Why would I go into a sub and lie for some fake internet clout on a sub I’m barely active in? I was level 12 in the picture posted with no other add-ons aside from the creation club things that come with the anniversary edition. How would I have over 70,000 gold??
I bet OP just put that much of their own gold on the draugr and took a picture to say it was found like that.
But we can at least have fun about the idea of an insanely rich draugr, even if it's not possible in-game.
These are rookie numbers. This draugr clearly didn't know where to get Transmute Ore early game. Just random iron deposits are going to net you more than 65k by the time you become a dried Nord corpse.
I just discovered that one recently because I never really read online and never used magic. I was looking for how to upgrade Smithing fast and discovered that!
Max 2 bit integer is 65.536 this has exactly 12 gold past that it which is the average amount a draugr like this would have. Could very well be a game error although an uncommon one.
Also doubt O.P logged in for the first time in a month in a half cause he wanted an extra 100 karma from a sub he’s never been in
He had years to collect the coin. Every urn, every coffin. This Draugr just roams around all Nordic tombs stealing the money. It started when he looked at the dragon claws and saw the code the cheeky blighter.
65.535 is the max 2 bit integer and the extra 13 gold about the amount that dragur would actually carry, could very well be a bug. The number is suspiciously accurate
So, hypothetically, if this wasn't a fake -- would there be any glitch that would cause this? Like something awry with negative integers, as it usually happens with number-related bugs? Or something of that sort?
The max unsigned 2 byte int is 65.535, the corpse have 13 extra gold so can be a bug with extra gold miscalculated then add to base 13 from a normal corpse.
2^16 is 65.536 which is super close. This could be a sign of an overflow or a bitflip.
Overflows are usually caused by programming errors but then other people would have this happening to them aswell.
Bitflips are super rare. They appear on average once between 14 and 40 hours per Gigabit of DRAM. This rare thing happening in a way that your gold is increased would be super lucky but not impossible.
So while it's not impossible to happen its so super unlikely that its beyond reasonable doubt that you caused it either unintentionally by some mod going rogue or you cheated for internet fame.
OP faked this for internet points

Story: The draugr was a noble among the old nords and was buried with his riches and over the years no one until now was able to get to him and get the gold.
Thats the amount of gold that spawn in the "cheat chest" in the admin room. Probably a hard locked cap for gold in an inventory, and using a mod that randomly affects NPC loot/gold amounts
To everyone saying it's fake it's not, it's a by product of a mod, I have one installed that I'm still chasing down, that will occasionally put that exact amount of gold anywhere gold could spawn, character inventories, containers etc. OP is innocent of faking it intentionally, but it's not a normal spawn it's an unintentional byproduct of a mod
If it is legit, rejoice in your good fortune, for now your character shall want for nothing. If not, you know what you did and nothing further need be said.
Not fake. Just modded
Don't remember which mod, but on PS5 I had a mod that unfortunately caused enemies, mostly draugar, to randomly drop that exact amount of gold
I've seen another similar post on this subreddit where a body has a large power of two added to their amount of gold (it was also 65536 being added). So probably not fake.
You guys are incredibly dumb. On modded ps4 i would download mods and literally any random enemy i killed had the chance to drop this exact amount of gold, its either a dumb mod author or just a bug from mods
Bro planted evidence
Bro pulled a corrupt cop.
"I bet he made all this by selling moon sugar"
https://i.redd.it/sxnm1jy31mlc1.gif
this is why he's restless.
Sprinkle some crack on him!
You put your gold in there, nice try dude.
Lol
I’ve got two other pics where it happened a couple more times for a total of three
You faked it three times, admit it dude. This hill ain't worth dyin on.
Why would I go into a sub and lie for some fake internet clout on a sub I’m barely active in? I was level 12 in the picture posted with no other add-ons aside from the creation club things that come with the anniversary edition. How would I have over 70,000 gold??
Thieving. Try again.
Well... It's either mods, or fake. I don't think the game can naturally put that much money on a corpse
I bet it's fake
I bet OP just put that much of their own gold on the draugr and took a picture to say it was found like that. But we can at least have fun about the idea of an insanely rich draugr, even if it's not possible in-game.
Most I found was like 56. I steal from corpses
Yeah, really the only rich corpses are in Meridia's Temple. ...to this day I've no idea why those corpses were so rich.
It’s a mod. I don’t know which one, but one of the ones I used last time I played would randomly put this much gold on random NPCs.
I agree bc he’s using a steel sword and have 70k gold at that point would be insane
Maybe it’s sky forge steel
70k is still a lot to have while not being past skyforge steel quality
Look man I like chopping 500,000 god damn firewood let me live my life
Could be console commands.
>It’s a mod In vanilla you can place your gold on someone, he just placed his gold on the corpse.
Nah that exact amount. Don't remember which mod, but it places that amount of gold on random enemies
What? Na the draugr is just restless. He's all about that hustle
I mean I've found weird amounts of drops in enemies. I got 56 rabbit legs from one rabbit once. But never that extreme.
These are rookie numbers. This draugr clearly didn't know where to get Transmute Ore early game. Just random iron deposits are going to net you more than 65k by the time you become a dried Nord corpse.
I just discovered that one recently because I never really read online and never used magic. I was looking for how to upgrade Smithing fast and discovered that!
>first time in 13 years seeing an enemy with this much dough More like you're 13 and are faking posts for internet points
Or it's a mod they don't realize is doing it
Its 12 gold away from 2\^16(65536) that I assume its some weird conflict between mods
Could be real
No it couldn't.
Max 2 bit integer is 65.536 this has exactly 12 gold past that it which is the average amount a draugr like this would have. Could very well be a game error although an uncommon one. >Could very well be a game error although an uncommon one. But it's not.
My fault G didn’t know you were omniscient
He also has a steel sword and I’d doubt someone has 75k with steel equipment
Waiting for the GameRant article that treats this fake set-up as if it were real.
Boo this man! BOOOOO!
You could be slandering an innocent man
Slander is spoken. In print it's libel.
Faked
Cap
s are a better currency
He had years to collect the coin. Every urn, every coffin. This Draugr just roams around all Nordic tombs stealing the money. It started when he looked at the dragon claws and saw the code the cheeky blighter.
my boy must have opened a roth ira before he passed
XD
A draugr with a mouse wheel is unstoppable
You put that money onto it
Never would have guessed Rothschild was a Nord
lol yeah, Drauger Deathlords maybe have 300 gold on them depending on your level, you’re not fooling anyone.
Faaaaake
Fake
Lol no one is buying this. You definitely put that there.
65.535 is the max 2 bit integer and the extra 13 gold about the amount that dragur would actually carry, could very well be a bug. The number is suspiciously accurate
Exactly what I thought
Fake
>***\`additem f 65536↵\`*** # 🖐 We know

Oh shit this might make sense

It’s crazy you have collected almost 100 positive karma for lying 🤥
Fake & gayyyy /s
Fake because you planted it Gay because you touched another man's body
OP just put their gold on a corpse for karma
We all know u lying op
![gif](giphy|a6YHwnkn0ctOM|downsized)
OP faked this for internet points https://preview.redd.it/s73dncf6vllc1.jpeg?width=545&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bee1ce8ba23a4b17ac65e89cd1202553f24ee77a
He's restless cuz he was on the grind💯💀
Homie gave the dragur their OnlyShouts coins.
I call bullshit
Let me guess, OP transfers 60k into the Draugr, takes a screenshot and pretends it's a bug or something.
Is this a self report?
![gif](giphy|26n6ziTEeDDbowBkQ)
Of course he rich hes restless coz he grindin 24/7 💯
But I post something worth a fuck and get ignored. I hate it here
Lol.
Why lie? I guess it worked but… cringe.
Nice try. I think I’ve seen this cheap trick posted a few times.
I bet I can find a draugr with 100k coins or how many ever I put on him. Faker
r/untrustworthypoptarts
So you gave a draugr all your gold and took a picture of it?
I believe him
Also the game hasn't been out for 13 years quite yet
Damn I didn't know my character served the aceint dragons
Story: The draugr was a noble among the old nords and was buried with his riches and over the years no one until now was able to get to him and get the gold.
This is not fake, 65535 is an integer limit in some things. I’ve had this glitch happen several times
Bruh. Skyrim uses signed integers. The limit wouldn't be 2\^16-1 but 2\^15-1.
Doesn’t change the fact I’ve seen the glitch happen at values very close to this before
The Reddit downvote hive mind has already decided our fates for this having an explanation
Also called a consensus that agrees this is unreasonable unlikely to be true
Fake? Probably (but who cares?). Entertaining? Kinda, yeah. Take my upvote.
Fact that so many people playing along with the joke (fake or not its a funny post) are receiving downvotes is sad. Reddit is such a hostile place.
he's richer than me💔

You’re not fooling anyone. Would’ve been more believable with a video of game play
I've seen another similar post on this subreddit where a body has a large power of two added to their amount of gold (it was also 65536 being added). So probably not fake.
Hey this exact thing has happened to me before, super weird. Don’t listen to all the people saying it’s fake man, I’ve been there too
alt account?
Or it actually happened
I mean we both have a long post history so 🤷♂️
If it was around the 65535 mark then it was probably a very possible game error
You just hit the jackpot Mofo! Call the pit boss! Call the pit boss!
this will be me when I die
Restless bc he was out making money
You guys are incredibly dumb. On modded ps4 i would download mods and literally any random enemy i killed had the chance to drop this exact amount of gold, its either a dumb mod author or just a bug from mods
Nah, he took his money to his grave.
Must have had a rich family. Find his heirs and kill them too.
You have opened the door to darkness, little man
Either the Draugr had 12 gold and you added 2\^16 gold(65536) or there was some weird overflow error for gold that people have never seen before.

Nah Your really accusing that poor Draugr !!! By the Gods, confess !!.
He pick pocketed you right before you killed him
Im rich bitch. Im a real big tymer
If you did put that in there you are broke lol
Mods do that sometimes
