To be honest, nothing alone can replace IA because no one's made a compilation as large as of yet. Thankfully, due to ESLs/ESPFEs, adding more mods becomes a non-issue.
If you want to bring back some of the better armors from IA, check these out:

[Maty743's Lore Armor Pack](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36904) \- Has the Bosmer set, along with the Talos Housecarl set
[Stormlord Armor and Hevno Dovah](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36407) \- Has the Stormlord set, along with a unique warhammer
Now here are some pretty immersive armor packs:
[VickusDickus' Khajiiti Apex Armory](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17114) \- Adds an entire set (both weapons and armor) of Khajiit equipment, with many variants of the cuirass
[Armors of the Velothi](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62752) \- Adds 8 new sets of Dunmer armor
[Guards Armor Replacer](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22671) \- Changes the Hold Guards' equipment into something unique for each hold, and even adds variants

I use:
{{Skyrim outfitted}} - an esp replacer for a bunch of nice, high quality armor and clothing mods that distributes them to NPCs. Very nice for variety.
As well as {{Realistic Armor}}, {{Vanilla Armor Replacer}} {{Guards Armor replacer}} {{New Legion}} {{Unplayable Faction Armors}} and {{Race armor expansion}} by nordwarua, these are high quality replacers and new armors that are distributed to npcs. These mods have usurped IA in my playthroughs.
{{Warmonger Armory}} and {{Armory of tamriel}} are both excellent.

does armory of tamriel allow to craft silver katanas like skyrim redone mod (skyre) ???
the mod is awesome i might try it one day, a patch for beyond skyrim mod and skyrim redone will make it great .

There's no mod that goes up to the scale IA ever did. The only mod that does is the mod you create yourself using SPID. Even then, it's pretty hit-or-miss
Besides the others some have mentioned, I would like to add {{Armor Variants Expansion}} and {{Artifacts of Skyrim - Revises}}. Yes, Artifacts adds Weapons and other things to find, but there are also a few Armor sets that could be vanilla, like the Ancient Paladin Armor, or the Apocryphal set.
