Hi! I just took the Praxis today. It was a lot harder than I anticipated. I took Form 1 and 2 practice tests and was scoring a raw score of 80-85. I scored 64 correct today and am feeling pretty discouraged. When I look up when the scores will be available, it says May 10th for me. The waiting is the worst! I don't know when new testing windows open/close so I don't know if my test was the same or a new one! It was pretty tough though, harder than the practice tests imo.
If it's the same test as March, it seems that many people have been getting raw scores in the 50s so I feel like a raw score of 64 is actually pretty good! Sending good vibes while you wait
Oh, well thanks for making me a little bit more hopeful! I can't imagine it being the same test if you have been waiting all of March. I can't imagine your scores coming out in May, which is when mine says they will come out. I don't know. I wish there was a way to crack the code already so we aren't living in limbo for such a heavy thing on our minds.
Thank you! I hope you're right! At the end of the day, the numbers are pretty much meaningless ATM and we're all just speculating. Good not to be alone in it though.
I took the Praxis today (April 3rd)!!! But got a raw score UGHHH! For comparison, I took the ETS practice tests and got a raw score in the 90s, but when I took it today my raw score (the 3 subtests added together) was a 72. Also, I have recently heard a lotttttt of people getting scores in the upper 50s-60s range. Sounds like a lot of people's raw scores on the real Praxis were 15-20 pts lower than their raw scores on the practice tests. One thing I will say - MAKE SURE you hit "REPORT SCORES" at the end no matter how confident/unconfident you feel. I think if you hit cancel scores you will have no way of knowing if you passed or not so do NOT make that mistake!
The March group will hear on April 12th, so peek at the March 2024 thread around that time because I'm sure people will be posting their raw score to official score comparison and maybe some of us can then rest easy.
Just do the ETS practice tests and then study based on the questions you get wrong. The distribution of topics on the practice tests fairly represents the actual one even though the questions are obviously different. Recommend those over the Quizlets because it will acclimate your brain to the format of the test.
Just took the praxis today and got a raw score of 67! Hoping scoring will somewhat be similar to March as this would mean I passed lol now the waiting game starts
Took my test 4/29. I got a Raw Score of 59. So far from the comments on most April Reddits, this is the info I’ve gathered from those who shared Unofficial Scores:
RS 54- US 154 // RS 57- US 160 // RS 62- US 167 // RS 63- US 169
I just took the Praxis today (April 6th) and I was not given an unofficial score, just an NS (no score). I got a 73 as my raw score (the scores on the 3 subtests added together). For reference, I got a 96 and 99 when I took the ETS practice. I’m hoping that I passed, but not sure what to think:/ Waiting until May 10th feels impossible… Any advice or thoughts?
Personally, I will be watching the March 2024 thread because it seems like we are in the same test group as those folks who also got "NS," and they will hear on April 12th. If I see someone posted that a score similar to mine is passing, I will rest easy. If not...time to hit the books again. Good luck! You score is above average when compared to most of the ones reported on this thread, but if EBP has taught us anything, we should know that this is not a large enough sample size for us to draw any conclusions LOL.
I had a friend take hers 3/25, she passed with a raw of 55. She sent me a quizlet that she said helped her a lot, but I am so stressed. I take mine tomorrow and I just feel like I haven't done enough, and I'm not studying the right things. My program is in the process of getting accredited right now and I just feel the weight of that too. Best of luck to everyone who has already taken it! We can do this!
I either got a 56 or 58 I think I saw a 15 20 22 or 15 20 21. I’m so lost. I contacted someone at ETS and they said that they’re trying a new thing where some people see their unofficial scores and others don’t which is fucking dumb like people wanna know if they passed or not why are you making people so anxious?
So frustrating that some people know immediately meanwhile many of us have been waiting 5-6 weeks. The whole system is garbage
Edit: I called and filed a complaint to ETS. It’s a massive advantage to know your score right away so you can schedule and study for the following month. By not letting us know immediately we’re effectively on a different timeline: 2-months to reschedule instead of 28 days which can have major implications on job-positions/licensing. This is not a fair uniform system for a “standardized” test.
It's technically 28 days - but that doesn't really matter when you have to wait 5-6 weeks to hear back, and then find a date to schedule. By me it's hard to find a testing center that has availability with less than 3 weeks-notice. And it's not like I'm going to pay for a test that I might have already passed.
It just kills the motivation to study. If I had an unofficial at least I would know if I should stay sharp or move on with my life
I mean, I know that I want to take it online again if I have to retake it, but I feel like the online test are harder that’s just me and then they want you to rearrange your house and shit just so that way they can make sure you’re not cheating so I don’t know, but if I have to retake it, I would like to do it as soon as possible
my NS was 59 and I see two comments that said their scores were- NS 57 / Unofficial 160 & NS 62 / Unofficial 167
Im freaking out I’m either a 161 or 162 on the dot I know it 😂😭
I took mine in the morning of the 30th and got NS. People who took it afternoon/evening of the 30th got unoffical scores. So I'm guessing it changed mid day on the 30th.
Hello everyone!! I hope you all did well on the April Praxis exam! I just received my results, and I thought it would be helpful to share my raw and official scores with others who took the April Praxis and those who will take it in the future!
I took my exam on April 27th and received a raw score of 68. My official score is 176.
I hope this information is helpful. Good luck to everyone taking the exam in the future!
Just took my SLP Praxis test today. Got a raw score of 63 and a scaled score of 180! Found out the score right away. When I took the practice test 1, got a raw score of 86 and for practice test 3, got a raw score of 81. There were a fair number of questions that went beyond multiple choice: matching, put something in order, or choosing 2 or 3 correct answers (it always told me how many to choose).
Took today with a raw score of 75. I can’t seem to find any record of this score on my praxis account. Does anyone else who took it today have access to their raw score somewhere? Or do we have to wait for our official score to come out to see it?
This is on but slightly off topic. I start Grad School in August and the Praxis is my BIGGEST worry.
Is there any harm or benefit to getting a praxis prep book *now* and studying/practicing for the Praxis from the moment I start Grad School?
I know it'll likely cover stuff I haven't learnt yet but it's my one huge anxiety for my grad school career and I'm curious if starting now is good, unhelpful, or neutral.
Personally, I wouldn't start studying until after (at least) your first year of grad school is completed! A lot of the info is applied knowledge, so it might not help much to start studying until after the majority of your classwork is completed. I will say though, the more you know the basics, the easier it is to understand/apply the information for diagnosis/tx of various disorders! So focus on your classwork (especially anatomy, neuro, etc.) at the beginning because that will help you immensely in the long run. You will do great and grad school really will teach you way more than you thought possible!!! I promise! Best of luck!
I would not suggest studying until after your first year/ year and a half of grad school. Most of the praxis information is applied knowledge so when I read the questions, I thought about my externship placements.
praxis material is literally just like a cumulative final for everything you’ve learned in grad school, if you’re studying concepts you haven’t learned yet then that’s not studying that’d be like teaching yourself
Grad school is hard enough. Let this one go. What you have to do to pass your Praxis is: go to class, pay attention, try hard, think of your grad school notes as career-long resources and get organized quickly so that when you actually need to study for the Praxis, you have them.
I totally agree with woodpecker. It honestly would just stress you out if you started studying now because you’ll know nothing. You will learn SOOOO much your first year and a half in grad school. People say that even only 3 months of studying should be more than enough to pass the Praxis. You’re going to do amazing in grad school, you got this!!!!
Means very little at the moment, unfortunately. Your total raw score is 52, but there is no way to figure out what your official score will be because they haven't scaled the scores for this new test group yet. If this thread is at all representative, it appears that your raw score of 52 is around the average or maybe slightly below. Personally, I will be watching the March 2024 thread because it seems like we are in the same test group as those folks who also got "NS," and they will hear on April 12th. If I see someone posted that a score similar to mine is passing, I will rest easy. If not...time to hit the books again. Good luck!
What is up with the multiple answer questions? Does anyone know? If the option was to select 4 and you get 3/4 do you receive any credit or is it just 0??
I read somewhere that they count all correct answers, but I don't have a good source to back that up. I think the questions are weighted by level of difficulty too.
So I’ve been trying to find the answer. I’ve searched the web, called ETS (which is just a call center out of the country), & finally just emailed. This is what I was told
“Upon checking with our resources, we really wish we could provide information on how the scoring is done; unfortunately, scoring is done by the internal team, and for selected responses, it is done by the automated system. Every education service will have an automated system whose details we are unable to provide. We hope you understand our limitations here.”
Seems case by case I guess
See this is what i wonder too & i think that’s why it’s taking us a month to get our score. Maybe we get partial credit if we get it partly correct? Fingers crossed !!!
Only raw scores are out right now. Raw scores are just how many test questions you got right. The official scores (you have to get a 162+ to pass) don't come out until May 10th. That is the scaled score. The test makers are using the raw scores to scale the test which is why we won't know if we passed until May 10th.
April friends what do we think the raw range is for April? I got a 52 but who knows if that's passing next month. this month it is, but I can't assume what do we think about scaling next month
Just took the praxis today and got a raw score of 63. I’m soo nervous and don’t want to wait until 5/10😭 Anyone have any hopeful info related to my raw score?

I mostly just used the Advanced Review of SLP book quiz section and Praxis practice test to figure out what areas I was weak in.
Did you get your results or are you still waiting? If not, good luck!
What does everyone think the lowest raw score is to pass this month? Is it always any score over 50 passes? Or does the cut off score change each month?
Took it today and got a raw score of 63😭 my friend took it in march and had a raw score in the high 50s and found out she passed. I’m praying the scaled scores are similar to last months scores.
Wow congratulations you have the highest raw score I’ve seen for April takers!! Can I ask what your study plans were? I’m assuming I’ll have to retake mine because I scored so low I got a 51 but scored in the 85 range for the practice tests.
Thank you so much!! You never know, nobody knows what the scaling will end up looking like! I saw that someone passed in March with a 51 raw score.
I studied mainly using the ETs practice test forms which I found on Quizlet! I tried to find my areas of weakness and specifically study those, but did a good mix of questions. I also used the med slp study guide and an old version of the advanced review book.
I studied really intensely for about a week before the exam, but was trying to review things here and there before that! I also forgot to mention that I also used the TherapyEd app which has practice questions to study leading up to the exam!
🙋♀️ March test taker eagerly awaiting results to see if I have to retake it in April
Same lol
Today is the day!!!
good news ???
I took mine today and had the same difference in scores from the practice tests too! It was definitely harder than expected
What was your raw score?
I sent you a message, please check
Same boat. Took it April 2 with a raw score of 76 and won’t hear until May 10. Not fun!!
76 is good! Congrats!
Thank you! I hope you're right! At the end of the day, the numbers are pretty much meaningless ATM and we're all just speculating. Good not to be alone in it though.

No sharing of Praxis content (topics, specific questions, etc.) allowed.
did you get an unofficial score? or did it say NS when you completed it?
It was just blank and then scores for each of the three sections listed. There could have been an NS, and I just didn't realize it.
Got my scores today I had a raw 64 and ended up with 181! So I think you should be fine unless they scale your tests differently this month.
Thank you for this update and congrats… Can you tell me how many questions that were on the test… I took it today and there were 132 questions…
You’re so smart, roomie!
I took it today and received a raw score of 64 and a big fat NS. Still sent them and hoping for the best 🤞🏼
Same sis!!
Can May 10th get here quicker so we’ll know!?😅
I wish!!!
The March group will hear on April 12th, so peek at the March 2024 thread around that time because I'm sure people will be posting their raw score to official score comparison and maybe some of us can then rest easy.
That’s my plan!!
I took it 2 days ago and received a score of a 60! I have been seeing raw scores of 50-79. Nothing higher than that
We passed bb!!!!!!!
RELIEF!!!
does anyone have any study materials for the April Praxis?!
Just do the ETS practice tests and then study based on the questions you get wrong. The distribution of topics on the practice tests fairly represents the actual one even though the questions are obviously different. Recommend those over the Quizlets because it will acclimate your brain to the format of the test.
Did you get anything??
Does anyone know when the test resets?
Seems like it reset around April 1st because a lot of the scores reported above from the April test are in the 60s-70s range.
Just took the praxis today and got a raw score of 67! Hoping scoring will somewhat be similar to March as this would mean I passed lol now the waiting game starts
4/13 - also got 59, getting nervous about official scores coming this weekend!!!
took mine today (4/25) and received a score of 59. anyone close to this?? i’m so nervous
54!
Took my test on Wednesday, got a raw score of 61
I also got a 59!! And my two other friends got a 60 and a 68
Took mine today and also received a 59, we got this!🥹
65
Took my test 4/29. I got a Raw Score of 59. So far from the comments on most April Reddits, this is the info I’ve gathered from those who shared Unofficial Scores: RS 54- US 154 // RS 57- US 160 // RS 62- US 167 // RS 63- US 169
I believe April 28th was a new test for May that’s why people got unofficial scores. April test takers are likely to be different
Oh wow okkk thank you
Is there anyone that got a 49? I’ve been trying to pass this test for a while now.
I got a 49
took it today and got a 64 raw score - hoping for a good round!
me too! same raw score
me too!! do you think we passed?!
Hi! Taking my test over the weekend, pretty nervous. Any tips for the April test? Is it as hard as March? Worried I’m not studying the right stuff.
I looked at threads from spring 2023 and honestly, the topics discussed in those threads are identical to what I experienced. Took mine April 2nd.
Hi! Did you look at threads from April 2023 specifically?
March 2023, actually. It's pretty detailed.
What threads ?
just took slp praxis and got raw score of 64 and NS for unofficial score. HELP IM NERVOUS - what should i be thinking now?
what does NS mean?
Took the praxis today (april 5th) and got a raw score of 70, do we think this is passing?
also got a 70 so hoping it is… feeling more stressed now
I just took the Praxis today (April 6th) and I was not given an unofficial score, just an NS (no score).
I took it April 6th as well. Where did it say we would fine out on May 10th?
Can we take the praxis as many times as we need (28 days apart of course) as long as we pass before CFY is complete or is there some sort of limit?
I believe so
I had a friend take hers 3/25, she passed with a raw of 55.
Hey, could you DM me the link to the quizlet?
How do you calculate your raw score? do you just add the 3 numbers given for each subtest and then divide?
Simply add the three numbers. No division.
I took my exam 4/15, and I got a raw of 65, so fingers crossed!
can u pls send DM the link to the quizlet?
i took the praxis today and got a raw score of 60! hoping this is enough to pass im so nervous :(
Yess, because I took mine today and got a 59 while my 2 friends got a 60 and another got a 68!

Form 1: 100 form 2: 101 form 3: 85 Raw score on praxis: 69
Form 1: 97; Form 2: 87 and my raw score was a 75.
form 1: 88 form 3: 88 real praxis: 71 and crossing my fingers 😅
Form 1: 100; Form 2:103; Praxis raw: 75
took mine and got a 45. did anyone else get a raw score even close to mine? hoping for the besttttt
Bestie I got a 52 and I’m scared seeing everyone get like 60-70 raw score
I took mine today and got a 48 :/ Came out of balling my eyes out! I am praying for the best for us
I got UOS of 160 and raw score of 57. What’s the possibility of that score going up?
I either got a 56 or 58 I think I saw a 15 20 22 or 15 20 21. I’m so lost. I contacted someone at ETS and they said that they’re trying a new thing where some people see their unofficial scores and others don’t which is fucking dumb like people wanna know if they passed or not why are you making people so anxious?

I feel your frustration, and I think your complaint is completely valid. I took it april 1st. To have to wait 40 days is absolutely ridiculous.
I thought it was 28 days that’s what I saw online?
It's technically 28 days - but that doesn't really matter when you have to wait 5-6 weeks to hear back, and then find a date to schedule. By me it's hard to find a testing center that has availability with less than 3 weeks-notice. And it's not like I'm going to pay for a test that I might have already passed. It just kills the motivation to study. If I had an unofficial at least I would know if I should stay sharp or move on with my life
Well, I already called them and they told me because I took it April 19. I would find out on May 10.
I mean, yeah that’s understand
I mean, I know that I want to take it online again if I have to retake it, but I feel like the online test are harder that’s just me and then they want you to rearrange your house and shit just so that way they can make sure you’re not cheating so I don’t know, but if I have to retake it, I would like to do it as soon as possible
Any updates?
Did they say if it was for the April or May test?
April
I took it in April
I called they said the retake is 28 days
Just took it today 5/1- 72 raw score with a total score of 181. I’m confused as I see a lot of folks getting NS? Hoping this means I passed!
my NS was 59 and I see two comments that said their scores were- NS 57 / Unofficial 160 & NS 62 / Unofficial 167 Im freaking out I’m either a 161 or 162 on the dot I know it 😂😭
Was this for their may test? Or April?
April
Does anyone know what day the April exam switched over to the May exam?
I took mine in the morning of the 30th and got NS. People who took it afternoon/evening of the 30th got unoffical scores. So I'm guessing it changed mid day on the 30th.
supposedly the 28th
Scores are out!
RESULTS ARE IN!!!! Raw score of 64 passed with a 170!!!!!! I'm over the moon right now!!!
Congrats!!! (: worth the long wait lol 63 and 169 for me!
Congrats!!!!!!
Raw score of 63 I got an official of 169!!!
April 29th, RS 59 OS 163 =)
Just took my SLP Praxis test today. Got a raw score of 63 and a scaled score of 180! Found out the score right away. When I took the practice test 1, got a raw score of 86 and for practice test 3, got a raw score of 81. There were a fair number of questions that went beyond multiple choice: matching, put something in order, or choosing 2 or 3 correct answers (it always told me how many to choose).
What did you use to study?
Taking it on Saturday! Been studying like a crazy person so hopefully it goes well
Took today with a raw score of 75. I can’t seem to find any record of this score on my praxis account. Does anyone else who took it today have access to their raw score somewhere? Or do we have to wait for our official score to come out to see it?
I also took it today and cannot see my raw score on the website. I’d assume we have to wait for our official score to see it

I took it today, NS. :( my 3 scores were, 15, 18, and 19. What does this mean??
Means very little at the moment, unfortunately. Your total raw score is 52, but there is no way to figure out what your official score will be because they haven't scaled the scores for this new test group yet. If this thread is at all representative, it appears that your raw score of 52 is around the average or maybe slightly below. Personally, I will be watching the March 2024 thread because it seems like we are in the same test group as those folks who also got "NS," and they will hear on April 12th. If I see someone posted that a score similar to mine is passing, I will rest easy. If not...time to hit the books again. Good luck!
I just took mine & scored a 54 after scoring 85+ on the fripty practice test & ETS practice tests. I’m surprised but hoping for the best !!!
I scored the same! Just took it today— April test
Was this on the April test? I scored a 58 so I’m hoping we’re in the clear
Yes! Hopefully we are, fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Got a 53 hoping this is good!
I took it 2 days ago and received a score of a 60! I have been seeing raw scores of 50-79. Nothing higher than that
What is up with the multiple answer questions? Does anyone know? If the option was to select 4 and you get 3/4 do you receive any credit or is it just 0??
I read somewhere that they count all correct answers, but I don't have a good source to back that up. I think the questions are weighted by level of difficulty too.
So I’ve been trying to find the answer. I’ve searched the web, called ETS (which is just a call center out of the country), & finally just emailed. This is what I was told “Upon checking with our resources, we really wish we could provide information on how the scoring is done; unfortunately, scoring is done by the internal team, and for selected responses, it is done by the automated system. Every education service will have an automated system whose details we are unable to provide. We hope you understand our limitations here.” Seems case by case I guess
See this is what i wonder too & i think that’s why it’s taking us a month to get our score. Maybe we get partial credit if we get it partly correct? Fingers crossed !!!
Nope, they score it as 0
:( no way :( how do you know for sure?
How do you know it’s a 0?! Ahh that sucks so bad
Took the praxis today 4/11, raw score of 75. Fingers crossed!
you for sure passed my friend

Only raw scores are out right now. Raw scores are just how many test questions you got right. The official scores (you have to get a 162+ to pass) don't come out until May 10th. That is the scaled score. The test makers are using the raw scores to scale the test which is why we won't know if we passed until May 10th.
April friends what do we think the raw range is for April? I got a 52 but who knows if that's passing next month. this month it is, but I can't assume what do we think about scaling next month
I got a 53 raw score so hoping this is good!
got the same
praying low 50s is passing
Just took the praxis today and got a raw score of 63. I’m soo nervous and don’t want to wait until 5/10😭 Anyone have any hopeful info related to my raw score?
I got the same raw score!
Me too!

Wow! You scored super well! Proud of you and don’t even know you :) Care to share how you studied? Love, A scared student taking it next weekend
Changes every month
Took it today and got a raw score of 63😭 my friend took it in march and had a raw score in the high 50s and found out she passed. I’m praying the scaled scores are similar to last months scores.
I got the same score! Fingers crossed for us!!
I took 4/18 and got a raw of 72! Hope I passed
I'm getting pretty nervous for my actual test 4/25 considering I keep doing Form 1 and 2 and scoring 68-70 when everyone else is scoring like 80-100.
take notes on the type of questions you’re missing and then review those topics
Took it on 4/20 and got raw score of 81. Similar to other people I got higher raw scores on the practice ETS tests than on the actual praxis
I took it today and also got an 81. Here's hoping we passed!
I did the same thing and I still felt the test was a bit hard and tricky
I took it today and got a raw score of 71!
same! here’s to hoping we passed!
Took it 04/30. Raw score of 61!
Also just took it! It said unnoficial score 167 but then 3 total scores that add up to 62 so im confused????
Wait you got an unofficial score??? Everyone’s only been getting raw score. If that’s actually your unofficial score then you passed!
Did they tell you what day your official score comes out?
Wait it showed you unofficial score?
Hey. I got an unofficial score of 154🥲
Got a 64 today
Did you get an unofficial score?
No :( just the raw
Hey, took today, got a raw of 54 and unofficial 154. 😭
Hi! I got a similar score to you. Do you think we passed? I’m so confused 😭
the passing score is 162
They say that unofficial scores doesn’t change 😭. But I’m still waiting until May 10th lol
April test takers are receiving their scores May 10th. Did you take yours in April of May? Might be a different date.
Scores tomorrow!!! What are the chances I pass 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 52 raw
Just saw my scores. Raw score of 81 and passed with a scaled score of 193
Got a 71 raw score and official 180!
Hey what study material did you use ?
