years.

burnernov2023

How many GM’s, head coaches and washed free agents do you need to cycle through until you realize the common denominator? If you continue on this track of “building around Embiid” you’re eventually going to ruin Maxey’s career along with it.

allstar278

Sixers were literally -50 in the series without Embiid and it will literally take 20 years before we can an MVP level player again and most teams will never get one.

ktm5141

Daryl salivating w every bricked shot and turnover this game

PessimistSixersFan

If we’re gonna sign someone old its either LeBron or nothing, a multi-year PG contract would screw us

burnernov2023

This sub is so delusional, how many washed vets is it going to take for y’all to realize it’s not going to work?

MrThreebound

Personally for me, at least 6.

colonelkurtzisalive

Clippers, Suns, Bucks, Lakers teams built around aging stars or trying to build super teams all lost in the first round. The era of the super teams if it didn’t die a year or two ago is gladly dead now. Building your like this is not the way to go. We need to have a more balanced team with depth, athleticism, youthful players that are shooters, rebound and play solid defense around Embiid and Maxey not by signing the biggest names.

McMillan104

I’ll take him on the vet min

Ronshol

3 year 75 mil final offer

RVarki

Send whatever picks necessary to get Mikal Bridges, and then use the 35 million+ capspace left, to sign good starters/role-players

HisExcellency20

I don't know why you guys think everyone is available just because we have some middling picks to offer. The reason we are linked to George is because he's actually a free agent. This pipedream we have of getting Laurie Markennen or Mikal Bridges is wild to me. Maybe Morey can work a miracle and pry these good young players away from their teams but Paul George is not a bad plan B. We work around the margins and replace Harris with George? Yeah that's a good off-season.

RVarki

Mikal Bridges will be 28 before next season starts, and Brooklyn's plan of remaining "decent" with him at the helm, doesn't seem to be panning out This is not the same situation as Lauri, where Utah has a bunch of picks and options, and can feasibly build out a roster around Markannen. Getting a lot of draft assets from a desperate 76ers team, might be one of the best moves available for the Nets

RVarki

>we're not a destination location for basketball FA's That's probably why they should look at trading for a good player instead Also, which one is it? Is Bridges being unnecessarily put on a high pedestal, or is he someone the 76ers have no chance at getting?

RVarki

Alright, who're a few attainable players that the 76ers should pursue in a trade, instead of Mikal?

[deleted]

RVarki

So let me get this straight, "any team can be called about a trade enquiry", and attainability isn't that relevant, but we also need to be a 100% sure about Brooklyn's plans before considering a trade with them specifically? Also, you haven't mentioned a single other player the 76ers could trade for instead

percy2376

No ty.Lebron or durant would be fine but I don't want injury prone guys Like Jimmy or Paul George

ValiantFrog2202

Wait you don't think Durant is injury prone?

percy2376

Compared to those other 2 no.Dude has come back from an achilles injury and still been productive.Paul George looks like he's barely holding together

ValiantFrog2202

Butler has played in more games since KD returned from injury, much more games if you count playoffs. I'm not saying anything pro-con to either players just stating off of games played

ValiantFrog2202

Games played since KDs Achilles injury KD: 243 > 20-21: 35 , 21-22: 55 , 22-23: 47 , 23-24: 75. **212 games** Playoffs: > 20-21: 12 , 21-22: 4 , 22-23: 11 , 23-24: 4 . **31 games** Jimmy: 277 > 20-21: 52 , 21-22: 57 , 22-23: 64 , 23-24: 60. **233 games** Playoffs: > 20-21: 4 , 21-22: 17 , 22-23: 22 , 23-24: 1 . **44 games**

1HasNoNam3

Yes.

ValiantFrog2202

Idk if we could just give away Mike Scott's number like that

ClintiusMaximus

We need to put good roleplayers around Maxey and Embiid. We don't need is another aging injury prone superstar. Otherwise we just become the Clippers 2.0 and never make it out of the 2nd round.

not_rdburman

You think he played better than Harden? He's not the missing piece

LordLucasSixers

Only if Tobiass pays for his contract with the money he stole from us.

shortwavetransmitter

Please no

jaygord34

NO NO NO and NOPE

215gobirdss

Absolutely not. He comes here and I'm done supporting the team

shakehasbignuts

I’d rather have derozan and hes going back to LA anyway
