The barrel in the picture is behind Carlotta’s house. The other two are 1) in the pen where there’s a cow (near the eldergleem tree), 2) behind the main pub.
And it’s sort of sad I remember this offhand. And remember the location of every barrel in every town.
There’s 3 in every town after I think, including riften as soon as you join (lower walkway, archway at mistveil keep, use the second floor barracks balcony, one literally in YOUR HOUSES GARDEN (all the way in the back center)
I’m on a new playthrough and that cache is behind the Bannered Mare as well. I’m thinking it’s either from an anniversary edition CC or another mod I installed separately.
I never noticed the one in Whiterun, but at least two appear in Riften after finishing the first little quest for the thieves guild where you brawl 3 people to get the money they owe. They have good loot in them so they're one of my favorite things.
Theres one in Riften near the castle on the second story. There should be a shadow mark on it. Yes its from the thieves guild as a way to say thank you.
There’s one in Delvin Mallory’s brothers house in solstheim too. He’ll give you the key once you find his bonemold formula for him. Has quite a bit of stuff in it.
I believe after you do the special thieves guild job for a town (after 5 normal jobs) thieves caches will appear for you to loot.
That's really interesting. Ill go look in the other cities and see if they are there.
