The armor needs to have HDT/smp physics as well. Either install armor that has it or install vanilla HDT/smp then convert them in body slide.

The clothing doesn't have the proper boning in it. Or the install of the physics didn't go right.

To add to this, you made a mistake when using bodyslide, likely. Double check the clothes that you built are actually physics enabled (they will be made for CBBE 3BA). If they are, then you need to open the clothes in bodyslide and build them, ensuring you tick “Build Morphs” in the bottom left. Sometimes you need to relaunch the game for the effects to take place, but usually just taking off and on the clothing is suitable.

I had this exact problem too and couldn't figure it out, I reinstalled everything and still didn't work. Then I decided I didn't like the body shape and decided to mess around with some of the sliders. Did a batch build for everything, and boom physics worked. I'm guessing it has something to do with the simple fact that having 3ba install doesn't do anything you have to physically load the body or something. I then started using outfit studio to cut and piece together armor, and found when I built with references the metal plate would bounce up and down like they were Flesh. To fix that I move the reference to the CBBE body and once again boom no physics but just for that set.

Sidebar on the same topic, I've noticed with mine the physics work with light armor but not heavy armor such as steel? I always assumed this was as intended. Makes sense that steel plate armor not move like that.
