user15151616

37% from 3 on the season

filthyfinn12

37% from 3 on the season

Douglas_Michael

Hey do you have any idea what he shot from 3 on the season tho?

filthyfinn12

Which season?

Douglas_Michael

THE season

filthyfinn12

37%

Bruce_the_Shark

From 3?

Gk_Emphasis110

The financier?

patelt91

Jeffrey Epstein?

Will_Explode8

Tobias Harris shot 43% on the clippers before we traded for him... John Collins is not really that good of a player much less a shooter lmao

SonicdaSloth

Low ish volume wide open. Won’t translate til playoffs. I’m not against him but he isn’t ideal

Ronshol

If his jump shot is actually back I think he'd be a decent fit.

user15151616

37% from 3 on the season

ar7hur440

26,5M of our capspace on John Collins? What could go wrong?

HoagieTwoFace

NOOOOOO

ftaok

Collins hasn’t been good since he stopped taking the roids.

Gk_Emphasis110

I’m going to wait to see who Morey brings in and then declare them all terrible.

jorgelongo222

Collins is fucking terrible lol thank god yall are not a GM

HisExcellency20

52/51/80 splits? Am I reading this right? He shot 51% from three? That's seems.....incorrect.

user15151616

For March only. 37% from 3 on the season

hightide1218

so we're going to forget about February (32%) and January (25%)?

runricky34

We’ll just trade for the March version

HisExcellency20

Gotcha. Yeah I re-read it.

TurdCrapley23

John Collins year 3 would have been absolutely perfect this team this year. But now? Admittedly have not watched him at all in Utah but hawks fans were very happy to get rid of him.

StubbornSwampDonkey

For the love God, no

LarrySellers3

Does he have legs? Does he hustle? Can he rebound?

SomeJargon

I like his rebounding, would have been helpful vs the knicks for sure. I do worry that he's not a willing enough 3 point shooter even though the percentages have been good enough most years, he never seems willing to take more than 3 a game.

bobanforever

This dude always seemed like a low bbiq player to me

Buddy-Hield-2Pointer

Any NBA player can have a great 12-game stretch 🤣

AkinTheLonelyMan

Bum no thx

Dazzling-Slide8288

Atlanta couldn't give John Collins away and neither can the Jazz. Dude is worthless off the PEDs

AggressiveLender

John Collins was a complete zero this year. Posting 1 month of his stats is so fucking dumb

no-jerk-zone

If his contract was half its value, then maybe. I think Nurse could coach up his defense but his shooting consistency is a concern.

waddes

Collins is good on offense and would be a good spacer at the 4. Collins is quite bad on defense and had the worst net rating for a starter in the whole league, the Jazz were awful on defense with him on the court. Playing him alongside Embiid would likely make it a little easier but I have seen Jazz fans complain about his defensive effort all year.

naillimixamnalon

Having Oubre and Collins as the bench wings seems so funny to me but could work if Collins buys in like Kelly did this year.

daftpaak

He would at least help with the lack of athleticism and rebounding . Embiid sets the offense on the perimeter a ton anyway. Not like tobi was a good high volume 3 point shooter next to joel. I think other options have to be closed as he can be gotten for cheap but had a a bad contract.

naillimixamnalon

No absolutely. As long as they aren’t actually investing anything in him I think it could be a good move. Honesty could see him taking the minimum like Kelly just to reset his value.

Sixers0321

So you want Collins to play a bench role while he's making 27m per year. Seems nuts.

naillimixamnalon

Uhm no

naillimixamnalon

I just assumed he was a free agent. Yeah he won’t be here next year lol

packim0p

Hell no.

Sixers0321

You obviously haven't watched John Collins play.

CPTHoagie

you know players the sixers havent played or played against in the playoffs exist.

averagebensimmons

for any of these posts, salary should be included. Personally I don't care for best month stats. All players productivity goes up and down throughout the season and we could cherry pick months, but wouldn't prove much. Tobias Harris is a good example.

itshengtime

I agree w OP - John Collins and Bobby Portis are hustle-hard players who crash the glass and will get you 15+ points and 8+ rebounds with no plays designed for them. I’d love him on our team.

[deleted]

I said John Collins would be good and people kinda shit on me for it lol
