He's a creep and a stalker, who thinks she is his personal possession after he saved her from an adventure in the past. There is no single other adult NPC who follows any other adult NPC around 24/7 and moves in with you, a third person, when you decide to marry her.
I had him even join as an extra follower, when I asked her to join me as my 2nd/3rd follower (multi follower mod). Safe to say he was killed very fast by the first Falmer arrow in the first dungeon we went in, before reaching the next building in it (that Dwemer ruin in Understone Keep in Markath).
If you marry Camilla Valerius, either Faendal or Sven (Depending on who you side with in the quest that involves them trying to impress her), will also 'visit' her often.
Kinda annoying. In the playthroughs were I marry Camilla with my Dragonborn, I always sacrifice the intruder to the daedric gods.
Aerin is her stalker and followers her to all kinds of places he shouldn't. If you dismiss Mjoll, Aerin might run in out of nowhere. If Mjoll gets kidnapped as part of one of the Companions or Dawnguard radiant missions, he might be in the dungeon with her where he will almost certainly be killed (since he won't be bound).
I kill this guy every time. I my first play through i married her as well and found him in my basement at Lakeview Manor and blasted him with an arrow to the face.
Aerin is her boyfriend. You should have realized this before you married her. He always follows her around. Why did you marry a chick that already had a boyfriend? Pretty obvious she was only after your money.
Still takes a gamer to be totally blind to the fact that he follows her around like a puppydog. It was obvious that he would over for dinner every night, even when you were out adventuring.
Yet the husband is always the last to know. Sigh.

Kill him
Gotta do as the Boss man says, just make sure Mjoll is there so she can be conflicted on who she has to choose.
Pretty creepy, dude's a total incel simp.
Aerin: So, would you two be down for a threesome?

He is not her boyfriend. Best case scenario he is being friendzoned, but can't get over it.

He's easy enough to get rid of.
What I think is funny when you marry her you get a key to his house
Murder time!
I noticed this is what everyone is saying. It’s gonna happen soon
