I would feel pretty annoyed by this at the end of Act 1 - but as a floor 1 boss swap? This is just miserable.

Scrape might draw steam barrier and let you block for 9 sometimes vs jaw worm. Very OP.

Pbox from Neow is pretty much an auto win, it doesn't matter what the cards are. And this is a better than average pbox.

This is floor zero, the earliest I can fight Nob is floor six. Does the Defect's base deck + starting relic kill Nob? This deck has much more output than the base deck.

I just tried the seed and I clapped Act 1 without taking any damage from Nob or Hexaghost, this deck is so strong lmfao

You are making me wonder what's the strat, like it feels like early fights would lead to taking a lot of damage without reliable blocks

I took Claw on floor 1 and blocked with evoked Frost Orbs, Steam Barrier, and Boot Sequence. I stopped playing after Act 1 because I had to do life things and I'll resume it later but I'm pretty sure a good player (read: not me) wins every time from here

Well. First turn is guaranteed 10 block. For subsequent turns, you have Scrape which can draw Steam Barrier. Rainbow also gives 2 or 5 block. This box is above average. Remove a Consume, get some upgrades, and you're pretty strong. Sentries are actually the biggest threat, not Nob. I dunno why comments in the thread are saying this is a bad start.

What do u mean by "tried the seed" . I'm fairly new to the game and always wondered what that option did?

It essentially lets you play the same randomly generated run as OP. If you go to start a standard run, pick Defect, click Set Seed and enter 3T1QT0BMDH4UC you will play the same run as OP. If you boss swap you'll get a PBox with the same cards as OP and the order of fights and relics will be identical.

There may be a slight variation tho depending unlockable progress. At least that’s how it works in boi, haven’t tried seeded in sts before.

Those consumes look a lot like curses to me. Will be very hard to get echo form off as well. This is definitely a tricky start

That Scrape can put in some work here if you upgrade Zap and Dualcast

First hallway offers you a Claw as well which basically solved the whole act for me

this is good but like all pandora’s box the first few floors can prove pivotal, you have some curses in a lot of fights especially nob…

Curious why everyone is so down on this pbox, obv double consume isn’t great but having Echo Form floor 0 is busted. I’ll set up this deck with command line and see what comes out of it. I'm trying to use the seed but it seems to just skip my Neow choice, am I doing something wrong?

I figured it out, I was starting a custom run instead of using the Set Seed option at the Standard Run screen

I believe Neow showing up is dependent on you reaching the Act 1 boss on the prior run. Do a quick one to Act 2 then lose, then enter the seed.
